The Diary of ...

Monday
07th September 1995

Dear Diary.
I'm assuming that it is the 7th, but I can't be sure.
It could be days since the plane hit the trees, I don't know how long I was asleep for. Mummy still is and I don't know where Daddy or the pilot, Mr Haunch are.
I heard a roar when I woke up, so I think there are wild animals outside. I'm going to stay up here in the plane with Mummy. The plane's stuck inbetween some branches so we're quite high up. We'll be safe here. The animals can't reach us and if I go looking for Daddy, Mummy'll worry when she wakes up. My dress is all torn. I wore my best dress, to meet Daddy's new boss at the airfield.
But now it's all ruined. My tummy hurts, I hope Daddies not gone much longer.

Dear Diary.
Daddies still not back yet, I hope he's alright. I think Mummies not just sleeping, her chest doesn't move. That means she's unconshush, doesn't it diary? There's a man lying on the ground outside. I can't see his face, it must be Mr Haunch.
My tummy hurt's even more now, and I can't feel my legs. Mummy's starting to smell really bad. I'm very hot, and really hungry. I only woke up a couple of minutes ago but now I'm all sleepy again.

Wednesday

Dear Diary.
There's a big cat outside the plane. It looks like the leopard I saw at the zoo. I'm scared it'll come in the plane. How did it get up here? The big window at the front is broken, I don't want to get ate up. Mummy wont help, I'm starting to think she'll never wake up.
I've lost more feeling in my body, I can't feel my tummy now. Maybe it's getting better. I hope Daddy's okay.
