The Story Of Sarah (Original)
"Her name was Sarah. She was what I could never have...Let me tell you my sad tale,She was born to break my heart..."
Her heart was frozen for years...years before she came to that school. But they didn't know that. They didn't care to know... Sadness surrounded her like a second skin...but I was the only one who could see it apparently. She was cold normally, like ice.Though she looked like Fire. Curly hair the color of an inferno sunset. Eyes the color of blazing emeralds. A mouth to inspire passion. A body to cause trouble.A face to bring Love. A beauty to start madness...She was only 14. They called her a frigid bitch, an ice queen who will never melt. It was mostly the cuckholded boys who said that though. Still, she kept to herself. The girls were subtle in their cruelty...They ignored her.
Oh me? I'm just a boy. One of the few that never dared to approached her. I'm not worthy, I am a peasent. And she is a Goddess. But that didn't stop me from watching over her. From hiding and following her in the shadows in the neighborhood. She was almost home, when the boys came a sniffin'. She ignored them like usual...until one of them got aggressive and gripped her arm.She froze like a deer in headlights. Normally I would just leave well enough alone. But this was my Goddess...ahem! the Goddess...they were threatening. I don't know what came over me...
I swiftly grabbed my slingshot from my worn back pocket, grabbed a sharp white stone from the ground...I aimed at the target, and let that stone streak towards destiny... It struck the offender right in the head, he dropped like a sack of potatoes. When the pack saw that the leader was down, they split,no loyalty to be found. He was not dead unfortunately...but he was out.And so she ran. Not curious in the least on who saved her. I was too swift in the shadows anyway...
And so it was like that for months. Me chasing them off, away from her, with sharp stones from the shadows. Not once did she glimpse me...But I guess she was grateful for my chivalry. And so I guess she wanted to give me a gift... But it was her gift that showed me her darkest secret. My life was never going to be the same again after that night...
It started when she ran home that Friday. After I chased them off again from the shadows, their yelps ringing in my ears. I saw a little piece of paper where she stood just seconds before... I snuck over after her fire tresses were long gone. I picked it up and started reading..."Come to my address...you know where it is...at 12:00 tonight, and then look up. This is my gift to you, my mysterious, chivalrous knight..."
So...what did you think that I would do? I went of course.... Her letter the siren's call leading me to my doom. I arrived not a minute late. And I looked up, the full moon my light...and I saw a vision. She was the vision that branded my eyes forever...I saw Her. I looked upon her with her shields down totally. She was dancing, a dance of passion in her white nightgown. Graceful, swirling movements calling out to anyone who saw them...Right in front of her bedroom window for all the
world to see.But the only one who saw was me... I was so wrong though. She was moving swiftly, bold in her moves. Then the moon's rays caught her face and unshrouded her glistening tears...She smiled a wary sunrise when she saw me, even as the liquid crystals rolled down her creamy pale skin. And I knew, even as the shadow in her room took shape, not everything is as it seems... She was in danger.
The light illuminated the shadow...it was a 40 yr. old man... A man with rage and lust in his maddened green eyes.A dangerous angry sneer twisting his pale face into a monster. His hair was a flame whipping behind him as he rushed towards her and ravaged her mouth with his own. She dared to struggle against him, she tried to kick him where it hurts... It only enraged him further. He growled and smashed his fist into her face... The blood flying towards the window even as she fell screaming "Daddy" from her ruined mouth...
You wonder why the police didn't show up, why some neighbor didn't call. It was because he had method in his madness...He thoroughly soundproofed his entire house. I was lucky to have been blessed with keen hearing, a sharp eye, and perfect aim....Instinct took over when I saw the dragon of her life mauling her, raping her....her screams of pain, his roars of pleasure racing to the sky of my ears. The next thing I knew I took out my lucky stone....a razor sharp piece of obsidian glass. It would be the most deadly rock that ever graced my slingshot...I was ready. He came naked to the window, her blood on his fists, mouth, and nether regions... A sated and cruel smile on his face. The silence was electric. He spied me in the moonlit street... And a knowing look came to him saying to me "What can you do about it? You are weak... I took something you can never have
now." He turned away thinking me harmless... How wrong he was.
I took a deep breath and let that stone fly, All I heard was shattering glass and screams, All I saw was the bloody hole in the back of his head....I never saw the frozen shocked look on his face as he fell down dead. She came into my line of sight, naked and as shattered as the broken window...She was still a Goddess in my eyes, my heart beat only for her...Never did I think that she would do what she did next....
Her dull and lifeless eyes spotted a jagged piece of glass on the hardwood floor. She picked it up, but I did not see it.All I saw was her grief stricken face. Then suddenly out of the blue, she screamed....She screamed like the damned...then my scream of "NOOOOOOOOO!" followed suit .... For she cut her elegant throat with what I did not see.She ended her life right in front of
me....my mind splintered.
The Police....I don't know what time they came. They found me sobbing like a little baby rocking like I would rock forever in front of her house. They tried to pick me up,tried to talk to me,tried to help me... But I fought like a wild thing, I cursed like the mad. All I could say was SarahSarahSarahSarah....Like a broken record. So now here I am, in this nice soft white room...barely hanging onto my sanity to tell you this story....The story of my Goddess....The story of Sarah....SarahSarahSarahSarahSarah......
