Night Meeting

Chapter One:
Night Meeting

The whole land was divided into two parts: a wonderful lush forest that has dried up quite a bit near the stream that cut the two mountains, and the cultivated land where the people lived and thrived. The rainwater came down often and cold, beating against the chipped ground covered in caked dirt and wood—sometimes causing mudslides. But the road was stiff and always gray and checkered with automobiles zooming past leaving a trail of misty smoke behind them. A translucent red car rumbled on the road like 5 ton horse. The two people in there were crying their eyes out. A woman with slightly tanned skin and long black and silvery hair had a bundle in her arms, sobbing endlessly while the male, who looked paler with dark sandy hair was shouting at her in the car.

“We can’t afford to keep her!”

“But she’s my child!” The woman screamed.

Rain came heavier down. The man grabbed the baby and tossed it on the side of the road, stepping of the ignition and driving off, leaving the woman screaming and crying. The baby was there, getting soaked in the rain, but thank God for the covers. However, the water was beginning to seep on her fair skin and great hazel eyes. She began to cry, her throat was becoming sore and she wasn’t used to the hard ground and the flash of lightening coloring the sky inverted.

Her sobbing in the rain attracted sounds. She was by the forest side—a very horrible thing to be when you were 8 pounds of fresh meat and soft baby bones. Her thin, curly hair became stiff in the rain as her continuously crying attracted the chatter of hungry raccoons snooping around the place. They clawed at the bundle.

Suddenly, a flash of brilliant white emerged from the bushes. Pearly fangs sunk into the scrub of the gray raccoon and tore it to bits. A pack of wolves—about 6 or 7, surrounded the area in hunting, looking for bigger prey than a simple raccoon.

Picking at the bundled up baby, one of the smaller wolves lunged at her, tearing the blankets off of her and shredding it to pieces. The pups surrounded the baby and yelped as the mother wolf held them back. She never had seen anything like this. It had an odd smell. Her tongue caressed the baby and it tasted…oily. The other wolves were about to tear the infant to shreds, hungry for a pound of meat to devour. The larger female, who was gray but had a black and white stripe running down her muzzle, went by the name “Skylight.” She was the alpha female, with two of her pups already killed by poachers.

She then recognized the smell. A blast of fire and lightening brightened up the night in her memory, blood gushed everywhere and her adolescent pups went tumbling down with only the two younger ones escaping in her jaws. She snarled, her teeth ready to clamp down on the baby’s soft neck, however Moonstone (another female), defended the baby and bared her teeth. After a long moment of staring and snarling, Skylight nodded and flattened her ears while Moonstone picked up the naked baby and carried her into the depths of the forest.

The pack was the Air Star pack of the south of the forest, a complex network of almost two dozen wolves that were then divided into smaller packs. Raito and Skylight were respectively the alpha male and female, River was Beta wolf, while Ocean-Berry, Raga, Estella and Rocky were the main pack and Moonstone was the omega and Luna and Celeste were the pups. They carried the human baby into the forest where ripped up leaves, torn trees and a thin watering hole resided.

The other wolves surrounded it in a daze. The smell was unfamiliar to everyone but Skylight, her eyes glittered yellow as she licked the baby clean from the muddy rain. Like a mother, she gently but firmly tore of the blankets and allowed the baby to snuggle close to her in her spiny, gray fur. Just nearly a year old, the baby could on twist onto its fur.

The wolves sat around and howled as the baby suckled on Skylight’s nipples, giving her the strength from mother’s milk. It was now a new destiny for all of them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~17 Years Later~~~~~~~~~
It was spring and the birds were flittering about, deer were running about in the open spaces in the forest and the wolves were hunting. The pack dashed into the forest, chasing down a large, fat deer. Ratio was leading the pack with Skylight right beside him and a little behind him, River was second while Ocean-Berry, Celeste, Luna, Moonstone and Coral hunted the deer.
Coral was now a strong woman. Her skin was brownie and her hair was thick, long and curly and her eyes were intense yellow-hazel. Her nails were like claws now, strong, long and sharp, her teeth were yellowish but still healthy with no cavities and her canine teeth and jaw bones became sharp and strong enough to tear through bark.
Her ears were slightly pointed and she wore the furred remains of the older wolves that died of old age. Her body was scantily covered, only her breast and part of her back was covered in wolf hide and fur and her cunt and part of her legs were also covered with hide and fur. Around her neck were claws and teeth of animals and around her ankles were furred ankle bracelets. From a distance she’d look like a wolf.
*Surround* Ratio ordered in a snarl.
They leaped onto the deer and tore it down, ripping through its flesh like flimsy papers.
*Alphas eat first* Skylight warned. Ratio dove into the flesh and so did Skylight. Coral waited patiently, sitting on all fours like her lupine counterparts.
After Skylight and Ratio devoured their mouthfuls, River ate. Only a little chunks of course. Then the rest of the pack ate.
Coral tore the flesh with her nails and then swallowed it whole without a second thought. She looked at Moonstone and grinned while Moonstone yelped in happiness.
*Holy shit* Luna warned, she sniffed the air. Coral continued to feast; her lean muscle was stretching slightly from tearing the deer’s thick hide.
A gunshot was heard. Birds flew for safety. The pack began to dart away. Coral finished up her portion and stood on two legs and began to sprint with the pack. They retreated back into the forest and headed for the den. Ratio looked around and twisted his ear left. The gunshot was from the west forest.
Sharp slicing was heard and leaves fell down. Coral was nervous, ready to sprint. A shout was heard.
*NO!* Skylight howled. *Get back*
Coral didn’t wait. Her limbs stretched as she darted from the den in one single leap. Regular humans could not have jumped a great 8 feet into the air and foreword. Due to the strength that wolves usually had, Coral learned it, her sense were acute and her reflexes were just a great as a wolves—probably better. She ran into the leaves with Moonstone frantically following her.
Coral hid in the undergrowth. Two men, probably in their mid-twenties were talking and chattering.
*Who are they?* Coral yelped to Moonstone.
*Humans…* Moonstone shuddered.
Coral looked at them. One of them had blue eyes and bright blonde hair, tall and muscular and lean, while another one was shorter, it little squat but still of decent height, Indian like skin and dark, curly hair.
Coral’s eyes glittered.
*Don’t approach them* Moonstone warned.
Coral didn’t want to. She didn’t need to.
