Summary: A simple demon boy that is basically normal besides the fact he’s a bit eccentric discovers some things about himself what will change his world and life forever. (m/m, light m/f) NC-17
This story belongs to me, and all the characters are mine besides one, Hazzard. He belongs to my good friend Gabby which I partly am doing this for.
(P.S.) Hikaru is a Japanese name, meaning brightness. Hiro is short for Hiroshi, which mean generous, and Ruri has a meaning but I\'m too lazy to go look. ^.^; There are more people that have names with meaning coming up.

“Shit, I’m late! I’m late!!” A boy ran about his room, getting his clothes, plus every thing else he needed. The boy was beautiful; he had a lot of feminine qualities to him. The boy had beautiful brown hair with noticeable hints of red in it. The hair went a few inches below his shoulders. His hair was always parted at the side and tucked behind his ears. The boy’s eyes were a deep, blood red color. He had two piercings on each ear; his ears were pointed in a demon fashion. The boy was not any type of demon, but a normal, mere demon. He was slightly off his rocker, but most demons had a certain twisted thing about them, it ran in their blood. The boy was nice, and very caring.
“Damn it! I’m always late! Oh man! Daisuke is so gonna kill me!” The boy whined as he ran out the door of his nice little white house. It was cute, and even though it was smaller then most houses around the neighborhood, it was worth a lot of money; probably more then most the houses in the neighborhood. There was some sort of magic or something built in with it, the boy didn’t really know, but then again he didn’t really care. He didn’t know where the money had come from to buy this house, all he knew was that it was his mother’s and now his. That too, he didn’t care about.
“Damn myself!! I always start staring at that poster and then I’m always late! I really should take it down!” The boy thought over, “NO! I can’t! I should be ashamed of thinking of taking down the picture of my beloved idol!!” The boy had a picture of a man on his wall. The man was named Hiro. Hiro was the famous Demon Lord, and the boy, had always wanted to meet the Demon Lord. He was constantly fantasizing about meeting him and being him. He had always felt sort of connected to the man but was sure it was only him being a fan.
“Ack! I’m late!!!” The boy screamed, running down the street to where he worked, which was a small coffee shop. His idol had disappeared a year ago, that was the same year his mother died. His loss of his mother was bad enough, now his idol was nowhere to be found! The boy didn’t think his idol was really gone so it took a few weeks for him to realize that his idol was gone, and when it did dawn on him he immediately passed out.
“Ahh!! I’m here! I’m here!” The boy loudly declared his arrival at the small coffee shop. Every on stared at him. The boy just laughed nervously when a sudden shot of pain hit the back of his head. This caused a yelp between pain and surprise.
“Ow! That hurt!” the boy whined and turned to see his best friend, Daisuke, “Dai!? I know I’m late but you didn’t need to hit me!” Daisuke was a fire lizard demon of sorts; he had different types of blood running through him though. He had red and blonde hair, which looked a lot like fire. He had odd looking ears, which did not look like a lizards ears but instead folded forward cat ears. His tail looked like a lizard’s though, it was long and smooth and at the end was a small flame. Daisuke had a nice tan and was very down to earth and laid back, unlike his always late, hyper friend. The boy continued to rub the back of his head while his friend spoke, “Well, you never learn! The only reason why you haven’t been fired it because everybody loves you!”
They were both interrupted by a call behind them, “Hey! Hikaru, Daisuke! I’ve been standing here for hours already! When are you going to notice that I’m here for my morning coffee?” Both boys turned to see a girl. She had blue hair that did as it pleased but looked good on her. She was the type of girl that got every guys attention, with her outgoing attitude to her well formed body. Hikaru gasped and smiled, “Oh, Hey Ruri-chan! I didn’t see you! Ok your regular right? I’m getting it—“ Hikaru had began to turn to make Ruri her coffee when he was interrupted by Daisuke, “Ah, no it’s ok, I was prepared for you. Here, your coffee.” Ruri smiled at Daisuke and they held eyes for a moment before Hikaru brought their attention away from each other, “Oh…why do you guys always stare at each other?” The both glared gently at Hikaru for being so clueless but sighed. The rest of the day they hung our while working.
~*********!*********~
At the end of the day of working, chatting, and having fun they all ran out to go find something fun to do. They had decided to go to Daisuke’s house and hang out, since Ruri’s place was too girl and Hikaru’s place was always a mess. They had started to head towards Dai’s house when Hikaru suddenly stopped. “Ack!! I completely forgot to do something!\" Hikaru grabbed at his face and pulled so though to rip his skin off. Both Daisuke and Ruri stopped and looked back. \"What?\" They spoke at the same time, with the same annoyed tone of voice. \"Ah...nothing really! It won\'t take more then twenty minutes! You guys go ahead and I\'ll be there as soon as I can ok?\" Hikaru spoke with an apologetic tone. They both sighed and the young boy ran off towards his home.
They were all about the same age. Hikaru and Daisuke were nineteen, while Ruri lacked a year behind at eighteen. They were wonderful friends and had fun together all the time. Hikaru being the painfully over hyper and eccentric one, Daisuke being the calm laid back type, and Ruri being in your face with her attitude. They fit perfectly. Often both Dai and Ruri got annoyed with Hikaru but always forgave him.
Hikaru ran down the street to his home. There was a large crowd of people and somewhere in it he heard his name and looked back. The next thing he knew he was being thrown to the ground. He landed with an \'Oomph!\' and immediately started to whine at how it hurt. He looked up to see a tall figure staring down at him. A man, looking to be in his early twenties.
\"Uh...I\'m sorry. I heard my name and looked back. I...uh...didn\'t mean to ru--,\" Hikaru was cut off by the tall stranger walking past him. He felt a surge of anger, \"Hey! I get knocked down and you don\'t even say sorry??\"
The stranger turned to Hikaru, a deadly look was shot at the boy by the stranger\'s amber eyes, \"No. You weren\'t looking where you were going so it is your fault you got knocked down. I will not apologize for something that is not my fault.\" With that the stranger started to walk away again.
Hikaru glared in determination to get an apology from the stranger, \"Hey! That\'s not nice even if it is true! You don\'t care at all that I might be hurt?\"
\"I would care if you were hurt but you are obviously not so I have no reason to care, now if you would be so kind as to leave me alone...,\" The taller man spoke out in annoyance.
\"No! If you don\'t apologize to me I\'m going to start crying!\" Hikaru threatened, the sound of tears coming in his voice. He only got a chuckle in reply. He didn\'t really want an apology, only to get some sort of reaction from the guy. To get past the hard shell. He took a deep breath and fell to the ground and started to cry. The guy turned around and gave the boy in front of him a \'you got to be kidding, right?\' look.
\"Ehh! Ok, ok! Hey I\'m sorry, damn it! Just don\'t start crying! You are making a scene!\" The guy helped Hikaru up and glared when Hikaru easily stopped his crying. \"Damn, kid! You are so lucky we are in public, otherwise I would be pounding you into the ground right now!\" The stranger only got a smile from the boy which pissed him off even more, but he was distracted from his anger when the boy gasped and started freaking out.
\"Oh shit! I promised my friends I wouldn\'t be gone long! They will probably be at my house looking for me and angry as hell! Oh what am I gonna do? I can\'t go home! They will come after me! I\'m in it deep!\" Hikaru whined loudly creating another scene as the stranger started walking away again. Hikaru ran up to him and grabbed on to his arm.
\"OH! You have to help me! I don\'t know what to do!\" Hikaru whined to the taller guy.
\"Sorry kid, your problem,\" The stranger looked down at the pouting Hikaru and felt a stab of sadness for the kid. //Wait. Why the hell am I feeling sorry for him? He is being nothing but a pain!// He glared at Hikaru, \"And let go of my arm or I will hurt you this time.\"
Hikaru let go but continued to pout. Eventually the older guy gave into the boy and let him go home with him. He wasn\'t sure what to do with him then. He only sighed and hoped the night would not be an eternity.
Once Hikaru was solved of his problem of hiding from his friends he realized he hadn\'t introduced himself or been introduced to. \"Uh....What\'s your name, by the way? Mine is Hikaru,\" Hikaru spoke with smiling words. He hoped this meant he had a new friend.
\"It\'s Hazzard. Two \'z\'s,\" The older of the two, Hazzard, replied. His tone showed no interest in Hikaru. He hoped if he continued to not care that the boy would leave him alone.
Hikaru smiled, \"I guess you must have been a hazard!\" Hikaru laughed at his joke and Hazzard only gave a noise of annoyance. Hikaru noticed and apologized, \"Sorry. I guess that was rude.\"
~*********!*********~
Hikaru sat down on a soft couch and sighed, \"This couch is really soft!\" He looked up at Hazzard and smiled. Hazzard couldn\'t help but smile back. The whole time walking home he was poked and prodded questions, but some how, through the whole damn time he had found himself warming up to the boy. There was just something about him that made him impossible to hate. When Hikaru saw the smile his eyes widened and he gawked for a few moments in udder surprise to ever be smiled at by his new friend. Then Hikaru smiled back, a smile even wider and happier then before. Hazzard himself was caught off gaurd by his own smile, but to see the boy\'s smile, so happy by his own he was frozen in amazement.
\"Your apartment is nice, and so clean! Mine is a complete mess! Well, mine is a house but still!\" Hikaru laughed cheerfully, suddenly cutting off Hazzard\'s wonder.
Hazzard shook his head trying to remove the strange feel of disapointment for the moment ruined and removed his jacket. He turned back to looked at the boy, \"Yeah. It\'s a habit, and besides. When everything is dirty and stuff is everywhere I get uncomfortable.\"
Hikaru smiled, noticing a momentary sadness in the older man. He studied Hazzard for a moment. Taking in every inch of him. His lovely blondish gray hair, piercing amber eyes, nicely tanned skin. His body was well built and muscular. Hikaru noted ears, like a dog\'s. He hadn\'t said anything about them but as his eyes traveled down he gasped when he noticed a tail. The long jacket had been covering it from being seen. Hikaru\'s gasp turned into a smiled and asked lightly, \"Hey! Are you like a Dog Demon or something?\"
Hazzard didn\'t reply for a minute, he was taking off his large, black boots. He thought at a moment if he should answer truthfully or lie and say yes. After a few more seconds of taking off his boots he decided. Once they were off he turned back to Hikaru, \"No. I am a Wolf Demon. Actually half, the rest is Were Wolf.\" Hazzard looked down. He felt afraid that the boy would feak out. If you had any Were Wolf blood at all it showed. Even if it only showed as a stronger temper on full moon nights. His blood was half Were Wolf. He knew better then to think people would set it aside. Everyone that knew stopped talking to him. Hikaru watched Hazzard, not replying. He could hear the hint of sadness in his voice and his eyes gave it all away, even though his face did not. The man seemed to be chewing over what he himself had just said.

It had been a couple of hours since Hikaru had left them to go back home to do his \'20 minute\' job he had forgotten. Ruri and Daisuke were watching a movie pigging out on junk food. They had gotten tired of waiting for Hikaru to come and just decided to go ahead and watch the movie they had planned to watch together.
\"I guess he bailed on us. How typical! I bet he didn\'t even want to hang out with us!\" Ruri piped up, quite angrily.
\"No. He probably got side tracked then freaked out because he thought we would kill him,\" Daisuke spoke calmly to Ruri.
\"Yeah, well that does sound like him. He is so stupid! Does he seriously think hiding from us is any better? I mean if he told us why he took so long and apologized we would have forgave him!!\" One thing about Ruri was she had no patience.
\"Yeah, but you know that\'s the way he thinks,\" Daisuke tried to reason. Ruri only sighed and took a handful of popcorn into her mouth and chewed over her frustration. Dai just smiled and returned to the movie they were watching. He gasped slightly and quietly when Ruri rest her head to his shoulder. Daisuke slowly smiled and turned back to the movie.
