9:42pm - Mannagge
I knew they wanted something! It turns out that Ryan killed two of their men while in New York so they came here to get him back. The one I was talking to, the one who decided to keep me alive, his name is Carmine. He's with the Gallina family. I don't remember hearing about them but they're located in New Jersey. Which by the way, is where I'm at now. I really wish I had a private plane.
So this morning after I woke up, Carmine is just sitting there on the other side of the room watching me. "Good morning." Um hi. "Did you sleep well?" Yeah. What do you want anyway? "First we eat." Then we left the room and we went into the dining area I guess. He said it was a favorite breakfast of the sicilians. Granita and Brioche. I was scared to eat it at first, but he told me it was fine. I was starving anyway.
After we ate we went to what I guess was the living room. We just sat down and talked. He asked what my relationship to Ryan was. I hadn't told him about that yet... I really didn't want to tell him because I was scared that maybe he'd make me do it, too, so I just said that Ryan was like my boss. "Your boss?" Yeah. "What type of boss?" The type that tells you what and what not to do I guess. "What type of work do you do for him?" I just make money for him you know. Like selling products. "What kind of products?" Body stuff... "You're a prostitute." I'M NOT A PROSTITUTE! "Touchy. You're parents owe money or something?" No... "Tell me then." What's to tell? "You don't want to do it. He kidnapped you." And so did you. "I got you away from him." And you're going to tell me that you won't make me do the same thing! "Yes." I don't believe you.
I believe him partially now. He said that he can take me home once everything is over with. Back to my parents. That's what I'm not so sure I believe.
Carmine is a capo like Ryan is. He told me that a capo is a person who has their own crew. They report directly to the Don. That's the head of the family. Their Don is Vincent Graziano but he's in prison I guess. He said that right now the one who is acting for him is Steven Baratta. He also told me that the Gallina and Sapienza families are in a mannagge right now. I have no idea how to speak Italian, but anyway, it basically means they hate each other.
I'm stuck in the middle of a big problem.
