Jinx's flight

I was sitting on a rotting log writing in my dairy. The forest was full of old and new life. The adult animals were talking care of their young unlike my own parents. My parents didn’t want a girl. They want a boy to help with the harvest season. My mother always said “I know you were going to be on trouble when you were born on the hottest July day”. My mother and father were upset when they found out I was a girl. My parents named me Jinx Adriana Taten. (My name mean a charm dark one in Latin and Italian.) I have two older brothers who are completely different. Anthony Beck Taten is the oldest. His age is 22 years old. Anthony dropped out of school during his senior year of high school and there is no hope for him to get married because he couldn’t keep the same girlfriend more then a week. My parents are little disappointed about Anthony not carrying on the family name. I trend not to pay attention to Anthony because say mean and stupid things to me. Blade Evan Taten is the middle child. His age is 19 years old. Blade is not self center like Anthony. Blade has a girlfriend named Kim Shinnery for two years. He also told me that want to get engage with her after he his done with college. Blade also the one who protects me from my parents and my brother Anthony. I decide it was time to go feed the animal that I am taking care of. I was heading to an old barn that held the animals that I was taking care of. I had to feed the baby deer milk. Her mother was hit by a car. Then I feed a fox and her three kits. I found the foxes stuck in a bear trap that my dad set. She almost chewed her pawns off. The hawks were making noise in their cages. They were almost ready to be released back into the wild. I don’t like caging wild animal but I am doing it for their own good. I do sometime wish I was a wild animal so I could roam were I pleased and not have to listen to my parents or Anthony.

“Jinx Adriana Taten gets our ass home right now!” I heard my mother yelled.
I Know I was in trouble because my mother used my full name. I walked out of the barn and shut the doors then run always home so I wouldn’t get in more trouble. My house was in the middle of the woods. The house was painted light blue that started to fade and chip. The black shutter started to turn grey.

“You little shit what the fuck were you think rip the pink dress I made for you “she said to me as I was walking up the steps to the front door.
“
I’m sorry mom but I used them for bandages and the dress was way too big” I said to her. My mother graded my arm and started to twist my arm to it breaking point.

“You keeping forgetting your places Jinx” she said. My mother dragged me by my hair to my room and pushed me in.

“You are going to be blocked in our room till our dad comes home from the fields” she said. I heard the door close and lock. My room was on the first floor. I had a really old bed that had old blankets. I also had a closet but no door on it. There was no were too hid. The windows were nailed shut so I couldn’t get out. I was completely trapped and no one could save me for my fate.I felt that I would never get out of here. I would dead here and no one not even blade could stop it because my father word is law around this house. His word could be the causes me my death. Tonight is going to be a long night.
