Your writing is very good; especially compared to some of the stuff I've seen on this site. The story premise is pretty good, but I wasn't exactly hooked by the first chapter (the second, technically), it felt like half of an introduction. What I mean by that is; I don't feel like the story has really started yet, and we don't really know enough about the characters to care about them yet. Despite that there was nothing you did wrong; but you could have included more. (I mean all of this constructively, of course.)

I really do want to know what happens in the story, and I hope you update soon.
