Chapter 7
Wasting little time, they walked quickly down the streets, and entered into a worn-down building with only the occassional patch not in dire need of maintenance. The staircase smelled foul, but that didn't matter. A few steps down and they reached the basement doors, one of which was quickly opened when Kiyoshi fished out his key.
The apartment was in little better condition; most of the furniture was rather worn down, and there was a bit of litter around near the television. Over twenty empty beer bottles around the living-room gave away that this wasn't exactly the neat-freak camp, and Kiyoshi flashed an apologetic smirk. "Sorry about how this looks..."
Well, at least nobody was there.
It probably mirrored how Nele's apartment would have looked if he had ever lived alone. He shrugged as he gave the place a careful once-over. "About how what looks? I don't see any problems." That said, he took off his shoes and took a couple steps forward, only to decidedly stop and turn back to Kiyoshi. What on earth was going through that guy's mind? "You should see my place. Animals coming out of the woodwork everywhere."
Kiyoshi seemed a bit surprised at that concept, but soon appeared to forget about that. He closed the distance between them, draping his arms over Nele's shoulders and letting out an exaggerated sigh. "See, less people!" He mumbled lazily in a playfully cheerful voice.
"Wow, you're right!" Finally some physical contact with the right man! It was about goddamn time! Nele grinned and reached over to teasingly carress the man's face. No, he was too impatient to beat around the bush, so he went for it. He pressed his lips to Kiyoshi's and soon enough found himself parting them with his tongue.
Kiyoshi curved his neck and tilted his head to the side, thus making it way easier for Nele to reach up. He eagerly returned a series of quick kisses - with his hand behind Nele's head keeping their lips from disconnecting in between. When they pulled back and gazed at each other, he grinned lightly. "Anything you want to see?"
Of course there were tons of possible answers to that question, though Nele was sure plenty of those possibilities were far from the subject at hand. With his hormones spiking, straying from said subject was out of the question. He nodded and made a show of eyeing Kiyoshi's body before flashing a bright smile. "A tour would be nice."
The Japanese smirked. "Alright." He moved over to the door near them and opened it. "Bathroom..." he said playfully as he slipped his other arm behind Nele's back, nudging him forward to see the amazing wonders of a toilet, a sink and a shower.
"Awesome!" Nele faked an amazed expression as he looked over the room. Not exactly the room he was interested in, but patience was supposed to be some kind of virtue. He look over at the other man and tried his luck at mind-reading. No success. Damn. "And next?"
With a lazy chuckle, Kiyoshi guided him over to the door hidden away in a corner. "My bedroom..." he said lightly, opening the door to reveal a rather cramped room. Not that it was too tiny, but there were two beds, a desk and a chair, which meant virtually no empty floor space. Upon seeing the figure on a bed, he added darkly, "... and that's Takuya, my roommate."
The yellow-haired guy stretched out as he gazed at them for a bit. He was dressed in a bright orange t-shirt and blue sweat pants, his short hair standing up because of his purple headband. "Oh look, a miniature! Where did you get him? Are they on sale?" He broke off into a lazy chuckle, quirking a brow and looking Nele's body over.
Blood boiling, it took all of Nele's self control not to hurt that guy. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to fight Kiyoshi's roommate if he didn't want to be kicked out. Instead, his lip curled up in a grimace and he crossed his arms. "Fuck you, dick-rag."
Takuya laughed. "He even can swear? I like him... he's cute. Like a human chihuahua!"
With a light groan, Kiyoshi tugged Nele forcefully backwards and out of the room, closing the door with his foot before ushering him back towards the couch with a sigh. "Takes a bit of time getting used to him." He smirked momentarily before adding reassuringly, "we can gang up on him later."
It took a few moments to get over those insulting remarks. After a heated glance back toward the bedroom door, Nele took a seat on the couch and let the words finally register. "... If he's a friend of yours, there must be something good about him, I guess... Chihuahua, my ass..."
While moving over towards the last door, Kiyoshi talked over his shoulder. "Something good about Takuya? Well, yeah... it took me a few weeks to notice, though, because he's really good at hiding it." When he got there, he knocked on it, then opened the door when no answer came. After a quick peek inside, he turned to Nele. "If you want to see the other bedroom, there's noone in here at the moment..."
Pushing the comment aside for the moment, he got up again and curiously made his way to join Kiyoshi. He looked over the other bedroom and frowned. It was much cleaner and bigger than the other room, with just one double bed. He couldn't help but wish that had been Kiyoshi's room instead, but nothing could be done about that. The idiot in the other room was simply something he'd have to accept if he wanted his desired Japanese man to accept him. "Whose room is this? Luo's or that other guy's?"
That was considered for a little bit until Kiyoshi seemed to understand what he meant. "Yeah... Luo and Kyun sleep here." He said in a serious tone, before adding lightly, "they're nice about the double bed, though. If someone else of us bring in a guy or a girl, they let us use it."
"Oh..." He blinked at the bed. Who would have thought that jerk Luo was with that cool guy, Kyun? Poor Kyun. To each his own. Nele inched closer to Kiyoshi and slipped an arm around the guy's waist. "So four of you live here? Is it fun living with your friends like this?"
"Five," Kiyoshi corrected, "although we were eight at one point. That was overly cramped, but five is okay." He paused for a bit as he returned the gesture, pulling their bodies tightly together. He seemed slightly uneasy about something, but it was hard to figure out what. "Fun... yeah, for sure. Isn't exactly a boring lot."
"I can't imagine eight people. Leandor is a handful enough when it's just him and me, but few people is probably best. I have lots of animals there sometimes." He flashed a playful grin and absently gave Kiyoshi a drawn out once-over. "My landlord hates my guts. He can't wait to find a reason to boot me out."
The Japanese followed the glance for a bit, then slid a hand into the red hair. Moments later, he pulled Nele's head to his so that he could put his nose into it. That warm breath of Kiyoshi's against his skin...
They were interrupted by a key going into the lock, and soon Luo had entered the apartment. He had obviously been out training, both from the get-up and the amount of sweat. He flashed a brief, friendly smirk as he moved past them and towards the fridge in the kitchen corner of the room.
Great. That guy of all people. Maybe it was silly to still be sore about their first meeting, but he couldn't help it. Nele frowned, not quite wanting to let go of Kiyoshi just yet, but a quick glance at his watch made it obvious he had somewhere else to be. He looked up into the other man's eyes, and gently pulled down on the front of Kiyoshi's shirt to treat the guy to a kiss. "I should go. I'm late for work... But..." He paused to think, and then took a small card out of his pocket. It was a business card, but had his personal numbers. "Whenever you have time, let's go out somewhere, okay?"
Bringing a thumb up to graze his cheek, the Japanese seemed quite happy about that bit. "When do you get off work?" He asked mildly before casting a quick glance over at the taller youngster.
That was always a tough question. He did a lot of overtime, and there was no telling when there would be some emergency. Still, he had to assume it would be a good day to get off on time. "Around five if I'm lucky." He reluctantly pulled away and headed toward the door to slip into his shoes.
"Alright... I might call you later tonight, then." Kiyoshi leaned casually against the wall, his eyes wandering over the redhead's body. Not even when Luo walked past them again and headed into the bathroom did he divert them; that was probably a good sign.
He nodded, and took one last long glance, wanting to imprint that image into his mind. If for some reason he didn't get to see that face again that night, it was sure to fuel some fairly questionable fantasies. Clearing his throat, he smiled sheepishly and then exited the suite. "See ya..."
