War and Sex

Sorry no sex yet, but this gives you a feel for the main character.

Inspired by the Movie “300” and some comics I’ve read while growing up.

There were so many of them. Every Persian stood shoulder to shoulder and shield to back. There were beast and creatures that no Greek has ever seen, except on the field of battle. They were fierce, dedicated and loyal to no ends. Their faces were beaming with hatred and their mouths so hungry for Spartan blood, they salivated. The beat of their footsteps could be heard like a great storm brewing over the vast sea. The rhythmic pounding of their sword against their shields sounded like the thunder of Zeus himself.
Finally, they charged, looking like the waves of the sea.
The battle had begun.
The Spartans were outnumbered five to one, but they showed no fear nonetheless. They ran courageously to the battlefield quickly spilling as much blood as any mere man could. Ares would have been proud.
One warrior stood out among the rest of his Spartan brethren. Not in physical aspects, armor, or bravery. But, in the way his face was grinning with an untainted beam of bloodlust. He shielded himself and others with the utmost precision and swung his sword like the god of war himself. His movements were cocky as if he mocked death, taunting it to take him. Years of having to live on nothing more than his physical endurance of pain, speed, and cunning, made his motions look more like a dance rather than an act of violence.
“Come Persian filth! If you want Aristo’s blood you will have to earn it.” He mocked at three Persian warriors that stalked their way towards him. He shrugged the Spartans on his flanks to be gone.
“Leave me, brethren, I shall send them to Hades myself”
The two knew better than to not follow his command, knowing that his wrath was one that would even rival Zeus’. More afraid of Aristo than the many legions of the foe army, they left else were to find their kill.
“Come!” Aristo shouted, gripping his shield and gladius tighter. He flexed his muscles ready for their attack, which all three of them did with such amazing accuracy and ferocity that any normal mortal would’ve feared for his life. But, Aristo merely charged them. He threw his gladius, impaling the closest enemy. After blocking the first attack, he unsheathed his dagger and countered with a quick thrust to the Persian’s neck instantaneously dropping him to the floor where his fellow solider was bleeding to death. His gaze immediately turned to the last of the three, his nearly sadistic smile widening.
Aristo mocked him by throwing his shield unto the ground and sheathing his dagger. They circled each other. Aristo wrenched his gladius from the Persian corpse. He could see and smell the fear that emitted from the warrior’s body. It only made him snicker.
“Come…your comrades await you near the shores of the rive Styx”. He mocked him and did a very good job at it. The Persian attacked stupidly, letting his anger get the best of him. His swing was wild and easily dodged. Again, Aristo laughed before pushing the warrior face first into the blood soiled dirt. A leisurely downward swing and his head rolled off into the ranks.
“Remember to tell the souls who is responsible for your arrival. Aristo, son of the great Sparta!” He whispered to the pile of carcasses.
“Ares, Artemis, I offer this sacrifice to you” he said pointing the tip of his sword over the fighting Persian army. As soon as Aristo’s sword came down a spear and arrow landed beside him.
“Thank you for your blessing” he said arching his head to the sky.
Aristo gathered his shield and strolled towards the battle as a man would into a garden. It would be his garden, a garden of destruction and corpses that he would water with the blood of countless Persians.
