Broken Promises chapter 1

__________Broken Promises Season 1________

The last two years of my life have been hell.
Why she did it? I’ll never know.
But one thing is for certain.
She’ll never hurt me again.
She’ll never hurt me again with Broken Promises.

[Pre Chapter. Our online meeting.]

______________Pre Chapter_______________
I remember like it was yesterday. It was December of 2000 when I met her in an AOL Chat room known as Gundam Ballroom. That was my first run in with Jennifer. Jennifer was 18 years old and she lived in South Carolina with her parents.

I myself was living with my dad in Conroe Texas at the time and I just recieved my first powerful computer at the time. It was a early Christmas gift. Anyways I will never forget my run in with her.

It started out as a typical greeting with “Hi.” “How are you?” “ASL?” And then it just boosted from there on in. We talked for awhile and then I met my other friend. That’s is another story.

By the time that we was finished it was pretty late. So I had to add her to my b/l and sign off for the night.

__________________________chapter 1. 3 years into the future._______________

By the time that 2003 rolled around I went through some changes. My Dad was starting to bug me all the time and my Uncle had moved in and out. My friend Jason started visiting me and my seven year relationship with my girlfriend had vanished from out of sight.

The reason for us breaking up is pretty dumb. We had some bad times. But I never thought that breaking up because I was sick and didn’t fell like going to church that day was pretty farfetched.

Oh well she was being controlled by her possessive mother was ruining it anyways.

It was sometime since I heard anything from Jen. I thought maybe she lost all of her internet connections. And my other friend disappeared on me and I never heard from her since.

(1)
Until that fateful day in February when she popped online for the first time in awhile.

I was so happy to see my Jen popup but even more surprised and saddened when she told me that her family moved down here. And it wasn’t exactly a happy move in either.

Her grandfather passed away and they came down to say their final farewell to him. I suppose it wasn’t their intentions that they were to stay down here since they left their nice home in South Carolina.

She was telling me about what she was doing these last to years and she apologized to me about being absent from my I.M. for so long. I told her not to blame herself and I wasn’t mad since she has a life and her com can’t be the center of her attention. She was happy.

I’m a very nice and forgiving person and I treat everyone as I would myself. I guess you can call me soft.

So we talked for three weeks about our life and she was surprised that I was single she was jealous of my relationship with Tiff. And I joked by saying “Well you can have that same love if you want.” She was surprised to here that. I asked her what part of Texas she lived in and I was even more shocked.

She lived 30 minutes from me. So we took our little convo’s from the computer to the phone. Our first phone contact was really awkward as I kept stuttering because I never talked over the phone with a girl that has the same interest. She was also like this.

We got used to each other and started actually talking to each other more and more.
