Chapter 1: The murders & the kidnappings.
Cornelius' P.O.V
My name is Cornelius Swanson, and i am 13 years old. I have a little sister named Emily Swanson, Which is 7 years old. Anyways, enough about me, heres my story.
I awoke to screaming. I did not know where it was coming from, but i was too scared to get up. Then i heard my sister scream, so i shot out of bed and ran into her bedroom, and was shocked to see a black cloaked figure standing over her. About 5 seconds after the black figure flew out the window. I grabbed Emily out of her bed and ran into my parents room. I stood at the doorway shocked, with Emily in my arms. There was blood everywhere. I covered Emily's eyes so she wouldn't be scared. I ran downstairs. Our parents were dead. I ran down the street screaming.
About 2 days after, Emily and I ended up in a foster home. They treated us okay, but not like our parents did, it was different. About a month in the foster home, Emily knew what had happened, and we were both really upset. We stuck together as much as we could, because we were the only things that eachother had left. One night i awoke to a black cloaked figure standing over me. (Just like the one that was standing over Emily the night our parents were killed). Before i could scream, he had one hand over my mouth, and his other hand on my arm. He whispered something into my ear.
"Come with me, We have your sister, You will be safe with us"
before i knew it he was flying into the air with me in his grip. I was both scared and relieved to be away from that foster home, so i didnt not even bother to struggle. I watched as the city turned into trees, and lakes, and then finally into mountains.
"where are we going?" I asked
"We are almost there, dont worry" He answered.
We flew over about 5 different mountains, untill we finally came into the view of a huge castle.
"ahh, there it is" he said as he went towards it and then landed on the roof and let go of me.
"walk" He said ponting towards the doors. I didn't even question his word, i just walked towards the doors. We walked inside the castle. It was huge and a little bit creapy. We walked down a huge hallway and got to a staircase.
"Go up the stairs" he said to me pushing me a little forwards.
We walked up the staircase and down a few more hallways, untill we finally got to a set of big doors.
"Here we are" Said the creapy guy.
We walked inside and he sat down on a chair and pulled me onto a chair beside him. I looked around to see if i could find Emily, i seen her on the other side, and i smiled relieved that shes okay, and she smiled back.
Everyone in the meeting took down their hoods, and they were really pail. I looked around. I was freaked out. I looked over at Emily and she was crying. I got up but then i was pushed back down onto my seat.
"Greetings all vamps" Said the guy at the front. "I would like to introduce our two new members of our family, Cornelius and Emily Swanson" he said.
The two that brought us both here grabbed our arms and brought us to the front of everyone. Emily was terrified. I hugged her and she cried into me.
"There parents were killed by the werewolves" said the head vamp. "So were going to raise them" he added. "now take them to their rooms" he said.
The two that brought us grabbed us once again and took us out of the huge room. We walked down the hallway once again, and then down another couple of hallways. We finally got to one of the rooms.
"This is yours Emily" Said the more taller one. He brought her into the room and closed the door.
"this way" the other one said to me. we walked about another minute and finally came to the room.
He opened the door and pulled me inside and then closed the door behind us. He locked it. I was scared.
"Why did u lock it?" i asked nervously
"So you don't escape" He answered.
He finally left the room and locked it once again. I tried to open it, but it would not budge. I gave up and sat on the bed. I looked around the room. It was huge. I saw and window and walked over to it and tried to open it, but it also would not budge. I finally layed in the bed and curled up under the covers, and wondered what Emily was doing. I finally fell asleep.
