Sube y Baja, Bias and Playgrounds

Sube y Baja, Bias and Playgrounds

< b>Summary: They were obviously discriminated against for being who they were, despite that, they wanted and needed one another. It was who they were, it was what they needed. Aki and Kei had found each other through their parents' acquaintances. Kei was a few years older than Aki, but they got along perfectly throughout their entire life. Being friends meant other things to them, until they realized their friendship was much more than just friendly. Caught in the headlights of bias and hate toward them, they hid whenever they could to steal a few kisses, caresses, to love each other when they could. Kei's Parents finds them at one point.. and sends him away- Basic Training for the Marines, he would be crushed- easily. What they hadn't had in mind was the war becoming more and more in need of soldiers, and their only son ... is sent away.

To start myself off! “Sube y Baja” is a teeter-totter in Spanish.

The inspiration for this fic is… rather difficult to explain; in fact I have absolutely no idea where I’m going with this. The first chapter is suppose to be a little bit odd and obviously it’s going to seem as though this whole story is going to run into the ground, which it may, I’m just hoping it wont.

Other notes? Well this is my… first time writing a bit of a fic here; I’m going to work on some sort of Fan Fiction instead of just originals. I’m planning on writing a shitload of stuff on here only because I can :]

I don’t need a beta; I’d rather keep my stuff to myself until I decide to post it. Besides, I go over what I wrote a zillion times before and after I post it, which means I catch most of my mistakes. So… Yeah, happy reading

--Sube Y Baja: Bias and Playgrounds

Eyes were wide and staring. How was he to be expected to smile, entertain those around him when he was so damn alone, when everything he had ever wanted, ever needed was taken away from him. He hated the stares of sympathy he received, he hated the people that were around him, he hated the way those about held each other, weeping for his loss, but not particularly caring for who he had lost, what he had lost, how he had lost it.

Why, Why now, Why here? Why this way? Why Why Why, the question of the century. Why?! Damnit why.

To be or not to be, that is the question. To love, to hate, or to stay alone in misery, that is the question. To trust, to understand, or to stay alone in misery, that is the question. To be, or not to be, that is the question. Oh why, such beautiful tragedies pulling at our hearts, oh why, soul of the heavens had this fate come upon such a wonderful young man, oh why, world of terror and author of tragedies, why why, Why for my love?

He sat there, the clouds looked like they were going to threaten to spill over. He stared, hearing the incessant chatter of those around him. He stared as his whole body trembled and jerked about. The previous days, he had been vomiting uncontrollably, trying to get himself to shut down without resulting to the oh-so-tempting suicide. He was trying, trying so hard to forget, trying so hard to understand exactly what was going on, what had happened and what was going to happen now that all he had ever wanted, all he had ever worked for was taken away? Deep voices rumbled like thunder, while the shrill wails of the women around him stared at his impending body.

He was going to die, he was going to die, he was going to die. They acted like they cared, acted as though everything that had happened was indeed a tragedy to them. They didn’t care, they told him that he was wrong while he still had it, they told him that he was going against god, they told him that he was disgusting and dishonorable, they told him that they would banish him from their world, they told him that they could so easily beat him to death if the preacher so willed it. But now? Now they were acting as if all of those things had happened and they were trying so very hard to make up for their own sins. They didn’t care, they never cared, they couldn’t care.

They were incapable of doing so.

Hello Tomorrow, Goodbye To Yesterday.

Please take it away.

His body shook and he felt bile bubbling in the back of his throat again. He slouched forward and sighed slightly, squeezing his eyes shut and letting a low sound of sadness pass his lips. He felt like his heart was crumbling, an unforgiving weight pressing down on his chest, constricting his breath. They all looked on, staring as his body contorted and fell forward again, resting on the cold ground, but it was oh-so-comforting right now. A warm embrace, comforting words and… a drop of rain.

Oh rain. Rain was his savior, hours of rain, days of rain, months of rain. Please give him rain and bring his love back to him. Please take mercy on his soul and save him from this ongoing hell, please please, please take these people away from him and make his pain forgotten, anything, anything at all just make him forget, make him forget, he’s begging to forget, praying to forget.

Forget. Please forget.

And just like that, he remembered. He remembered everything and everyone else forgot about him- everyone else left him to himself so they could enjoy this rain.

Figures stand beneath the rain in such a romantic manor. Whenever rain fell over the town, all of the couples in the city would rush out side and embrace each other, bathing themselves of sin, and falling into the ones of those they chose to love for the time. He stood alone, staring at pretty girls being covered by the bodies of larger males, nuzzling into their hair and whispering pretty words into their ears. He stood alone; staring at the others who watched the lover’s embrace, kiss, love one another in this city of peace and tranquility. He stood alone, staring at the sky that was darkened, clouds rumbling overhead and threatening to spill surges of energy on those who were alone, those who didn’t have stronger males to wrap themselves in.

He stood alone. He stood alone just like he would always stand alone, banished to damnation because of who he was, what he loved… who he had loved. His whole body was numb with the feeling of emptiness; threats of killing his very soul seemed to resound throughout his body. He was going to be sick, he was going to be sick alone with no one to comfort him while his body rebelled against him, fighting to kill him off so his own sadness would escape him though death. His eyes spilt tears much like the sky rained, much like water fell to the ground, he fell to the ground.

His whole world turned black, he wasn’t alone any more, the lovers had seen his body crumple to the ground, and rushed to help, some praying to the sky as they watched their neighbor slip in and out of consciousness. The rain was falling harder, bleeding through the sea of people and onto his clammy face. His body was suddenly burning, he was on fire, he was dying and it served him right. So young, he felt so old, his life- though unfulfilled- had been filled with something he couldn’t place as happy, he had been filled with anguish and torture, angst and pain. He welcomed this stony death with open arms, sickness overwhelming his limbs as he heard a distinct voice, such a familiar voice, a voice he had lost months ago.

“You’re finally coming to me, my love, my love, oh, how I have missed you.”

----A/N

I am working on the next chapter as you read! Wonderful, I know. This was meant to be short, an extremely short introduction, please keep in mind this is not how the whole story will be, in fact most of it will be very happy, warm, sunshiney, calming and gorgeous

Full of boy love.

Everyone loves boy love.
