The Distraction

The Fake Lover

Chapter Seven

It wasn't a particularly warm day. The air was cool and crisp even this late into the afternoon and most people were bundled up in sweaters and scarves. This was pretty normal for this time of the year as it was still only midway through Spring. Summer was fast approaching, but it was still far enough away to leave Ohjiro pulling his jacket around himself.

He'd been waiting for just a couple of minutes now but the other students were quick to dissipate. No one else liked hanging around this place for too long but Ohjiro waited by the car park for Ryo to show up.

It was almost twenty minutes after the classes let out that he finally saw him coming out of the building. He was wearing a red leather coat that showed off his chest and shoulders really well. Ohjiro couldn't keep his eyes away as the senior made his way over. “Sorry for making you wait so long, cutey,” Ryo said, giving him a kind smile.

The younger boy started to wonder why he even doubted all of this in the first place. “I didn’t wait.. too long..”

“Well, that’s good.” Ryo led him over to his car, a bright red convertible. Ohjiro’s mouth dropped. “Well, get in then.”

“Uh, right…” The boy quickly got into the passenger side and buckled his seat belt. This all felt really exciting now. Why was he so worried in the first place?

Ryo jumped into the driver’s seat and turned on the ignition. The engine roared to life and it pulled out of the car park. "So," he said over the sound of the wind, "how did they drag you into the modeling thing?"

Ohjiro shrugged his shoulders. Nothing had happened really; they just dragged him out of the hallway and to the photography room. "Physically," he said and Ryo burst into laughter.

"Yeah, those guys are nuts," he exclaimed as he turned the car into the parking lot of a mall, "and they're going to get worse now that they've sunk their teeth into you."

"Will I even be able to go to classes anymore?"

"Yeah, they're only allowed to do that on Tuesdays."

Ohjiro just nodded as Ryo pulled into a parking space. The place was crowded, just like every mall was after the schools let out. It was a bit of an odd place for a date, Ohjiro thought, but then he had never actually been on one before. He had no idea what to expect as Ryo jumped around the car and pulled the door open for him. “Thank you,” Ohjiro said, smiling at him.

Ryo smiled back and walked inside with him. There were people everywhere, including other young couples out on dates, though the majority, if not all of them, were boy and girl pairings. Ohjiro started feeling out of place; even here it seemed like it was expected for couples to be opposite genders, but then he felt Ryo take his hand, and his uneasiness started to settle.

They just wandered around the mall for a while, casually looking through the stores together. They were getting along well, despite the older teen not being bashful about his intentions. Though despite the forwardness that Ryo was exhibiting, Ohjiro was really enjoying himself and the time he was spending with the senior.

"You know what? I think that looks great on you." Ryo circled around Ohjiro slowly as the younger boy modeled an expensive coat.

"Well, yeah," replied Ohjiro as he felt around for the price tag, "but there's no way I could ever afford something like this."

"Call it a gift then," Ryo said smoothly, sliding down the zipper of the jacket and running a hand over Ohjiro's stomach.

Ohjiro blushed wildly as he took a hesitant step back. “U-uh… No, that’s okay. You don’t have to do that.”

“But what if I want to?” The young man smiled lightly at the younger boy. “Really, it’s no trouble at all. It’s not like I’m poor or anything.”

"I guess," said Ohjiro, trailing off as he slid the coat from his shoulders. It was made of wool and came down to his knees with the double-breasted trench design.

"So, you want anything else? Maybe we could get you some delicious little panties or something."

The younger boy’s blush went to a very deep shade of scarlet. “N-no! I don’t nee anything like that!”

“Oh, come on. It’ll be exciting when we first… well... I think you know,” Ryo told him, leaning closer and kissing him on the lips.

The simple action felt odd, though. With Gerrard, the kisses were warm and shy, but with Ryo’s… there was nothing shy about it, the way the older boy licked lightly at Ohjiro’s lips, causing his mind to just completely freeze up in shock.

Ryo pulled away just another moment later, grinning down at the poor blushing boy. “So, let’s go take a look at some of them, hm?”

“S-s-some of what???”

“Some sexy panties for that cute butt of yours, of course.”

Ohjiro shook his head furiously, feeling more embarrassed. “N-no!”

"Suit yourself, pretty boy," Ryo smirked and wandered over to the counter with the coat. Ohjiro just stared after him for a minute before finally willing himself to walk over. After all, despite the guy’s boldness and brashness, he was still here for him and was even buying him a very expensive coat.

The rest of the date was just like your normal high school date. They went around the mall more and eventually ended up getting a bite from the food court. Ohjiro just sat and stared at the greasy cheeseburger that was slopped in front of him. Still, with the unnecessary urge to not upset Ryo, he reached out and took a few small, tentative bites.

“If you don’t like it, you can go ahead and order something else,” Ryo told him, watching him closely.

Ohjiro swallowed the food, starting to get a little nervous again. “N-no, it’s okay, really.”

“Is it? You don’t seem too happy, Ohjiro.” The older boy’s eyes never left him.

"Well, it's just..."

"Not a fan of fried food, then?"

"Not really," Ohjiro sighed, shaking his head lightly.

"You should have said something before," said Ryo, an annoyed tone curling around the edges of his words. Ohjiro wondered if he'd upset the guy but he just pulled out a wad of cash and handed some to Ohjiro. "Go get yourself whatever you want then, I'll wait here."

"Um, sure," said Ohjiro, glancing between the money and Ryo. Was this for real? Deciding not to fight it, Ohjiro got to his feet and had a short look around the food court. The place was pretty packed, so he went straight for the quietest looking place, a salad bar. After all, who likes salad bars these days?

He approached the line by the counter but stopped dead as he neared the register. Standing at the back of the line was Gerrard.
