Chapter 7

Faith had been working as hard as possible to get use to her powers with Wulf’s guidance. Her powers were advancing nicely and she was conquering every spell that he had brought to her. She could move objects with her mind, no matter the size or shape. One evening Rage had dared her that she couldn’t move Sin’s Hummer from the garage to the driveway.
She was so mad at Rage for doubting her; she went to prove to him that she could. Not only did she move the hummer, she set the damn thing on the lawn practically on top of Rage’s feet. He glared at her and left, but he didn’t doubt her powers after that.
She mastered putting up force fields with her mind and throwing ball of energy at her opponents. Her aim was still a little off, but she could work on that. She could even call the dead to do her deed, but Wulf was weary about letting her do those spells. He told her that it could easily get out of hand if anything went wrong.
One day Wulf had came to spend more practice time with her. They were sitting in the library. Wulf sat in front of the red cedar desk were she was preached behind with her knees drawn up under her chin, her heels propped in front of her on the seat. He pulled a black book and a red book with black trimming out of his bag setting them down on the desk in front of her. She let her feet drop to the floor as she leaned forward. She picked each one up and looked at them carefully.
The black book was called ‘The Book of Shadows’ and the red book was ‘The Book of Spells’. Her heart started to pound inside her chest in excitement. She placed them back on the desk and looked up at Wulf. Her hazel eyes shinned with inquiry and the building joy she was feeling. Wulf smiled at her with a nod of his head.
“That’s nothing more I can do for you, lass. The rest of the journey is for you alone.” Tears started to roll down her cheeks unchecked and she was up out of her chair, over the top of the desk, taking Wulf into her arms.
“Thank you so much. I appreciate everything you’ve done for me.” His arms slowly wrapped around her waist, he wasn’t too accustomed to any affection, but he found himself setting his discomfort to the back of his mind.
“Now avenge your family, Faith and our vampire kin.”
“I will.” She whispered burying her face into his shoulder. The door behind Wulf opened and Faith looked over his shoulder, to her surprise, she saw Sin walk into the room. She had barely seen him in the past couple of days. He had made a point to avoid her like the plague. Every time she had came into any room that he occupied he would get up and stated he had to take care of something, then leave her standing there watching him go. Every time her heart felt like it was breaking a little bit more.
She had slowly been allowing him to slip past her guarded heart and have an impact on her life, and then he would shove the knife in and twist it just a little. She had been letting his charm make her feel like a really woman worth somebody then he would ignore her as if she was nothing to him. She was more then a little hurt, she was torn up inside.
I’ll show him. She brought her hand up into Wulf’s long hair and brought his lips down to press softly against hers. She felt the tension hit the room like a dark cloud. She knew instantly that she had made a terrible mistake. The door slammed shut with so much force Faith was surprise the house didn’t collapse around them. She pulled away feeling extremely guilty. She stepped out of Wulf’s arms and looking everywhere but at him. She knew she had messed up big time.
He grabbed her chin with steel like fingers making her look at him and holding her firmly in place. What scared her even more, was that his gold eyes were flashing red with anger. She had definitely made a grave mistake and now she was going to have to suffer the consequences. She was not only hurting Sin, but also she had played with two men’s friendship and partnership. She felt like the biggest bitch on the planet.
“Don’t ever use me again.” His voice was low and hushed, very deadly. She realized then when he sounded like that she was in a lot of hot water. This man could snap her neck without even breaking a sweat if he wanted too.
“I’m so sorry. I wasn’t even thinking.” She was terrified, what if he decided she wasn’t worth the trouble anymore.
“Well, you better start thinking, because now not only do you have to deal with my anger. You have to deal with Sin’s and he’s going to be furious.” Wulf growled. “Maybe I was wrong to give you those books, lass. You just showed me how irresponsible you can be and those books shouldn’t be in the hands of someone irresponsible.” Wulf was scolding her like a little child, which fit the occasion, because she felt like a damn high school student trying to piss off her crush. It worked. She thought bitterly. She wanted to hurt Sin so badly that she became selfish.
“I…”
“Don’t say anything. I don’t want to hear your pathetic excuses. You need Sin. I know you don’t want too, but you do. So, don’t say anything to me. You need to come to terms with your feelings and then beg for forgiveness from Sin.” With that, Wulf turned on his heel and glided out of the room like a graceful tiger, with long elegant strides.
Faith felt the hurt swell in her chest and her vision blurring, threatening to spill the tears. What had she done? Was she that pathetic that she would play two friends against each other? A single tear trickled down her pale cheek and she wiped it off furiously with the back of her hand. She had cried more then she had in her whole life the past week since she had met Sin.
Why was her heart so fragile all of the sudden? It was as if Sin had taken a sledgehammer and busted her carefully constructed walls down to open a never-ending flood. Why did she have to feel so small whenever Sin was around? Why was she falling in love with him without her evening realizing it? Wulf was right she was falling for the vampire Prince, slowly but surely.
Her strong dam finally broke and a sob tore from her throat as her face was soaked with her sorrow, her heart aching. Her knees buckled and she sank to the floor with her face in her hands and cried furiously, letting out all the pent up sorrow that she had stored away for so long.
She felt so alone and vulnerable. She had no one left to lean on, no support. Then to top off her crappy life, she went and screwed things up by hurting Sin. She didn't feel very smart now. She let the pain flow through and out of her until it eased her painful heart. She felt with each tear her soul was being cleansed of the filth it had endured for so long. She was slowly feeling rejuvenated and whole again. She pulled herself together and wiped her face off.
“I guess it was a good thing I didn’t do my make up today.” She said to herself in dry humor. She stood up wiping the tears under her eyes. She stared at the closed door for a long moment with her arms around her stomach as a wave of nausea hit her. When she was sure she wasn’t going to puke, she gathered up her books and headed for the door.
She needed a long hot shower to fight away the wave of depression she felt pushing at her mind and maybe a nap. She headed for the stairs to do exactly that.
The sound of breaking glass gave her pause. She heard a lot of banging and breaking of furniture. She took two stairs at a time to get to the top of the second floor. She could hear loud cursing coming through the closed door of Sin’s bedchamber. She felt her heart break a little more. She couldn’t do this to either one of them anymore. She silently made a resolution that she would do anything in her power to get back into his good graces. She was going to win him over if it was the last thing she did.
She was sick of hurting and sick of the loneliness. She had to finally admit to herself that when Sin held her in his arms she was not lonely anymore or scared. She wanted to feel that way for the rest of her life. She would have him even if he were a vampire. She was a god forsaken witch so what was the difference they were both condemned so why couldn’t they be together.
She made it to the door of her room. Margret came out of Sin room down the hall. She spotted Faith and a look of displeasure cross her face. She stopped in front of Faith, disappointment flashing through her eyes. Faith didn’t blame her; Faith was disappointed in herself too.
“Sin wanted you to be ready in about two hours. You guys are going to the club tonight to meet with the rest of the high counsel.” Margret went to move past Faith.
“Margret…”
“I don’t want to hear it. I got an ear full from Sin. I get the picture on what happened and I’m not impressed with either of you.” She went to walk away again.
“Tell me Wulf is not in there with him.” Faith prayed near tears.
“Sin’s alone.” Margret said over her shoulder as she kept walking. Faith wished that the ground would open up and swallow her whole.
She walked into her room and shut the door quietly, leaning against it. A loud crash and then a powerful bang against the wall made Faith wonder if Sin had just tossed a table at the wall in his fury. She wondered how she was going to face his bothers tonight. That’s going to be easy. How are you going to face Sin tonight? He’s the one you fucked over. Her inner voice taunted. She placed her forehead against the palm of her hands and sank down to her knees. She decided the only thing she had left to do was hold her head up high and ride out the storm.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sin had been completely caught off guard and now was furious. The last thing he had expected was to find Wulf and Faith locked in a passionate kiss. He had walked into the room to check and see how things were moving along. Instead, he got a knife stabbed into his chest and twisted agonizingly. He had never felt such uncontrollable jealousy in his whole life. He had to leave before he killed them both and the woman wasn’t even his.
His heart refused to believe that though. Since the first day he had met the witch, his heart and soul had claimed her. She belonged to him where his mind acknowledges it or not. His body and soul knew she was his and would not rest until she belonged fully to him. She had bewitched him.
He had stormed up to his private quarters and let loose the beast roaring under his self control. He completely lost it. The first thing to hit the floor was his two thousand old antique vases and then it was game on. The sound of the breaking glass made him feel slightly better, that he decided if he destroyed everything in the room he would soon feel like his old self.
After an hour of being in a wildly rage, he had sank down to his recliner chair, the only chair that wasn’t tipped over and half way across the room. He placed his head into his trembling hands. The room looked like a tornado had ran through it and he didn’t feel any better then when he walked into the room. Everything was destroyed and all he was left with was feeling emotionally exhausted.
He was having a hard time getting motivated to go to the counsel meeting, because he would have to be in the same room with both Wulf and Faith. He really wasn’t ready to face either of them. He wouldn’t be able to look at Faith and he’d probably beat the hell out of Wulf.
Margret was fuming when she had walked into his room. She had taken one look at the wreckage and scowled at him. He really didn’t want to argue with her, but he saw it coming. He knew there was no way he was going to be able to avoid it. Margret would make sure he had a good earful of what she had to say before he would be able to escape her.
“Do you realize I have to clean this mess up?” She vented. He just shrugged his shoulders and stayed where he was. She looked startled. She had expected him to tell her to lie off or shut up, anything then shrug his shoulders.
“I’ll do it.” He mumbled through his hands. That surprised her even more. She knelt down on the floor in front of him and made him look at her.
“Tell her how you feel.” She coaxed softly. They stared at each other in a long silence. She knew that he wasn’t going to answer, but she had seen the answer in his eyes. He loved the girl. She squeezed his hand lightly then got up leaving him alone.
“That’s easier said then done.” He mumbled at the closed door. He had never felt like this and he had tried hard never to feel like this. He was against taken her life away from her. He was against taking anybody life away from them unless it was already been taken. She could find a man that could share his whole life with her. Someone who could go out with her during the day and at night, go out to dinner with her and enjoy a good five star meal. He couldn’t do that and he didn’t want to take that from her.
He got up and grabbed his gun halter, strapping it on to his back. He pulled on his long trench coat and grabbed his clip belt. He decided that the sooner he helped her fulfill her mission, the sooner her could get her out of his life.
He made his way over to Faith’s room. He hesitated at the door for a brief moment then stirred up the courage to knock soundly on it. He bellowed for her to meet him downstairs. He quickly made his way to the entrance, still trying to calm his nerves. He wasn’t ready to face her, but he had no choice. Margret came through the front door and handed him the keys to his BMW.
He glanced up at the top of the stairs to see Faith at the top. She descended slowly her head down. She wore a long cape with the hood pulled over her black locks. The only flesh that was visible was her long arm at her side, holding the cape a few inches off the ground so that she wouldn’t trip.
He turned away from her when the pain of looking at her got too strong. It was bad enough that he could hear the blood pounding through her veins, her heart sounding in a nervous beat. He had been craving a taste of her blood every since the night he woke up. Part of the reason he had avoid her was because of his new addiction for a taste of her. His body was clenching now for a sip of what she had to offer.
Her blood was sweet and soothing. It was like an antidote for his black soul. Just a small amount took the edge off his dark life. One taste of her would never be enough. He wanted to have her every night to be able to take his fill of her and he knew he would feel the same in the sex they would have.
What was he thinking? He was not going to get that close to her to take her to his bed. He had to stop thinking like this or he was never going to get her out of his head. He knew though that he wouldn’t be able to get her out of his mind. She was implanted into his mind’s eye and was there to stay.
He pulled open the front door and grumbled the whole way to his car. He was really starting to hate the new obsession he had with her. He got into the driver seat and slammed the door shut. He quickly rearranged the damn hard on he always got whenever she was around, before Faith got into the car.
She opened the passenger seat door and slid in gracefully. She pulled her cape out of the door’s way and closed it softer then Sin had. They drove in silence the whole way to the club. The tension in the car was so tangible that Sin was having a hard time keeping focused. He was trying his hardest to keep his hunger and anger under control. He chanced a glance at her from the corner of his eye to see Faith content looking out the passenger window. He growled and went back to driving. The silence was starting to get too overbearing.
He was going about ninety miles per hour down the road. He slammed up the emergency brake, the tires locking up. The car skidded along the pavement and he spun the steering wheel turning the car in tight circles. By the time the car had stopped, they were parked by the sidewalk. Faith was out of breath, her heart feeling like it was about to explode out of her chest. Sin, on the other hand, felt exceptionally better. He was out of a car letting out a loud cry of excitement as the adrenaline pumped through him. Faith got out on wobbly legs.
She was furious with him. He had scared the shit out of her and didn’t even bother to consider her safety. If the car had flipped and rolled or crashed into another vehicle, he wouldn’t have had anything to worry about. She, on the other hand, could have been severally hurt.
“Are you crazy?” That got his attention for he finally turned to look at her. “Did you even consider that I’m not immortal and I could have gotten hurt if anything went wrong?” He rolled his eyes and that set her off even more. “Well let me tell you all high and mighty, if anything happens to me who is going to take care of those Changelings that have been riding your ass? So you had better start thinking and get your head out of your ass.” Well, that felt exceptionally good. She thought as Sin stared at her with a look of surprise. She decided she had better quick while she was ahead. She turned her back on him and headed toward the back of the warehouse.
Sin was dumbstruck. He was not expecting that from her. Especially what had happened earlier, he didn’t think she would even have the balls to speak to him. He had to give her credit. She wasn’t going to put up with his attitude and he admired that. She was independent and knew what she was.
They entered the dim lit nightclub. It was packed like the first night she was there. She stayed as close to Sin as possible, but he really didn’t seem like he cared if she got lost in the crowd or not. Sin saw Wulf standing on the platform leading to the back room.
His jaw clenched and his heart started to pound furiously. He wanted to kill Wulf. He felt the painful stab of jealousy just looking at him. Wulf stood there acting as if nothing was wrong, but in reality, he tried to steal Sin’s girl. At least Sin had convinced himself that. He came to a stop in front of Wulf with hatred blazing in his eyes.
“Good evening, my laird. Are you ready to get this meeting started? All the brothers are here.”
“You are no brother of mine.” Sin spat out, before he could catch himself. Wulf’s eye’s flashed a blood red.
“I’m sorry you feel that way.” His voice was steady, revealing no emotion.
“Sin.” Faith said firmly behind him, trying to get his attention. He still ignored her.
“Why would you do that? It’s not our place to court witches.” Sin grounded out. Wulf raised an eyebrow in surprise. He hadn’t expected that.
“I’m not courting her, my laird. It was a kiss.” Sin’s face went beat red with fury.
“A kiss that should have never happened.” Sin tightened his hands into fists. Wulf saw the movement and a slow wicked smile spread on his lips.
“Sin!” Came Faith’s pleading voice again.
“What, Sin? Are you going to hit me? Is Faith something to you?” He pushed, knowing he was antagonizing the beast. Sin’s teeth were clenched so tight that they were practically grinding together. He wanted to hit Wulf. He wanted to make him pay for kissing Faith.
You should know exactly what I feel for Faith. Sin pushed into Wulf’s mind.
I do know. Wulf shot back.
Then why the fuck did you do it?
I didn’t do it. Wulf was all calm and purposed.
“You didn’t do it? I fucking saw you! You guys were locked in each others arms.” Sin yelled, a couple of people stopped and watched. The three of them continued in their intense argument.
“Sin, goddamn it.” She was really starting to get pissed off by this point.
You saw what you wanted to see. Wulf answered, telepathically. Maybe you should be interrogating Faith not your loyal brother. Wulf put an emphasis on ‘loyal’. Sin glared at him.
You are not loyal when you touch another man’s woman.
You haven’t laid claim over her, Sin. She doesn’t believe to be yours, so stop acting so childish. Sin’s patience snapped and he laid his fist hard into Wulf’s jaw. Wulf’s head whipped to the side and he probably would have hit the floor if it hadn’t been for the railing.
When Wulf turned to face Sin again, his eyes were not gold anymore, they were blood red and his lip was split. A tiny drop of blood rolled down his chin before the cut healed. Wulf stood his full height of six feet and eight inches. Faith realized then that Wulf was taller then Sin by almost two inches.
“You would throw your brotherhood away for a lousy mortal?” Wulf growled. “One that I don’t even care lives or dies?” Sin held Wulf’s furious glare, giving a quick nod of his head. “Fine.” With that finality, Wulf left the club.
“Are you fucking stupid?” Faith yelled. “Wulf had nothing to do with the kiss. He didn’t even want me too. I kissed him before he knew what was going on. I kissed him.” Faith emphasized on the last part, pushing pass him, shivering from the brush of his arm. She went into the backroom.
Sin stood there with a scowl on his face. Faith had kissed Wulf, not the other way around. He had been convinced that Wulf was the one who initiated it. He hadn’t even stopped to think that it was her. He had never known a woman to intitiate anything with a guy. ‘He didn’t even want me to’, rang in Sin’s head. Now he felt like a real ass. He had to find Wulf. He had to make amends for his stupidity or he was going to lose one of his closet friends and ally.
He made his way through the dancers to the entrance of the club. As soon as he stepped outside the cool air hit him in the face. Wulf stood off to the side leaning against the brick wall. He didn’t bother to look at Sin. Sin took a deep breath and let it out slowly trying to put his pride in the back seat. It had felt good to lay it in on Wulf for the kiss that Faith gave him, but Sin knew it wasn’t right.
“I’m sorry about that. I really lost it in there. This girl has got me wound so tight that it was only a matter of time until I lost it.” He apologized trying to explain to Wulf that he was having a hard time keeping his emotions under control since Faith had waltzed into his life.
“I can see that.” He looked disappointed at Wulf’s reaction.
“I should have known you wouldn’t do that to me. I guess jealousy got the better of me.”
“Yeah, you should have and as for being jealous that should tell you something.”
“Goddamn it, man. I’m trying to apologize. You don’t have to make me feel any worse.” He snapped running a hand through his hair in frustration.
“Who hit who, my Prince?” Wulf stated sarcastically with a raised eyebrow. Sin sobered.
“Yea, I know.”
“I forgive you, but you have to make it up to me.”
“What do you want?” Sin said suspiciously.
“Make her yours.” They stared at each other. Sin’s eyes narrowed.
“She doesn’t want me.”
“Do you really believe that?” They were silent and Sin thought about it.
“I really don’t know.”
“I’ll tell you one thing, she isn’t after me. I think she kissed me to make you jealous.” Sin’s eyebrows raised slightly.
“Now your just feeding me shit, so I’ll make a fool of myself when I try to pursue her.”
“When did you become paranoid?” Wulf laughed. “I guarantee that she wants you.” Sin nodded slowly.
“I’ll see what I can do.”
“Okay, that’s good enough for now.” Wulf turned back to the club. Sin watched him disappear behind the door. Was Wulf right? Could Faith been doing it to make him jealous? He didn’t know but there was no reason to ponder over it right now. There were other things to do right now and trying to figure out a woman’s mind was not one of them.
Sin made his way inside and walked up to the bar to talk to the manager of the club, Darren. He handed him a glass of luke-warm donor blood. Angel spun around to face him. A seductive smile spread on her black painted lips, in invitation. He watched her walk up to him as he sat on the barstool. She wrapped her arms around his neck, rubbing her scantily covered body against his. He had to admit that she looked exceptionally good tonight.
“I’ve missed you.” She purred in his ear.
“I’ve been busy.” He replied slipping his hand on his waist. She shuttered against him.
“I want you Sin. I need to taste you, to feel you moving inside me.” He closed him eyes almost succumbing to the demand of his body, but he saw Faith’s face behind his closed eyelids. He knew that Angel would put his body at ease, but he didn’t want her. He wanted Faith.
She ran her canines down his neck and he almost threw her on the bar counter and drank his fill of her blood. He held himself back though. He didn’t want Angel to think that she had some kind of power over him. Someone cleared their throat to the side of them and they both looked up to see Faith. Sin went hard instantly, his mouth watering in anticipation. If he had thought Angel looked good, it was nothing compared to Faith.
She stood with her arms cross over her silk covered body. She wore a black dress, a very sexy black dress that clung to every curve on her body. It left nothing and everything to the imagination. The silk material covered the front of her body in one solid piece and then another piece that covered her back. The only thing hold the material up and on her was two tiny bows at her shoulders.
There were two ties on each side of her hips. One tie was at her waist and the other was at the middle of her thigh. The rest was bare flesh and he was itching to run his hands along it. She wore knee high black boots and her hair falling down her back in midnight waves. Two strands on each side of her hair were curled and framing her beautiful face.
She was one hot sex kitten, actually she was one pissed off sex kitten. She was glaring daggers at both him and Angel. He almost pushed Angel away from him, but he decided he wanted to see how this was going to play out. It would be a good way to find out if Wulf was right.
Angel gave Faith a wicked smile, while she let one of her hands wonder down his chest to play with the waistband of his pants. Sin knew that Angel could feel his erection straining against his zipper. She didn’t know that it wasn’t for her, though. Faith’s eyes narrowed dangerously and Sin let the thought press at his conscious that maybe he was pushing her too far.
“Oh, there’s your human bitch.” Angel purred at Sin then directed her attention to Faith. “It looks like he got bored of you.” Sin could feel the fury rising around Faith.
“You’re mistaken.” She answered flatly. “He never had me to get bored with, but as for you. I think he’s looking for something better.” Angel sneered at her, straightening her back.
“And why do you say that?” Angel rose to the bait and moved away from Sin to stand in front of Faith.
“Because he’s been flirting with me since I started living with him.” Surprise flashed in Angel’s eyes. Sin had never let anyone but his bothers in his domain.
“I owe you, human bitch. You got one good hit on me last time, but I’m going to drain you dry.” She spat. Sin leaned against the counter; this was going to get good.
“Bring it.” Faith stated, with a knowing smile dancing on those tempting lips.
Angel flew at her with amazing speed, but Faith had caught her with a paralyzing spell. Angel was pinned about a foot away. Faith closed the distance between them with her head held high. She had an aura around her of pure seduction. She wiggled around to get move comfortable on the stool. Faith stood inches away from Angel. She grabbed the vampire’s chin and leaned close so she could whisper in Angel’s ear.
“I want you to know I could destroy you with a flick of my wrist, but I chose not too. Consider yourself lucky, Angel.” She moved away from her so she could look into her eyes. “Stay away from Sin.” She said softly, not once raising her voice. Angel stared at her with bright blue eyes. Faith barely moved and it sent Angel flying into the bar.
The bar bent to form a dent where Angel laid against it. When she looked at Faith again, her eyes with blood red. She let out a battle cry and came at Faith once again. Faith placed a shield of protection around herself. Her dress flapped around her body from the high amount of energy. Faith’s eyes going light green.
This is going to get ugly. However, Sin couldn’t find it in himself to stop them. It was past time that someone put Angel in her place. She had been bullying younger vamps around and walking around the club like the queen of Sheba, because Sin had spent one night with her. Everyone was sick of it and Sin was sick of hearing about it.
Angel made the mistake of running into the force field, which sent her flying back the way she came. Faith stopped Angel with her mind before Angel could hit the bar again. She moved her hand toward the entrance and Angel went hurling through the air in that direction.
People jumped out of the way, barely making it to safety. Angel hit the desk by the door hard and flipped over the top of it. Faith walked slowly to where Angel was crumpled on the floor. Everyone scurried out of her way and stared at her in awe. Sin rearranged himself in his jeans, trying to rearrange his thoughts while he was at it. Faith’s hair flowed behind her like the waves in the ocean. She looked stunning, so fuckalbe.
Faith lifted her hand from her side to the middle of her chest. Angel’s dead weight body rose with it. Angel forced her head to lifted so that she could make eye contact with Faith as her body was suspended in thin air. Faith gave her a wicked smile. A smile that stated that once again she had won the battle.
“Don’t ever try to stand up to me again. I don’t play silly games with silly little girls like you.’ The door opened. “Now, how about you go cool off and come back when you can be a good little girl. When you do come back you had better treat me with some respect.” With that, she threw Angel out into the cold night and slammed the door in her face.
The energy slowly evaporated around Faith and she turned back to the crowd. Her eyes still the color of light green. She looked at all the gapping faces staring at her. She smiled innocently and shrugged her shoulders.
“Sorry everyone, but that was a long time coming.” She stated nonchalantly. She made her way back over to Sin, people spread to give her plenty of walking space. He leaned there on the bar with a sexy smile on his face. She wanted to smack him so bad.
“Don’t you think that was…”
“Shut up!” She snapped, cutting him off. He raised both eyebrows in surprise, but did as she said. She didn’t stop until she had one foot on each of the bars on the bottom of the bar stools, that was on each side of Sin. She was eye level with him now. “Don’t ever touch her again.” She spat out. He smiled in victory and put a hand on each one of her hips, making sure his fingers were gripping bare skin.
God, she felt so good. Warm, soft, and so alive. He wanted her right here and right now. His heart raced in his chest. She looked so mad and determined. She was insanely jealous of Angel. She was his, even if she didn’t know it, her body did. Her hips were already leaning forward to brush against his, even as her stormy eyes flashed anger.
“Or what, kitten?” Faith stared deep into his midnight blue eyes. She knew he was antagonizing her, but she didn’t care.
“Or I’ll kill her.” She whispered her eyes telling him that she wasn’t kidding. He let his hand cup her right cheek and he brushed her full bottom lip with his thumb. She shivered and her body slowly fell into his as if as of her energy had been drained out of her. Her eyes fell closed, when they opened again, her eyes were misty hazel.
“A little protective of me, aren’t you? I thought you didn’t like me?”
“I don’t.” She answered breathless.
“You’re lying.” He was an inch away from her lips.
“So.” It was barely audible, but he heard it loud and clear. He wanted to kiss her and nothing was going to stop him. He didn’t care who saw, he needed to taste her now almost as bad as he needed blood to live. He crushed his lips to hers and she melted against him all her bones turning to rubber.
He slipped his tongue against her lips, begging to enter. She moaned, giving him access. He devoured her, running his tongue across her teeth and her tongue in a slow erotic rhythm, showing her how he would make love to her. One of her legs came up, so her knee rested on the top of the barstool. He growled, running his hand from her ankle boot to her naked thigh.
She sucked on his tongue as the warmth spread from her toes and from the top of her head to meet at the center of her need in a hot liquid pool. She was hot with the fire of desire that was raging unprotected through her body. She was losing herself to him slowly and she couldn’t seem to stop herself. She nipped at his bottom lip and he pulled her other leg up to rest on the other barstool. He was now shackled in between her bent knees and the hard bar counter behind him. He didn’t seem to mind. It looked more like his was in heaven. Almost every man wanted to be in between some woman’s knees. He pulled away from her lips.
“I want you so badly, kitten. I hurt for you.” His breathing had quickened, sounding harsh to his own ears. Her wet lips were swollen from his demanding kisses and she shuttered against him at the words. He grinded his hips against her to prove his point and she let her head fallback letting out a long moan of pleasure. She mewed and gasped as she clung to his shoulders in a death grip. His cock strained against their clothes as he rubbed in between her legs in a frantic pace. She pushed back against him in anticipation.
“I need you.” She admitted against her will. “I ache for you to be inside me.” He made a sound deep in his throat. She had never heard a man make such a sound but she decided that she wanted to hear him make that same sound again. He took her perfectly shaped breast into his palm. Her silk dress teased the flesh of his fingers and he found himself shivering at the though of her dress sliding along his cock. His hard on jumped at the pleasure of the thought. Her nipples were straining through the material begging to be touched, kissed, and played with. He brushed his fingers along one of them and she almost screamed in pleasure.
“Stop woman. You’re a tease and we are wearing way too many clothes.” His other hand moved going for the tie at her shoulder. She caught his hand and took his finger into her mouth, sucking on it hard. He almost blew his load right then. He pinched her nipple in punishment and she felt her world start to spin, narrowing down on him and her. His knees almost gave out on him. “Kitten, stop.” He ordered, panting. “Or I’m going to throw you on this damn counter and fuck you silly.” She looked at him with a playful sparkle in her misty hazel eyes. A smile tried to tug at the corner of her lips.
“Is that supposed to be a threat, because it sounds more like a promise to me.” She purred, taking his ear lobe in her mouth.
“That’s it.” He put his hands on her behind, lifting her up so her breasts were eye level with him. She let out a startled cry and he spun around setting her on the bar. That seemed to bring her back to her senses.
“Sin we can’t. Everyone’s watching us.” She was scanning the crowd, nawing on her bottom lip. All the women looked speechless, while all the guys had silly grins on their faces expecting to get a free porno show.
“I don’t care.” Sin grounded out from between clenched teeth, as his hands were moving up her thighs to find what he was craving for the most. He could smell her scent spilling off her aroused body and he wanted to taste it so bad.
“Well, I do.” She pushed at his chest. He backed off reluctantly, but not after giving her one, more toe curling, mind-blowing kiss. She slid of the counter breathless and straightened her dress. He used her body to shield him, while her unzipped, his pants and rearranged himself for the second time in ten minutes. She giggled like a high school girl and he had to kiss her again.
“I’ll have you tonight. You won’t get away from me this time, kitten.” His eyes were blazing with the intensity of his conviction. She sobered up fast. She felt the same intensity race through her body.
They headed for the back room ignoring the looks their audience was giving them. He didn’t care what they thought as long as Faith ended up in his bed before the night was over. He followed closely behind her so no one was how aroused he was, but he was sure everyone knew anyway.
He was hurting so bad and having her dress cling to her ass wasn’t helping matters any. He needed to do something about his dick before it killed him. They had almost made it to the back room when Gabrielle was standing in front of them.
“Sin, we have a serious problem.” Well, that did it. He thought as the pain in his cock begun to fade.
