“IHOP! IHOP!” Earth said, jumping in his seat as the Elemental Mobile traveled the highway.
“Stop jumping...it’s crowded as is back here...” Flood hissed, she was smushed in the back with Bud and Earth. Flame and Wind sat in the front, Ice and Leaf sat in the middle. And in the back was Storm, Earth Flood and Bud, smushed and smashed.
“We really need to get a bigger car...” Wind said.
“What for? Bud hardly ever goes with us anyways...” Flame smiled, “When he does, its not that far of a trip.”
“Hmm...nmmm!” Bud said, his lips were plastered against the window.
“He say something?” Storm said, looking at Bud.
“Yes, he said, ‘you are taking your half out of the middle,” Earth said, pushing against Storm. “I can’t breathe...”
“We’re here...”

“I want to sit by Flame.” Storm growled.
“I want to sit by Flame.” Wind hissed.

“Like hells you are!” Wind snorted again.
Flame growled, “Enough, you can both sit by me, one on each side...”
The group sat in a booth, a huge booth, once in IHOP. They sat on one side...Bud sat on the outside, then Storm, then Flame then Wind sat by the wall. And on the other side, Ice sat near the wall, then Leaf, then Flood then Earth. Even though Earth was almost 18, he pestered the host to bring him crayons and a playmat. Which she did.
Earth was scribbling happily when he heard the waitress come up, “Hello...”
Flame smiled, “Hello.”
“What can I start you guys out with? Oh, sorry... my name is Goldenna... I’ll be serving you tonight.”
“COFFEE!” Earth smiled, jumping up and down, “COFFEE AND PANCAKES!”
“Decaf for him...” Flame said, “The rest of us will have coffee.”
Goldenna nodded and turned to retrieve the coffee.
“Goldenna?” Flame smiled, “Should we ask her if she’s an Elemental?”
“Go ahead...” Ice smiled, she was having her thigh rubbed by Leaf.
“Oh...Flame, dear... I think you’re skin is so smooth...” Wind said.
“You aren’t touching me...” Flame said.
“Then...” Wind looked over at Storm.
“Thank you Honey... I try to keep my arms soft.” Storm smiled.
Wind growled and quickly moved his hand, looking at Flame, who was roaring with laughter.
“Here is your coffees.” Poor Goldenna had her hands full, and she looked tired.
“Thank you Goldenna.” Flame smiled, “Tell me... what a shimmery name you have.”
“Thanks” She said, setting down the hoggle of coffee. Eight hands shot for it at once. “My Dad gave it to me.”
“Tell me.” Flame said as she grumbled to the group, they all laid off until she got a cup first.
“Hmm?” Goldenna smiled.
“Are you aware of the Elemental Super Heros?” Flame smiled.
“Yes, oh, I love those guys. Always trying to save the world from SUCH EVILNESS!”
“Really?” Storm smiled, “Are you a possible ESH?”
Flame smiled at Storm, then looked back at Goldenna.
Goldenna smiled, “That I am...”
“What is it that you control Goldenna?” Wind asked, snatching the coffee pot from Storm, who silently vowed revenge.
“I control all things Gold.” Goldenna smiled.
“I’m glad I wear silver jewelry then...” Flame said, stirring her coffee.
“Me too.” Ice said.
“So... what do you guys want to eat?” Goldenna said.
“PANCAKES!” Earth squealed, “With lots of syrup!”
“I’d like a breakfast sampler with all bacon...” Ice said.
“Me too... extra crispy hashbrowns...” Leaf added.
“I want strawberry pancakes... with lots of whipped cream on top.” Flame said.
Storm and Wind exchanged worried looks.
Bud ordered t-bone steak and eggs, since he was not the one paying.
Wind ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes topped with blueberries, then complained that the group was out of cream and sugar.
Storm laughed and put the last remaining sugar in his cup of coffee. Then he ordered a sampler with pancakes smothered in strawberries, eggs scrambled.
Goldenna nodded at them.
Flood ordered a five stack of pancakes and a side of biscuits and gravy.
Goldenna nodded again and ran off to put in their order.
“Big order, it may take a while.” Flood said.
“Well, if Earth hadn’t ordered so much extras...” Storm joked.
“I didn’t order extras...” Earth said.
“Just cuz she wouldn’t let you order off the kids menu!” Flood said.
“Cut it out you too...” Leaf said.
“Great...” Wind said, reaching for the coffee, “We’re out...”
Storm whistled and sipped at his nice full hot cup of coffee.
Earth was bouncing up and down on his seat.
Flood sighed, “how many sugars did you put in that coffee?”
Earth laughed, “Twenty or so...”
“Or so...” Flame sighed.

Soon, Goldenna came back with their loads of food.
Earth dove into his, and grabbed for the flavored syrups on the end of the table.
Flood smiled and poured some maple syrup on her stuff.
Flame grabbed a glob of whipped cream and licked it off her finger seductively. Both Storm and Wind had to gulp.
This time, Goldenna also brought four pots of coffee and a BUNCH of sugars and creamers for the group.
“Thank you...” Flame said, “It looks wonderful.”
Earth’s plate was overflowing with syrups and Flood’s arm was getting sticky. Earth then picked up a whole pancake and ate it in one bite.
“Slow down...” Wind said, “Chew Earth.”
Earth said with his mouth full. “I am chewing...”
“Take smaller bites then.” Storm sighed, “Man, you are... strange.”
“Get use to it.” Flame giggled, eating a strawberry from Storm’s plate.

After the group finished their meals, they sat around talking. Bud, Leaf and Wind were arguing about gardening. Earth was drinking what was left of the boysenberry syrup and downing sugar packets, Flood and Ice were discussing new attacks, and Flame and Storm were... talking in the corner. Wind didn’t even notice that.
“So... here is your bill...” Goldenna smiled as she brought their check to them, “Pay the cashier when you are ready...”
Flame smiled, “Let’s give her an invitation to join the ESH guys, as part of her tip...”
Flood nodded, “sounds good to me...”
Earth bounced, “ME TOO!”
Wind nodded, “Yes.”
Storm agreed too, “Good...”
Ice nodded, “I like her...”
So with that, Storm and Wind fought over who was paying (Trying to impress Flame.) Flame left about ten dollars and a phone number on the table, with a note that said, ‘call for the ESH appointments.’

“What kind of place is this?” Earth asked, bouncing.
“FLAME...this is an ADULT novelty shop...” Flood hissed.
