The Ring
The Ring, she falls
Slips beneath the sea of memories
Never again to slip on my finger
Never again to be a symbol of my love for you.
Never again to represent our love...once so true.
The Ring, she drowns
The water overwhelms it, suffocates it
It sinks to the depths of the River...
It\'s short life is choked away as it rests on the floor....
Forgotten
The Ring, Forgotten
A sacred relic...now tossed to the ages.
To lie at the bottom of the cold, dark River
A passing Memory
A shattered dream....
Alone.
The Ring, she falls
The Ring, she drowns
The Ring, forgotten
The Ring, a symbol of what all gave
Now lies at the bottom of a watery grave.
