Summery:
A lonely wanderer, one who travels the road and only seeks adventure, will come across a foe he can\'t seem to win against. Love! But while he tries to remain true to his life by not getting attached, he can\'t help but try to be as close as the one he has fallen for. How far will he go to stray away from her? Can he overcome even love?
Her life was always so boring. Never an exciting moment here at the castle... Soon to be queen when she finds a husband, she starts to dream about a certain someone who approaches her, and kills her. But when she meets this mystery man, he doesn\'t seem like the one form her dream. While she struggles with her own feelings, she sometimes wonders.... is he hiding something?
Chapter 1: The wanderer\'s life.
Black cloak, black hood, the first thing someone would think is he is insane. How can he wear that in such weather? But the look in his eyes would keep them silent. If they only knew.... He kept his blade hidden, but easily accessable if needed. His hood covered his features, and hid his sapphire colored hair. One would never think he was a great hero in one town, a poor merchant in another, and a mercenary in still another town. He was but a mere traveler. All he wanted was life on the road. Life free to move wherever he chose to move.
Moving from town to town was no easy task. For one, he was always in need of money. His own profits he made were solely for traveling from one place to another where he would look for work doing whatever he could. But it was ok. He never got attached. It was one rule. Never get attached to any person or place. Travel was all he needed. Or so he thought.
He thought back to his last job. He was to kill a very rich merchant. It was hard at the end. He had trusted him so well, even called him a \'friend\', only to be met with his demise. But he never called him friend back, only took advantage of what he got. True, it was killing, but he did it quickly and cleanly. The other was to blame...
As he approached the next town, he saw the castle and smiled. The last kingdom he was in, he had been part of a war and lead his troops to victory several times. He was a hero and got to leave there in a matter of days. He never spent more then a month in any place. Another rule. Don\'t stay in one place too long. He didn\'t want to settle. But the worst were the women.
He was handsome, and well built. Women flocked to him, and would have literially thrown themselves at him had he not kept them at bay. He didn\'t love any of them. They didn\'t appeal to him at all. That was one reason he wore the hood. Another was so that his face couldn\'t be seen in places he didn\'t want it to be seen. Like with his last job, he kept his hood on most of the time. Love was something he didn\'t want. He was a traveler to the end, and he knew women didn\'t want travel so much. But that was all gonna change very soon....
