So I had this idea last night and I had to test it out! I've only read slash stories a few times, and I've never written one before at all, so I'm hoping it turns out well. It's basically a one-shot but in two parts. XD Meaning that this chapter is the first part and then next chapter is the second part, and then it's the end. I personally am a femslash girl, but, hey, like I say, when you've got an idea, you gotta put it on paper (or Wordpad, in my case) and let someone read it and tell you how it is! ;)

I hope you all like it and don't hate me! (To my femslash readers, I am not selling out, I promise. Penises still give me the creeps sometimes! XD)

Enjoy! :)

The young boy placed his fist on the hard metal but waited. Thought. Thought again. Waited longer.

Nothing changed.

He swallowed and let his arm reel backward before striking the cold structure. The rain was starting to seep through his sweater, sending shivers across his skin. Or maybe it wasn't, in fact, the rain at all.

The metal door before him moaned as it was opened. "Aiden?" asked a strong, masculine voice from behind it. "It's pouring out, Aiden, and your next session isn't until next week! What are you doing here?!"

The boy stood there, looking down at his worn sneakers, studying the stitching of the material coating his feet. He opened his mouth but he couldn't speak. He couldn't look up.

"Come, come inside, please!" the voice demanded, spreading the gap so the boy could enter like he'd done so many times before.

It was warm inside, like it always was. The fireplace in the living room was lit and the dark red flames bloomed to life like wildflowers in spring. The furniture was untouched, the paintings and photographs perfectly aligned, the vase of King Proteas was alive and colorful on the center table. Everything was the same, Aiden noted to himself as he walked in, but it all felt so much different.

"Sit, please."

Aiden's body shuddered at the voice, yet he did as he was commanded, creating a flaw in the man's still furnishings. He peered backward instinctively when he heard the sound of bare feet on the wooden floor.

"Here," said the voice. "Put this on, and drink this. You'll get ill if you don't."

The boy's cold body welcomed the wool blanket as it was gently placed over his shoulders and down his back, though his shirt hadn't been shed yet so he could still feel the freezing rain seeping through. He reached out to grab the mug of tea placed next to the vase and took a sip, his insides warming immediately. When the cup was placed back onto the table, he whispered, "Thank you, Ravi."

The man before him stood at an angle to the fireplace, watching the boy with intent. Ravi, an expert in many styles of the Japanese martial arts, had been mentoring the young boy for the past year. Both of them had gone through many ups and downs, wounds and triumphs, and had grown very close to one another in the process.

In his 23rd year of life, Ravi was tall, strong, and athletic, everything a warrior needed to be, but the young man never wanted to kill. He would never be able to live with the fact that he'd murdered someone. Instead, he became a teacher, and a good one at that. He stood at six feet with a long black mane that he always kept neatly tied at the back of his head. His eyes were a burgundy color while his skin was a mocha-brown. Each of his muscles was thick and overwhelming, especially for his kind, but he wore it well. Many people were afraid of Ravi, to be honest, but he was one of the most caring humans around.

Aiden, the student of Ravi, was only 17 years old. The boy was so close to being a man, and he was afraid. Actually, he was afraid of a lot since he cut the string of childhood and watched adolescence grow instead. Knowing that adulthood was on its way, with more choices and decisions in his path, Aiden was more terrified than ever.

When his parents told him a year ago that he would be sent weekly to a martial artist for training, the boy was fearful of why he had to study violence and tamed savagery. His friends that had gone to weekly classes told Aiden that he would be torn to pieces within two sessions, and that his teacher would be a brutal instructor that would make his life hell. However, he soon found out that his teacher was a calm, encouraging young man that was deeply passionate for the arts.

Aiden considered Ravi to be his best friend. A confidant. His problems and worries didn't seem as horrible once he'd told his mentor about them. Ravi was always kind and gentle when offering direction to Aiden's troubles, unlike Aiden's parents or friends or other relatives. He always felt that he was saying something naive or incredulously stupid, especially to the latter three groups, but Ravi never laughed nor ridiculed him for his thoughts and inquisitions.

It wasn't until recently that Aiden obtained a true fear that he felt he couldn't express to his teacher. He'd never felt that way before about anything. But this was a true flaw that he could not bear to speak about to anyone. It was too embarrassing and unacceptable! The boy had to hide his feelings from his teacher, or it would be fatal for not only him, but Ravi as well.

Presently, in the living room, Aiden sat still on the furniture, listening to the crackle of the flames in the fireplace.

"May I ask you something?"

Ravi's voice startled the boy, whom jumped in surprise. His throat, though just cleansed with tea, had become dry already. "Y-yes..."

Ravi walked closer to the boy and sat down on the wooden table, staring directly across into the light blue eyes of his student. "Why were you standing outside in the pouring rain?" he asked quietly, placing his elbows on his thighs and folding his firm hands together.

Aiden opened his mouth to speak, but, again, not a sound escaped. His eyes faltered and looked down at Ravi's bulging arm muscles that rested on his thick thighs. And his hands... so strong... Aiden could smell the heat and sweat that radiated from his teacher's tanned skin, knowing by that aroma that Ravi had just been practicing in the back room where Aiden had practiced just yesterday. Yesterday...

Aiden wiped his face off with a white towel, seeing the discolor of it when he pulled it away. He smiled triumphantly. He'd had a great workout.

He glanced backward at Ravi, whom was standing on his heels, putting away the Katanas from the lesson. Aiden never could have been able to do that on his heels; he'd always admired Ravi's height. Other things he'd admired about Ravi, too... but those were things he could not think about. He forbade himself to think that way of any man, especially his mentor, ever again.

And yet, he still did.

Ravi turned around and smiled proudly, his white teeth gleaming in the sunset. "Aiden, you did wonderfully today," he praised, walking over to grab himself a towel as well. Aiden peered down at Ravi's toned abdomen when the man couldn't see him do it. He longed to feel the ripples above and leading down to his teacher's navel. When Ravi tossed the towel into a nearby basket, Aiden caught his eyes and grinned over the adoration, throwing his towel back, too.

"Thank you, Ravi," he said, following the young man out of the room to the kitchen.

Ravi grabbed two glasses from a cupboard and filled them with fresh water from the sink. "Next week will be much tougher, however," Ravi stated, handing one of the glasses over to his student. "I won't go that easy on you." There was a smile in his voice but he hid it quickly by taking a drink.

Aiden laughed, setting his empty glass down on the table. "I'm always up for a challenge," he said, running a hand through his violet-colored hair.

The mentor pulled back the drink from his lips, revealing the smile. "Hand that to me, could you?" he asked, motioning to the glass that Aiden just set on the table. "I'll clean them up now."

"Sure," Aiden replied, taking a few steps closer and handing it to his teacher. Their fingertips briefly met and Aiden felt his heart tremble in his chest. Ravi turned around and ran the faucet, beginning to clean the dishes beside him. Aiden heard him talk about something, probably about next week's session, but Aiden's mind was elsewhere. Underneath the black tanktop that hugged Ravi's body was a canvas of beauty that Aiden wanted to run his hands over. The enormous calves at the bottom of Ravi's legs were so thick, and Ravi's thighs were the exact same. Aiden heard his breathing become shallow and ragged, but he couldn't stop his eyes from examining the sculpture before him.

"Aiden?" Ravi asked, turning to look over his shoulder at his student. Aiden's face turned bright pink when their eyes met, but then it turned crimson when Ravi glanced down at what was protruding from Aiden's pants. Ravi swiftly tore his eyes away, dropping the glass into the sink with a clatter, and cleared his throat.

The silence in the room tortured the young boy, and all he could hear was his own heart pound and his breath quicken.

He ran from the kitchen in a flash, hearing Ravi call his name, but there was no way he could turn back now. He was done for. Dead. But he could only blame himself.

"I... I don't know why I'm here..." he said softly, almost like he was speaking to himself. Perhaps he was. "I wanted to apologize... but... I'm not exactly sure what for..." His light eyes peered up at the darker ones. "Should I apologize?"

Ravi shook his head. "If you did, I wouldn't accept it," he said plainly. "Aiden, it was not a problem with me yesterday. You're developing into a man, and--"

"That's," he interrupted, his voice a little louder this time, "not why it happened. I've been through that already, Ravi. When I was 13." He swallowed. "I know why it happened."

Ravi looked down at the floor between his legs. "Oh." He was quiet. "I suppose I understand then."

Aiden took a shuddering breath into his lungs. "Are you... angry?"

The teacher shook his head.

"Say something, Ravi, please," the boy whined. "I'm... afraid..."

"I know," the young man said, glimpsing up at him briefly. "It's dangerous and forbidden to think in such ways, so I don't blame you for being afraid. But I don't think of you any differently than when I wasn't aware of your feelings. It changes nothing here."

Aiden swallowed and nodded, but his heart slowly began to wither.

"Aiden," Ravi said softly, gazing down at his folded hands, "do you know what officers do to warriors when they are found guilty of committing a homosexual act?"

A hollow pit grew in Aiden's stomach as he nodded slowly. He'd heard stories from his friends, family, and simple peasants in town about men who'd been found in such acts and were either raped, castrated, killed, or a blend of the three, and those stories were often continued with laughter or words of approval. It was something that Aiden didn't have the stomach to listen to.

Ravi exhaled sharply and looked up at his student. "That was the other reason behind me not joining the military, Aiden. Out of fear that I would be one of those men destroyed for being... unacceptable."

The boy's eyes widened at the revelation. "Ravi..." he breathed. "You are..."

"Homosexual?" He sighed and leaned backward, his expression shameful. "Yes, Aiden, I am."

Aiden stared at his teacher in astonishment. Amazement. His jaw had hit the floor below him.

With a thin smile, Ravi mumbled, "Aiden, you can stop that now."

The young boy blushed and closed his mouth. "I'm sorry," he said softly, "but I just can't believe it... It's hard to take in."

"It's not something I'm particularly proud of, and I've always been too worried to express myself to anyone out of the fear that the government has cursed this place with." He blew out another sigh and locked eyes with the boy. "I have wanted to tell you, Aiden, because I had this feeling inside of me since you started sessions here. There was just something about you that I knew meant you would be like I was, but there was no way to come out and say that to you without getting me killed." He laughed, almost sounding bitter. "And yesterday... That was the conclusion to my inkling, I suppose." His smile was sly.

Aiden's face, however, expressed humiliation. "I wish you would have told me, so I wouldn't have felt so paranoid and disgusted with myself this entire time!"

Ravi chuckled deeply to himself, his chest bouncing behind the cloth. "I'm flattered that you are attracted to me, though," he said, his burgundy eyes alit.

Aiden smiled slightly as he looked into those dark eyes. He wanted to tell Ravi how attracted he really was to the man. Actually, he would rather show him instead of tell. These thoughts, despite the new confessions between them both, made Aiden feel sick for feeling this way.

"What is it, Aiden?" Ravi asked, his facial features contorting.

The young boy glanced away for a moment to the King Proteas on the table. In bloom. Full of life. Strong. He wanted to feel that way for a long time -- no longer afraid of anything. The only time he ever felt safe and protected was here in Ravi's home, under the same roof as his mentor. Even with jabs, kicks, and blades mere centimeters from his flesh, he would never consider any other place to be more secure than Ravi's home. With Ravi.

Aiden peered back at his mentor, whom gazed at him in the same confusion, and he let the wool blanket fall behind him. The boy stood up from his seat, seeing, for once, Ravi down below him looking up. He bent down marginally, eyes still connected, and grabbed the young man's hands, pulling him upward. Aiden stared up at him, like how it was supposed to be, and ran his hands over the material that covered his teacher's broad, muscular chest. He caught the flicker in Ravi's irises when his palms washed over his nipples and Aiden smiled to himself.

Simultaneously, Aiden leaned in and Ravi declined his head, and both of them embraced one another with a kiss, their hands clinging to each other in passion. Aiden moaned, as this was his first real kiss, and Ravi had never felt so much affection in a long time. Aiden opened his mouth, encouraging his teacher to enter with his tongue, which it did. Ravi's tongue danced with Aiden's and teased his gums tenderly.

As the kiss lingered on with more intensity, Ravi's hands roamed down Aiden's back and to his bum, pulling him upward so the boy could wrap his legs around the man's waist. He could feel the boy's erection against his navel, and his own member grew hard in his pants.

They both pulled away, breathing heavily and staring into each other's eyes, smiling with happiness and forbidden lust.

"I have to... shower..." Ravi breathed, licking his lips.

Aiden nodded in understanding, his chest heaving as his heart thundered in against his ribcage. "Okay..." he replied softly. "Take me with you..."
