Alright, I've edited what I have and will post it in a day, maybe. I'm mostly satisfied with the rewriting, though I would still love some feedback when I have it up, whether you hate it or love it. Criticism of any kind is appreciated.

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe.
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind,
Possessing and caressing me.
