Forbidden Fun at the Snake Temple

AN- This is a off shot of my story "Island of the emerald Serpent". Reading that might make this make a little more sense. This is AU from that though. Just done for fun.

Rahul stood just under the cover to the tall trees that surrounded what looked like ruins of an old temple of some kind. Stone steps led up to a hill and disappeared into a ‘man-made’ opening. It looked like no one had been here in a long time, but Rahul knew better. The young man had been inside the temple and knew that despite how it looked on the outside, the interior of the temple was well keep and in good shape. He also knew that something did live here still. Human hands hadn’t build this temple and it wasn’t human hands that keep the inside in good condition. No… a mythical being lived here. A Naga.



Looking away from the dark opening Rahul looked at his sister, his twin Reina. He’d been given a name from his father’s country, while his sister had been given one from their mothers. Neither he nor his sister really looked like they had a little Indian blood in them though. Reina had been looking at the ruins before them as well. This had been her first time coming here. As he looked at her, Rahul wondered what she thought about being asked to come here with him. It had surprised Rahul enough. During his time here, his imprisonment if you will, Rahul had become friends with the Naga living here. The rest of his family though didn’t share his feelings toward the snake-man, even if he’d been set free in the end.



Finally Reina looked away from the temple and looked at him. “Why was I asked to come as well?” She asked. She’d asked that before they’d hiked through the jungle to get here as well. The same as then her brother had no more answer to give her now. He’d been as surprised as she, when the village elder, an old wrinkly Indian man named Dipak, had given them a letter left at his home for Rahul. It had been simple, saying Valithsar missed having someone else in the temple and asked if he would come with his sister to see him at least once before they left.



“I don’t know,” Rahul said as he started walking up the steps. “Maybe Val just wants to get to know you? He did want to hear about anything I’d tell him while I’d been his… guest. I’d talked-”



“He kidnapped and held you here against your will.” Reina snapped. “Even if you became friends with the…” She barely kept back the word monster,” the snake, that doesn’t make you having been a guest here.”



Rahul sighed and nodded. That was true, but he didn’t view the time he’d spent here as negatively as she or his Father had. He supposed it was because he hadn’t been as scared and worried as they had been. Or started to think him dead… He had worried about what he’d think after he went missing of course, but he’d not been scared for himself during the time he’d been at the temple.



“I know…” He said and sighed. After a moment he shook his head. “Let’s just go in. And remember you agreed to not yell at Val about what happened.”



Reina looked like she didn’t want to acknowledge that, but after a few moments sighed herself and nodded. Glad Rahul gave his sister a smile then lead the way up the cracked stone steps. There were enough that were in decent condition so they didn’t risk spraining an ankle. When they got to the opening the stone work looked better, more cared for. As they went inside, Rahul went a little slow so his sister could have a chance to admire the stone work. On the inside the snakes and other things carved into the stones could still be seen. There was also a small stream of water on either side of the stairway they were now heading down.



It led them into a room with a large still pool in the center. As the Naga had been expecting human visitors the area was well lit with torches. Rahul remembered before there had normally just been a few stone of some kind that fainting glowed to light the room. He’d always guessed that Valithsar had been able to see in the dark a lot better than a human could. As his sister looked around the large round room, he looked towards a hall that lead to the cell he’d spent a good about of his time here in. For a moment he was lost in memories.



A scraping sound, that of hard scales on stone pulled his eyes, and those of his sisters, to the hall on the opposite side of the room. From the opening slithered a green man with the lower body of a serpent. Everything about the man, his skin, scales, and even his hair were shades of green. The only part of him that wasn’t was his slanted eyes. They were a bright violet shade of purple and had long silted pupils.



Rahul smiled when he saw Valithsar, but his sister sent him an unhappy look before catching herself. Valithar just smiled at her, not minding she felt as she did, and then to Rahul. His smile deepened when it turned to the young man.



“Thank you for coming,” He said and motioned for the two humans to follow him back the way he’d come from. After Valithsar had trusted Rahul not to attack him or try to run away at the first chance he got, the Naga had taken him down into this part of the temple, so Rahul knew it was the ‘living’ area. It was where the many Naga’s that had lived here in the past had slept. There were nine bed rooms, and surprisingly a kitchen and bath room down there. They where old fashioned of course, but still worked just fine.



“I hadn’t been sure you’d come, or if you did, I thought you’d likely be alone,” Valithsar said, looking back at Rahul, as they pasted the kitchen. He led the two humans even farther down a flight of stairs to the sleeping area.



“Rahul talked me into it…” Reina shrugged.



Rahul sent his sister a look, and then turned back to the Naga. “Why had you asked us to come?”



Pausing before a door at the end of the hall they’d been walking down Valithsar twisted around to look at Rahul and then his sister. “AS I said in the letter, I’ve missed having someone here. Much more then I’d ever expected I would,” He said quietly. “I learned that your father will be leaving soon and you’ll likely go with him. I wanted… I wanted to get to know you better before that happened.”



Something about the way the Naga said that made Rahul feel he wanted to do more than just talk with him in order to get to know him more. Valithsar opened the door, which lead to his room and slithered towards his large bed. It was covered in colorful bedding, some of which looked old, but well cared for. The Naga slide on to the bed and then motioned for Rahul, and after a moment his sister to join him.



Behind him Reina sputtered. “He… he… I though you said he’d just want to talk or something!?”



Rahul himself was surprised. He knew the Naga had grown to like him during their time together, he’d freed him because of that friendship after all, but he never had expected his. He wasn’t as bothered by it as his sister seemed to be though. Which was surprising really. His sister rather liked sex, and back home had a number male friends that were a little more than just friends. It made their mother worry about her, but she’d never really scolded Reina for what she did either. She believed they made their own chooses and wouldn’t normally interfere.



Looking back at Reina he thought about what to do. What he wanted to do. “Why did you ask if my sister would come as well then?” Rahul asked slowly, still not sure what he wanted to do. He did want to know that though. Even if the Naga though he would say yes, what reason was there for his sister too?



Valithsar just sent him a look that said it should be obvious before he answered, “She’s your twin. It was only right to extend the offer to include her.”



Reina made a sound that made Rahul doubt she agreed she need to be invited to have sex too just because they were twins. Rahul though, just nodded his head and accepted the snake-mans reasoning. Valithsar followed customs that was a bit strange to him, but he’d gotten use to it. That in mind Rahul made his decision. Maybe he’d regret this someday, but he entered the room and let his eyes take in the Naga. He’d knew what he looked like, but had never really looked before. Not like he was now. Seeing this, the snakeman smiled and flicked his tail invitingly.



Reina started after her brother. When did he suddenly start having sex with someone just because they may never see each other again? Okay, maybe that wasn’t the best thing to accuse him of… She herself might do that if she liked someone and they were good looking. But with a green half-snake guy? When did here brother become a furry? Looking at the Naga though, she did have to admit, at least in her head, that his human half was rather good looking. If you ignored that he was green that is. She knew her brother well enough to know he’d likely think the same. He may never have told her, but she knew he liked men as well as women. Unsure what she should do, but not wanting to leave her brother alone here, Reina slowly entered the room. The door closed behind her and she jumped a little.



Looking away from Rahul, whom had made it to the bed, Valithsar looked over at his sister. To his eyes she was just as good looking as her brother. He just wished they were more colorful. Their bright clothing did help, but once that was off he’d be left with their pale skin. He thought humans would look a bit better if they came in more colors, bright ones, like his own race did.



Sliding off the bed he turned his eyes on Rahul. Like his sister he had pale skin and chocolaty brown hair. It was lightly curled, making it wavy looking. This was a little less noticeable on his sister as her hair was longer.
