One Life To Another

Chapter 7: Under the graves & Emily's safe.

The next morning i woke up to Jamie's hand on my shoulder. I rubbed my eyes and looked up at her.

"We are ready" she said handing me a shovel.

I took it and stood up. I looked down at my parent's graves once again. Then i started to dig where it said on the note, later being helped by Mike.

"Are you alright kid?" asked Mike looking at me. I was sweating like a pig.

"Yeah.. im alright" i answered not looking at him, just staring at my mom's grave.

I sat down and wiped the sweat off my forehead with my arm. Mike was still digging. About 5 more minutes after i continued helping. About 15 more minutes after that i felt something at the bottom. I moved the dirt away and i found a trap door.

"I found something!" i shouted up from in the hole.

Mike jumped down into the hole with me. We both pulled together at the trap door and it opened. It was really dark down there.

"Hold on im going to get the flashlight from the car" said Mike climbing out of the hole again.

I put my head inside the hole and looked. It was a huge hallway. As i lifted my head back up Mike had jumped back into the hole.

"Got it" he said turning it on.

The rest of the the people that was with us jumped down into the hole with us, and by then Mike and i had climbed down the stairs into the long hallway. We walked down the hallway. There were a whole bunch of rooms. We tried every room and they were all locked. Untill we got to about the middle of the hallway.

"This one is open!" shouted Alex opening up the door slowly.

I ran beside him and walked inside. There was a table in the middle of the room, with chairs all around it. It was sort of like a meeting place. I walked to the other side of the room and there was another door. I turned the knob but it was locked.

"Hey i found a key!" shouted Kayla holding up a key.

"Where did you find that?" I asked.

"It was under the table" she answered handing me the key.

I tried the key on the door and it opened. I went inside and it was a closet. I looked around and seen a fridge. I opened it and there were vials of blood everywhere. 'Im guessing vamps hang out here' i thought to myself closing the fridge. I heard a door slam in the room where the rest of them were. I ran to see what was going on. I seen 3 vamps in the room blocking the door.

"Where is Emily!" demanded Jamie.

I walked over and stood beside Jamie.

"The girl is fine, she is in another room with the other vamps" the middle vamp said.

"Where, i want to see her!" i demanded.

"Get him boys" said the middle vamp. The other two came over to me and grabbed me.

"Let me go!" i damanded kicking and struggling. I bit one of their arms.

"Ow you little rat!" he yelled and dropped me.

I got up and hissed at them.

"Leave me alone! and let me have my sister back!" i yelled getting really frustrated.

My eyes started glowing red. I turned around and looked at Mike and everyone. I pointed towards the closet i was in before and told them to go in there and close the door. Then i turned back around facing the vamps. I ran at the left one and kicked him into the wall and he was out cold. I bit the right one and sucked all of his blood and he fell. Then the middle one and i were standing there staring into eachothers eyes.

"Where is my sister" i asked again.

He jumped at me and held me against the wall. I hissed at him and he punched me in the stomache and let go. I fell to the floor holding my stomach.

"Oh.. you stupid asshole!" i yelled as i got up and bit his leg. He screamed in pain and kicked his leg but i wouldn't let go. He fell to the floor. I finally let go and pinned him down.

"You basterd!" i yelled as i stabbed him with a knife i had in my back pocket. He just layed there. I got up and called the others. We left that room and ran down the hall which we havnt been yet.

"Are you okay?" asked Jamie looking at me concerned.

"Yeah.. im fine" i answered smiling at her.

I looked into a room while we were running passed it. I stopped and went back to it and looked inside. There she was. Emily was sitting at the table. I smiled. I told the others to stay out here. I turned the knob and walked inside and hugged her. I heard a noice behind me and turned around. I was surrounded by 10 different vamps.

"Haha i see you got my clues right then" said the head vamp looking at me.

I just glared back at them. Emily was hugging me tight.

"I missed you Cornelius!" she said looking up at me. I smiled at her and looked back up at the vamps.

"Please just let her, and the others get out of here, you can do whatever you want with me" i said looking at Emily.

"No Cornelius!" pleaded Emily.

"Alright.. sounds good" said the head vamp. He went into the hall.

"you guys leave, here and take Emily with you" he said as he pushed her into them"

And before anyone could say anything he closed the door. I stared around not knowing what was going to happen. They grabbed me and threw me into a room in the back and locked the door.

I was in there for 2 days, but it seemed like years. I was starving. I grabbed my stomach in pain. I wondered how Jamie and all them were doing. Someone came in, it was the head vamp. He walked over and kicked me in the stomach.

"Hungry yet?" he asked snickering.

I just glared at him. He kicked me once again, but in the face. I hissed. Then i blacked out.
