10:53am - Free
I wasn't planning on writing in you ever again journal. I wanted to forget everything that happened, but that's not possible. I haven't told my mom or dad or Katie or Ryne or even Casey. No one knows. They asked, but I can't talk.
Something happened yesterday. I was out with Katie when I saw him. I saw Ryan. He saw me too. I just froze. My heart skipped a beat. I know it did. I could feel it. Katie noticed where I was looking and she asked if I knew him. I nodded but didn't tell her who he was. Ryan kept staring at me and I don't know why I did it, but I told Katie to stay there and I started walking toward him.
When I reached him, he smiled. "I'm glad you're okay." Mhm. "I need to ask you something." Have you been following me? "I haven't, no, but this is important. I want you to tell me the truth." I just nodded. "Who was it that shot me? I know it was the Gallina's, but whose crew?" I don't know. "I told you not to lie to me Kyles." I can't tell you.
After I said that, I heard someone coming up behind me. I thought it was Katie so I turned around to tell her to go away because I didn't want her to get hurt, but when I turned around, it was Alessandro. "Who was it Kylienna?" I need to get back. I started to leave, but that's when Alex grabbed my arm. Let go! I'm not going back with you! "You're free to go once you tell us who it was." I looked over at Katie and I could tell she was getting worried because she had her cell phone out and was just staring at us.
I can't tell you. I had put my head down and Ryan turned me to face him and put his hand under my chin and tilted my head up to him. He pushed my hair back where it had fallen in front of my eyes. "You have to tell me Kyles. No one's going to hurt you, okay? Just tell me who it was." I don't want to be a part of it. "You tell me and we're done." You'll kill him. "No I won't." Then Alex will. "Kyles..." Carmine... I whispered it so quietly I didn't think they heard me, but they did.
They let me go after that. Katie asked what had happened and I told her not to worry about it, that everything was fine. I really hope everything is fine.
Right now, I feel very strange. I'm free? Maybe in a way. What about the others though? What about them? And now Ryan will just find someone else to take my place won't he? Even if I say something, the cops won't do anything. Besides, I know I'm being watched now by someone.
I really don't think this will ever end.
