Chapter One

~~~~~~~~
Dark black clouds cover the night sky the rain falling hard down towards the city below. A man on a tall building looks out to the horizon watching nothing in particular yet taking everything in. His long black trench coat covering his six foot and three inches body floats with the wind. Except for his large leathery black wings that have many scares across them. His body large body is not large but muscular though not overly so yet his shoulders are broad. He turns suddenly, dark blue eyes locking on my own. His shoulder length hair his plastered to his head from the rain outlining his slim pail face a thick red line coming up from under his coat ending across his left cheek with a point – like a line tattoo. Its strange, but he seems just as strange. It then that I notice his lips are moving as if speaking to me, yet know words are heard.
Then he moves again stepping on to the ledge I watch in horror as the tears fall from his eyes the words still coming from his soft lips.
Then he falls.
I run to the edge but it’s too late I watch as he falls to the ground. . .
~~~~~END DREAM~~~~~

Beep, beep, beep.

I awake with a start sitting straight up my white longish hair falling around my face. I’m surprised that my breathing is fast and hard but I’m even more surprised to find tears in my pail blue eyes.

Beep, beep, beep.

I wipe my eyes and chuckle to myself, “What a strange dream.” I throw my legs over the side of the bed hitting the sleep button on my white chicken alarm clock. Standing up I start humming to myself a song that I seem to hum whenever I am uncertain or freighted it calms me. “Hmm, mmm”.

Walking into the bathroom I let my old gray track pants fall to the ground as I turn the taps to the shower on high the room quickly steaming up.

A large temple sits in the middle of a large field full of beautiful flowers. In side the temple is a large red carpet leading up ten stairs to a seat. A seat were a women sits, her pink eyes watching the man before her with caution. Her pink dress reaches the floor though this comes as know shock with her small frame and height only reaching five foot and five inches Her large pink wings almost as long as her hair.

“You must get him and bring him to me.”

The man before her stands with his head up high at the bottom of the stairs his eyes frozen of any and all emotion, “Understood.” He bows his head in respect before he stands to his full height of six foot and three inches his spiky black hair lighting up as the sun hits it through one of the many stained windows.

He disappears with a soft breeze that passes through the temple. “Is it wise to trust that demon.”

She sighs not turning to see the man that had appeared by her side, “There is no one else.”

“But him!” The tall man next to her snipes his silver and blue armor clinking slightly as his silver wings move. She turns and smiles at him making him falter in his anger, “Serenity?” He says in a softer, kinder tone as he runs his large hand through his blue hair.

“You know why it must be him?” His silver eyes watched as she looked at the spot were the demon had stood moments ago.

“Of course I do.” Was his simple reply clearly not happy about it.

“Then trust me when I say there is no one else that can.” The small knowing smile on her pink lips does not go unnoticed.

“I’m late!” I screamed grabbing my bag stopping at the door to put on my white runners that seemed to clash with my black school uniform but it wasn’t like I cared. “I’m so freakin’ late!” I say again as I run out the door making sure to lock it before running down the hall of the apartment building like a maniac.

_ -_-_ Second later _-_-_

I run out of the five-story apartment building and begin running towards the school, “Tsuki!!!?” I pull to a stop watching as my best friend comes walking over from a cross the street, “Why are you running?”

“Why?” My jaw drops. Is she an idiot? “Because Anna I - WE” I emphases the ‘we’, “Are late for school! That’s why!” I nod proud that I finally had one over her.

“But it’s Saturday Tsuki?” I fall to the ground crying

“Why?” She laughs at me.

“Your so silly Tsuki.” I look up at her my white blond hair flying with the autumn wind.

I jump back up, “Lets get COFFEE!” I through my arm up in the direction of the small coffee shop on my street.

She shacks her head her light brown hair shacking with it her short yellow dress blowing in the wind. “Ok lets! Beside you look like you need it.”

“Well what do you expect when I got up at SIX on a Saturday!” She smiles

“And whose fault is that?” She questions as we begin walking towards the coffee shop, “Hmm?”

I glare at her, “Not cool.” She shacks her head at me.

“Oh! Have you done your assignment yet?” I shack my head

“Of course not. I think it’s stupid!”

“How can you say that Tsuki?” She throws her arms up to in fraise her next point, “It’s a story about love!” I could tell she was about to go into ‘Romantic love story mode so I quickly cut her off.

“But they both died in the end, how is that a love story?” She pocket her tong out

“Your such a boy!”

I grind, “Well – yeah!”

_-_-_ Hours later_-_-_

“Alright! I’ll meet with you tomorrow Anna.” She paused giving me ‘the look’

“You better!”

“I will!” She smiled nodding then turned and left.

I waited for a few moments watching as she walked into the sunset. I sighed when she turned the corner, “Time to go home I guess.”

To an empty house

I sighed again. Well there’s no good in getting depressed.

I threw on my smile and began walking back down the street with my head up high and a bounce in my step.

Eyes from the shadows watched as Tsuki walks down the long street and heads towards the dark ally that he walks through twice a day. The sun begins to disappear and the sky gets darker but Tsuki stays oblivious to the eyes as he hums’s to himself arms swigging from side to side.

“Tsuki.”

Tsuki freezes at the sound of a deep voice a voice that sounds seductive yet terror in one. . .
