James D'Lonvincio was a hard-working, seventeen year old senior high school student. Always in the library during lunch with a book up his nose or finishing his homework early.
He wasn't the best looking student at his school, according to himself. According to his mother he looked exactly like his “bastard father” with his weird gray-green eyes, his light brown-blonde hair, his soft shaped nose and his 6' height. James had a slim athlete’s body due to him being on the school's track team. Although he had his mother's rosebud lips for some reason.
James used to be outgoing and talkative. He had friends and went out every weekend, just as every teen did but that all changed three years ago.
Three year's ago on Christmas Eve his favorite person in the world, his dad, left him and his mother. He left because he couldn't stand his mother. She was always accusing him of cheating. The blonde woman would always say that when he was 'working late' he was really cheating on her with his 'girlfriend'. Which was wrong and James knew it. His dad actually working late to bring extra money in the house because his mother was always buying new party clothes and alcohol. She was the one actually cheating.
When David left he tried to get custody of his son but James's bitch of a mother won the battle. She only wanted James so she could get spend the money that the court ordered his dad to give every month for child support.
A few days after the court battle James's mother started using him as her personal punching bag while she was drunk. One would think that while drunk you can't hit or aim right, but his mother sure could. During each beating she would scream at him that it was his fault that his father left ( though of course it wasn't), how much she hates him and how everything would be better if he were dead. After she was done she would leave James covered in his own sweat and blood and wouldn't be back for days sometimes even weeks at a time. Although James was grateful for this, he hated when she came back because the beatings were usually worse.
As the years went on James lost his friends and became depressed. He only saw his dad twice and if he was lucky three times a year on because he lived two plane trips away in New England while he lived in Philadelphia. While on those visits James never told his dad what was going on at home. He didn't want his dad to think he was somehow less of a person because he should have been told someone what was going on at home or that since he told him so late that he was lying on his mother just because he really missed his dad. Plus James just wanted it to be about him and his dad not about his bitch that had the title of his mother.
