My Untimely Death
My Untimely Death
High above the obscured horizon it dangled in all its eccentric glory, bathing the darkened land in its vibrant yet cold glow.
Gin was envious; as her dilated steel blue eyes gazed up longingly at the full moon that glimmered intensely in the clearness of that mid June night. It was strangely understandable to her that one could be so jealous of such an inanimate object; it was lifeless, dead to the world below just as she wished to be.
She knew what she had done was wrong, some may even have called it evil but she didn't give a fuck anymore, to care would be human but Gin knew that she was to far gone. To be human is withhold some sort of sanity and she no longer possessed that, nor did she wish for it.
The wet squishy gurgling started up again; Gin sighed and looked towards the slumped figure hidden within the shadows of the rusted scrap metal shed it leaned against.
Sometimes Tane was just too stubborn for her own good.
Both of them knew that she was going to die, but the girl, even as her body had gone uncomfortably numb due to the blood loss still refused to allow her self the pleasure of death.
Gin rolled her eyes towards the heavens as she slowly pulled her self to her feet enjoying the sounds of her knees popping back into place with a sickening crunch, the disturbed smirk fell back into place on her mouth as she walked closer to her once best friend.
Tane let out another soggy murmur as her body finally reacted to the long gash across the side of her neck, she'd been lucky that it hadn't of nicked her jugular but right know she couldn't give a fuck. Gin would never have let her die that easily, no the other girl wanted to see the pain and suffering etched into her sickly pale features. More of the warm sticky substance that clung to both her and Gin's clothing started to dribble down her lips; red splotches dotted her vision making the snarling image of her friend harder to see.
Even in the black of the night that surrounded the two, Gins' oddly shaped cat eyes could still make out the shaking silhouette; the sloshing bubbling begin once again. The unstable girl had a hard time fighting back her anger when she recognized it to be the convulsions of laughter and not pain.
A dark animalistic rumble ripped its way from the back of Gin's thin throat as she sent her right blood stained sneaker into the stooped beings side, a warm flicker rippled in her unresponsive orange eyes when Tane's body slumped over.
A watery cough was torn from Tane; she hated the feeling of the small eruption in her chest, she hated the fact that it only brought more of the tangy metallic taste to her mouth, but what she hated most was the pleasure it fashioned on Gin's cruel face.
"What do you find so god damn funny?"
Tane sat nothing as she tried to push her body into a seated position but failed miserably due to the fact that her dominate arm had been broken in Gin's little torture fest and was now resting over the large slash carved into her torso.
""¦.Do you remember the picnic we had last summer? We spent almost two hours destroying the grocery store looking for Twinkies"¦.still never found them."
A warm breeze passed by blowing the black strands of hair away from Gin's eyes as they once again gazed up at the startling attractive moon; she remember that day thought only bits and pieces it was all kind of fuzzy.
It was June then too.
The shook her head and then once again sent her crimson smudged shoe into the other girls side this time a loud crack was heard and Tane couldn't help but let out a small whimper, mainly because she knew that it most likely was her rib cage breaking.
And yet she still laughed while blood pooled around her shaking form; Gin was growing tired of this, it was so much fun to watch her prey die slow and painfully knowing that there was no way out of it but sometimes it came to a point where it grew boring though she'd never admit it. This wasn't the case of Tane, something about this girls unbreakable will just pissed the fuck out of her, she wanted to be the one to make her scream and break just as she her self had. There had been screaming, yes lots of screaming and blood two very good combinations in Gin's eyes yet the girl had yet to break, she actually believed that in some way that if she endured all this pain she could bring her most beloved friend back from the brink of insanity.
"Idiot."
Tane allowed a small smile to pass her blooded and bruised lips as she tilted her head for better access on viewing Gin who was no doubt glaring at like she was the Anti-Christ.
"You always called me that."
A glimmer of a memory came rushing back to Gin even though she tried her hardest to fight it, memories caused emotions and those were only for the weak. She recalled it being spring, were the buds on the trees were just starting to bloom and frequent rain storms plaged the land. It was during one of those storms Tane had decided against her better judgment to go and play in the saturated grass; Gin had called her an "˜unbelievable idiot' then.
"Shut up and die already!" snapped Gin as she quickly spun on her heels as to not look at the beaten girl below know that it would only cause more of those damn remembrances of the past she wished to forget.
""¦Gin"¦what did I do to make you hate me so much?"
Tane knew she was going pass out pretty soon; yet she had to know why the Gin she loved and cherished had turned and demoted the friendship they had shared as nothing.
Gin was confused; she had no way of answering that question as she racked her brain for some sort of conclusion but still came up an empty feeling and more jaded memories so she settled for staying silent and perplexed.
"What ever it was I just wanted to say I'm sorry."
Tane's vision had gone blurry with black fuzziness starting to cover the sides which is why she did see the foot aimed at her head.
The impact sent the limb reeling back with a quick snap; more blood splattered across Gin's clothing making her raise her lip in a snarl of disgust.
"Why wont you just die already!!? What do you want!?"
Tane's mouth turned up in a sad grin as tears started to trace patterns down her unrecognizable cheeks.
"Just tell me its okay to die."
...The End...
