HammerFall
Prologue
The Warlock of HammerFall
Long silver hair flowed down over his bloodstained armor. A sinister smugness rested easily upon the lips of the HammerFall knight known as Mikael Stormblade. His long sword drenched in the blood of his comrades. Lightning flashed in the air as the sky darkened. Only two Knights of HammerFall stood upon the battlements, and one of them was using dark magery to summon forth an unnatural storm. The winds came wildly blowing down over the plains from the Hills in the Black Easts. The wind whipping wisps of pitch black hair into the face of Mikael's last oponnent; Mikael's own silver strands flowing behind him as he strode through the broken and fallen bodies of enemy and allies.
Mikael's sapphire eyes gazed with apathy upon the upset and badly injured Niklas Sundine, Captain of the HammerFall Knights. The armor of the other knight was no different from the armor that Mikael wore. The recent battle had stained and dented parts of their platemail.
Mikael held his sword pointed towards his old comrade. "Now you shall die for your ignorance."
Niklas asked in shock and rage, "How?!! How could you betray your own kingdom, Mikael?"
His answer was a harsh laughter that obviously had cut Niklas to the depths of his soul. The Warlock advanced arrogantly towards Niklas. His hand gripped onto the other's long, silky black locks. He sniffed with clear disdain as he held the weakened warrior. His lips pressed with repugnance against Niklas. Often they had interlocked together before this moment. But never had Niklas seen such searing hatred in those depths of blue. The tongue forced it's way down the back of Niklas' throat as Mikael held him paralyzed upon the battlements with the burning look in his eyes. Rain pelted against them; stinging their already wounded bodies. Then Niklas gasped as he felt the sword stab deeply into his chest. Blood squirted against him. Niklas almost fell to his knees; but the hand in his long black hair held him up. Mikael pulled away from the kiss; his mouth bearing the blood that the Knight of HammerFall had coughed up into the warlock's orifice.
He let the dying warrior fall from him. His black leather boots crunched down upon the fallen with apathy as he strode away from the battlements. The stormwinds raged about him; causing his silver hair to flow in every direction as he ignored several strands of silver hair batting against his smooth, flawless face of porcelain white. The few splashes of blood on his face only enhanced his musculine beauty as he strode towards the Black East.
Mikael did not see the words on the dying lips of Niklas; his former lover. If he had turned back he would see Niklas label him as Warlock, betrayer. And if he had would Mikael even have cared now. Only Mikael Stormblade would know the answer to such a question.
