Dinner went wonderfully and even if he wasn't able to seduce Daisuike into the bathroom he was still happy.

"Ne. . . Ouji-sama?" He looked over at him smiling softly, "Do you think. . . ano. . ." He looked down not sure how to ask, "Would it be alright. . . If I tried to race this weekend? I- I feel confident that my foot is fine enough to work the pedals and I always got my other foot. My wrist is fully healed. . ." He played with his shirt a bit nervous, afraid Daisuike would say no.

Daisuike was very careful to keep his expression neutral at Ruka's question. He was very glad that he felt good enough to ask about it and was kind of what he'd been waiting for. He put on a thoughtful face just looking at Ruka for a moment.

"I'm not sure. I had plans for us this weekend so we will be out of town for three days. I don't really want you racing in unfamiliar territory." He couldn't help the slow smile and quickly looked away not wanting Ruka to see it and think he was up to something. Even if he was. "I meant to tell you sooner, but we will be leaving in the morning so we need to pack tonight when we get back.

"Oh. . . Okay. . ." Ruka nodded sighing. He was sort of disappointed but he didn't let it show too much on his face. Though he wished he had known about this outing before hand. What if he had plans? Then again all his friends knew Daisuike.

"Where are we going?"

Daisuike shook his head, "Can't tell you. It would ruin the surprise. I've been planning this for . . . well quite a while now actually. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner."

Daisuike glanced at him suddenly feeling a little anxious to reassure his gorgeous lover. "I promise if you don't absolutely love it I'll never do anything like this again."

"What? Did you sign us up for couple's ballroom dancing or something?" Ruka raised an eyebrow at Daisuike wondering why he was so nervous about this. It seemed strange and he really hoped Daisuike didn't do something weird. Though honestly any time they spent together was worth it.

"Ne, don't worry about it. I'll enjoy my time no matter what we're doing. As long as I can pull you aside and have my way with you at some point."

Daisuike smiled at him. It was a nice thought but he had the feeling that once they got there all thoughts of him would be few and far between. He was no competition for the thrill of racing, even as much as he wished he could be. "Anytime you want."

By the time he got them home they were both worn out. "Why don't you go on and get ready for bed. I'll get us packed. It won't take that long."

"I can help pack. Unless you don't want me helping in case that somehow ruins the surprise." He smiled moving to him kissing him gently on the lips. Even as tired as he was, he still wanted to be close to Daisuike. It was too nice to feel him close, to know how loved he was. Even if he was sore.

"I think I might actually go soak in the tub for a while." Kissing his cheek he headed to the bathroom yawning a bit.

Daisuike quickly found the suitcases and started getting out everything he thought they might need for the weekend. He got out a couple of Ruka's nicer outfits just in case they decided to go out for an evening or something. Making sure to pack all the other necessities as well he double checked everything. He didn't want to forget anything.

He rolled his eyes and realized he needed to pack himself some clothes. He was getting too tired. He hated to admit it but this afternoon in the truck had worn him out and he wondered how Ruka was feeling. Once his clothes were together he headed into the bathroom getting out the other items they needed. Seeing Ruka relaxing in the tub was too enticing and once he was done he came back in. Quickly stripping he eased into the tub next to him.

He wrapped his arms around the toned waist pulling him close. "You're not hurting are you?"

"A bit but that's expected. It's well worth it." He smiled kissing his cheek gently laying his head against him stroking his leg. The warmth of the water had been lulling him asleep and he was glad Daisuike had gotten in with him. He nearly had been asleep before the other had gotten in. Last thing he wanted to do was drown in the tub. That would've been embarrassing.

That and it would've ruined Daisuike's plans.

Yawning a bit he smiled twisting to grab a wash cloth lathering it up. "Turn." He smiled started to rub it across Daisuike's smooth skin enjoying the look and feel of it.

"You know you're absolutely beautiful. . ."

Daisuike sighed contentedly and leaned into the feel of Ruka washing him. "Thanks, though you come out on top in the looks department. I'm sorry if I was too rough earlier. I didn't mean to make you sore but you are just too damn sexy to resist."

It made a warm glow suffuse his chest at the knowledge that Ruka thought he was beautiful even as scared as he was. He'd never let Ruka know but sometimes he still wondered what the man saw in him. It was a bit overwhelming after being told for years that he was ugly and stupid to have someone as amazing and gorgeous as Ruka tell him he was beautiful. That ass Hisoka hadn't exactly helped either, playing on his fears like he had. It still made his chest constrict painfully when he thought about it. He wanted to get back at that guy, but had taken Fuji's advice and stayed out of it. For now.

He yawned determined to stop his line of thinking, "We should get out. We both need sleep. It's a four hour drive to get where we are going."

Ruka whined softly not really wanting to stop touching the man in his arms. Wrapping his arms around him and pulling him against his chest he smiled kissing his neck softly. He loved the smell of Daisuike, even if it was just a normal fresh smell or the smell of him right after they had sex. Anything involved Daisuike was perfect to him.

Biting him softly he released him slowly, "Alright. I guess we should get some sleep. Man, almost tempted to get a driver for us and us just relax in the back of a limo or something." He grinned showing him what he honestly meant instead.

Helping him out of the tub he started to dry him slowly, taking in every detail of his lover. There were scars across him that he hadn't been around for but he never asked about them. They didn't matter to him. Hell, the new ones meant little to him. All that mattered was the man under the scars.

Taking his face into his hands he kissed him softly, "I love you Daisuike. No matter what happens to us, no matter what tries to break you or I, I will love you forever."

Seeing the soft expression in Ruka's eyes sent a rush of warmth through Daisuike that had nothing to do with sex and everything to do with love. Gently taking Ruka's wrists he pulled him closer wrapping his arms around him burying his face against his neck.

"What did I ever do to deserve someone like you, Ruka." He murmured softly kissing the silken skin against his lips. "I don' think I'll ever be able to show you how much you mean to me, it would take many lifetimes and even then it wouldn't be enough."

He pulled back slowly staring into his lover's fascinating eyes. Ruka was truly beautiful both inside and out and Daisuike was falling more in love with him every day. Even with all his quirks he loved everything about him. He knew Ruka put up with a lot from him so any irritation he felt at times was tempered by this knowledge. Right now he just wanted to curl up in bed and snuggle the man he loved.

"Come to bed with me."

"As you wish Ouji-sama. . ." He smiled leaning close to kiss him taking his hand to lead him to bed after a small bow. As he crawled into bed he brought him down close, enjoying the soft feel of his skin caressing his own and he smiled even wider, truly happy. Even if they were in bed and pressed against each other he didn't have the will or the want to have sex at that moment.

All he wanted and all he needed was Daisuike in his arms. Kissing him softly he nuzzled into his neck intertwining their legs.

Daisuike woke early and slipping gently out from under Ruka kissed him softly before getting dressed. He wanted to have everything loaded in the truck and ready to go when Ruka woke up. It took him a couple of trips to get everything, but they were going to be gone for the entire weekend.

He made a light breakfast and took it into the bedroom setting it out of the way on the table. He watched Ruka for a moment just memorizing the beautiful features. Sitting down on the bed he leaned over and kissed the slightly parted lips wondering if it would wake him or not.

Ruka's eyes fluttered for a moment, fighting with himself if he really wanted to get up or not. Though he tasted Daisuike. With a smirk and his eyes still closed he reached up pulling Daisuike down against him. Slowly opening his eyes he grinned.

"I think I like being woken up this way. . . Though I would kind of like you under me at this moment. You woke me from a very nice dream, even if reality is much much better."

"I'll have to remember that." Daisuike chuckled. He glanced over at the food on the table. "I brought you some breakfast. You need to eat and get dressed so we can get on the road. I'm excited for us to get there."

The cars should be there just a little ahead of them and he wanted to give Ruka all the time he could. He was paying enough for it and wanted to get his money's worth too. That and he wasn't sure when everyone else was going so show up. Though he hoped Fuji had the sense to tell everyone to come a day later than he and Ruka were actually going to be there. He wanted Ruka to have the track to himself as much as he wanted.

Ruka pouted, "Can't I eat you instead-Itai!" He whined softly pouting even more. Daisuike was mean sometimes. Yawning a bit he reached over for the food smiling happily as he ate.

"You need to stop spoiling me. I'm just gunna make you my wife- or whatever you'd be called- officially. You act like my spouse anyways." He smirked leaning close to kiss him on the cheek gently before feeding him some of the onigiri.

Daisuike choked slightly on the onigiri having inhaled at the wrong moment, slightly shocked by Ruka's words. He took a drink of tea to clear his throat.

"I like spoiling you. What's wrong with me acting like that?" Daisuike realized he was pouting and quickly looked away. The though of being Ruka's . . . whatever he would be, was unsettling in a very nice way. He looked back over at him smiling suddenly. "Maybe I'll just start calling you shujin."

Ruka choked on the miso he was sipping coughing up a storm as he looked at Daisuike blushing hard. "You have no idea how tempting that is. . ." Ruka blushed more looking away as he spoke barely above a whisper muttering to himself. He was definitely going to look into it more.

If he was honest with himself he really did want to marry Daisuike. He'd have to ask Jiro if he could. Though maybe he should ask his father? Frowning Ruka wasn't sure and he decided to ask Daisuike.

"Ne. . . Ano- . . . Ouji-sama?" Pausing he sipped some of his miso trying to distract himself a bit. "Does your. . . Father know about us?"

Setting down his onigiri Daisuike looked at it for a moment. "No, he doesn't. I don't see him but maybe two or three times a year. Jiro talks to him a lot more than any of the rest of us, but it's always about work."

What would his father think? He had absolutely no idea. He barely knew the man. He sighed his appetite suddenly gone.

"With him everything is always about work."

"Oh." Ruka sighed. It sounded so much like his own father. Then again he hadn't seen his father since he moved into the apartment and that had been when they had basically kicked him out of the house. That had been hell. Trying to lighten the conversation not liking the heavy sick feeling it gave him he smiled.

"Then I'll just ask Jiro for your hand in marriage." He leaned forward kissing him gently, "Do I need to make an appointment to meet with your brother?" He smirked softly stroking his leg gently.

"Then again Akira might demand I ask him first though. . ."

Daisuike stared at Ruka hardly daring to breath. He had to be joking. He couldn't be serious no matter how much Daisuike wanted him to be. There was no way someone like Ruka wanted to be tied down even if the thought of being married to him sent a rush through him, his body tingling making him feel light headed. It was too much to hope for, too much to even dream about. He smiled to hide the turmoil suddenly racing through him.

"Yeah Akira might try to kick your ass, though the person you really should talk to is probably Reiko. She like our adopted sister or something. She really would kick your ass." He kept his voice light even though his mind was racing. The though that Ruka might even consider such a huge step throwing him completely off.

Ruka blinked seeing the look on Daisuike's face suddenly feeling his own face go a bit red. Suke seemed almost. . . shocked and not at all scared of the idea. Did that mean he wanted to get married? Would he want to get married? Biting his lip he smiled.

"Alright, I'll just ask them all. I think the risk would be worth it." He smirked kissing him. "Breakfast was wonderful. I'm going to take a quick shower and then get ready." Getting up he kissed him softly before slipping off to the bathroom his mind racing with plans on what he needed to look up. If he was sneaky he could look up information on the way to wherever they were going.

Daisuike stared after him for a long moment still in a bit of a daze. "Ask them all?"

He shook his head and gathered up the dishes. He'd worry about it later right now he needed to worry about getting them to Suzuka on time. He still felt a bit light headed and out of breath and shook himself. It wasn't like Ruka didn't like to joke around, he wouldn't take it seriously, no matter how much he wanted to.

He quickly cleaned the kitchen and threw the clothes from the washer in the dryer. Did he really act like a wife? Was that a bad thing? Should he do something different? He wandered around the living room straightening things and finally sat on the couch to wait for Ruka. He couldn't keep thinking about this right now. This weekend was about Ruka, not him.

Ruka was bounced as he got out of the bathroom. He was excited and wanted to know where they were going. Honestly he was more excited about finding out if and when he could marry Daisuike. At this point he wasn't even thinking about if Daisuike would say yes or no, his only thoughts were on how things would work and if it was possible.

"Ne! Daisuike, are you ready? I'm ready. What do I need to do to help?"

"Nothing, everything is loaded in the truck and ready to go." Daisuike smiled at him, happy to see him in such a good mood. It had seemed like forever since he'd seen Ruka this happy, not since the wreck at least. "You just need your phone and your wallet and we are ready."

He was already walked toward the door slipping his shoes on and grabbing his keys. He smiled. Ruka was going to be so surprised and he felt like he was jumping out of his skin with anticipation.

Ruka smiled getting his things before following Daisuike out. He was really curious about where they were going. Everything had been prepared and he was wondering what was going to happen. What could take the whole weekend? Was it a cruise? He kind of hoped not. Unless they were going to stay in their room the entire time. He didn't want to be with random people.

Sliding into the truck he smiled yawning, "You know where you're going? Are you using the GPS?" He grinned hopefully.

"Nice try Ruka." Daisuike grinned at him. "No I'm not. I memorized how to get there. I'm want it to be a complete surprise."

Though he wasn't looking forward to driving the entire time. At least he had Ruka to talk too. He could talk to Ruka about pretty much anything. He drew the line at talking about his work though. Hopefully the roads would be pretty clear and he'd be able to make good time. The tolls would slow them but it couldn't be helped.

Ruka pouted for a while fiddling with his phone, "Okay. . . I actually gotta try and do some research for work a bit. My agent is nagging me about doing more shoots and when she found out I was injured she nearly had a heart attack. So I need to do some stuff for a bit. You can talk to me though, I don't mind."

He smiled as he flipped his phone open working to find the information he needed. He was becoming more and more serious about marrying Daisuike the longer he thought about it.

Daisuike decided to let him do his stuff for work, part of him glad he was taking an interest in it again. He turned on the radio down low so as to not bother him too much. He was lost in his own thoughts for the most part much of it centering around how the weekend might go. He shied away from thinking about the subject they'd touched on at breakfast. It wasn't even possible. Two guys getting married? That wasn't even legal as far as he knew, no matter how much the thought appealed to him. They'd been driving for about an hour and a half and Daisuike decided to stop at a gas station to stretch for a moment and get a snack.

"You want anything?"

"Hmm, some kind of snack. Anything would be good. Oh! Onigiri! And a Coke please." Ruka smiled at him waving some fingers at him as he resumed what he was looking at. It was irritating what was going to have to happen and would take a while unless the laws changed.

Sighing he grabbed some hair. This wasn't working out so smoothly. It was going to take a lot of effort in order to get married but he really wanted to do it. He'd still talk to Jiro, and then Akira and Reiko about it. Even if they were engaged for several years it would be okay.

The closer they got to the raceway the more nervous Daisuike became. When the signs started pointing the way to the complex he started to freak out a little. What if Hoshi wasn't there with the cars? What if something had gone wrong? Would Ruka be upset with him moving all his cars without his permission? He took a few deep breaths calming himself.

He pulled down the street the led to the race way passing the amusement park and gardens. The hotel they would stay at was visible just beyond the gardens. The stands of the race track were directly in front of them now and he could see the large transport parked to the side, the cars already being unloaded. He glanced over at Ruka hardly daring to breathe.

"We are here."

Ruka blinked lifting his head glancing forward then stopping what he was doing nearly dropping his phone. Closing the phone without looking at it he slowly moved his gaze towards Daisuike then glanced back towards the stands.

"Wha-What?" Pocketing his phone he looked back at Daisuike, "Explain to me what's going on cause I honestly think I'm gunna hyperventilate in a minute. . ."

Pulling up next to the truck Daisuike looked over at Ruka. "Come on and get out."

The stands looked enormous now that he was near them and his heart was thumping hard against his ribs as he turned to watch Ruka get out of the truck. He couldn't help but grin at him.

"Welcome to the Suzuka International Race Course Ruka. It's yours for the entire weekend."
