Chapter 8


The car was a Aston Martin V8 in a bright green in the driveway. Tobius tossed his bag into the back seat then opens the passanger door for him. "I hope your not afraid of expensive cars."

Aleron gasped and stared at the car in amazement. He never saw a car so beautiful! "W-wow! I...No..No, I'm not." He put his bag in the back seat and blushed as he slide into the passenger side of the car. Tobius shuts the door and gets into the drivers seat and pulls out of the driveway. He drives down the road towards the school. He reached over and rested his hand on Aleron's thigh. Aleron blushed and looked down at Tobius's hand. Nervously inching his fingers over his own. He relaxed agginst the seat. It was really comfortable and the interiar was beautiful. Tobius grins and takes his hand holding it close. He continued to drive as a picture of Tobius with a little girl was clipped to a chain hanging from his rear view mirror. Aleron smiled and blushed horribly. Giving Tobius's hand a small squeeze before noticing the picture. "Who's that?"

Tobius looks and huffs slightly. "Her name is Dali." He stops at a red light. "She's my daughter."

Aleron's jaw dropped. "Y-your daughter?"

Tobius takes off when the light turns green. "Ya. She's 3 now. She lives with her mother." He cracks his neck slightly. "She's the only woman i've ever been with if your worried about it."

"No, I'm not worried..." Aleron's mind was racing with thoughts. He had no idea Tobius was a father. The thought never even crossed his mind. "She's very cute."

Tobius smiles softly. "Ya she is cute. Her mother... was a teacher when i first entered this school. When we started to have sex she got fired from that job." He sighs. Raven looked up from his notes and watched Aleron take his seat next to Miki. He didn't really pay to much attention to what they were doing at the moment since he was just here to take notes for the class. Aleron blinked at Miki and took the note. Hidding it in his lap as he quitely opened it.

Deciding he could think about what to say while he waited for her to come out. She cried softly for a few moments before coming out. She washed her face before stepping out. She looks up at Raven and blushed red quickly walking away from him. She COULD NOT face him right now.

Raven's ears layed back agginst his head lightly. "Miki..." He followed after her. "I wanted to say I'm sorry."

Miki stops and turns to him. "You're sorry? Why are you sorry? It wasn't your dream that was just broudcast to the entire class." She turns away from him and leans against a window over looking the court yard.

He walked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry for the way I've made you feel for so long. I didn't realize...So I am sorry for that." He nodded. "Sure. I'm pretty sure I'll be free tomorrow." He smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist. Walking to class with her. "What time?"

She smiles and rests her hand on his back. "Maybe noonish?" She couldn't help but press her body to his side. She had finally gotten her vampire and she wasn't going to hide how she felt.

Raven's thumb stroked her side gently as he pulled her close. Making sure she stayed close. He nodded. "Sounds perfect."

Miki giggles and lays her head on his shoulder. He smelled of pine and something else that was enticing. She makes small circles on his back. He let a very soft purr slip. He gently pulled away, just enough so he could open the door for her. She giggles and steps in then turns to him. "You should go to your own class. Your older than me."

Raven nodded. "I shall." He pulled out a peice of paper and quickly jotted down a set of numbers and handed it to Miki. "This is my phone number. Text me later tonight?"

Miki takes it and nods. "I will." She stands on her toes kissing his chin since he was a tad too tall to kiss his lips. "Bye." She walked over to her desk and sat down. Raven smiled gently to her and gave her a quick peck on the nose before she went to class. Waving to her before closing the door and heading to his own class.
