The Truth Behind The Mask
chapter 6
Chapter 6
Humans are defined not just by the genetic makeup. We are not just DNA, letters connected to letters in a twisting helix. We could also be defined by the circumstances that surrounded our life. Humans are also their own emotions, beliefs and point of views.
Luke Winter was a classical example of this. Bitter, cunning, sly and deadly. Let me introduce to you, our leading villain - also victim in pain.
His father was such a wreck the night Henry dismissed him without so much as a feeling of pity. He began a down hill spiral that ended in his death. He had always been a egoist man - overconfident - especially when it came to dominating the relationship he had with Henry. Aaron took Henry for granted. He was enjoying a side dish with his main meal more often then not. And when Henry Hampton woke up, he snapped right out of the rose tinted enchantment cast over him...and wrestled back his tattered heart.
A slight push and Aaron's pillar torn itself away, leaving him to tumble down as the Earth shake beneath him. He could no longer be the man he was, for underneath his confidence, Henry was his guiding light both in work and love.. The insight to his working decisions, the hidden intelligence that keep him from being bankrupt. Henry's love kept him feeling wanted and needed, something he lacked in his marriage.
Alcohol began to be a regular influence in his life. His wife became his ex-wife. Yes he was a married man. Yes, Henry Hampton knew about her. And she knew about him. But due to the numbers after the dollar sign that her husband was worth, she would not sign the divorce papers. In fact, she utterly refused to. She was married to him by name and still entitled to use his rank and money. A loveless marriage to begin with, now a abusive one. That was when she realised half his money and her life in tact was worth more then all of his. Beside she no longer wants Luke to live in this kind of nightmare....She was a bad wife, but she was an excellent mother.
Always the tactical thinker, she was blinded to the fact that she was still fighting for her husband's love. She was still jealous and did not want to just hand him over to Henry. Hell has no wrath like a woman's scorned.
Too bad, she didn't find out her husband was using her son as a replacement. A sexual release and emotional punching bag. He was sweet, bitter, rough, gentle all rolled into one. It was enough to drive a twelve year old mad. But with all things related to physical sex, Luke's brain developed a twisted sense of anger. He thought it was all Henry Hampton's fault that his beloved father had turned to this...conveniently forgetting that Aaron could not care less about his family before the breakup. He was a selfish man that seek nothing more then self pleasure.
It one person's subjective views and their sense of justice to a perceived wrong that could bring out the murderer that seemed to lurked around in everyone of us.
In this case Luke did not want to kill Henry. He wanted to strip the man of everything he had. He wanted his spirit broken, his body tortured and his soul damned for all eternity. Then he wanted a taste of what this man had that drove his father wild. He wanted to fuck him raw, in anger, in ropes, in chains - Henry will be his - like when he should have been his father's. It was time to set in motion a plan he hatched ten years ago. He was not going to let Henry kill himself. He would wish for it but Luke will not allow it. It payback time. And payback would be a real bitch! After all there nothing you could not buy, isn't that right? Especially when you have close ties to the Mafia.
And his idiotic pawn was making it sooooo easy.
All he need to do was spread his legs, moaned and groaned and all the family's secrets just came rolling out of Eric Hamilton's big mouth. Honestly, he could robbed the man blinded with all the things he was told. Good thing he himself was not after gold, but a piece of man flesh.
The door was thrown open with a massive bang
Eric has arrived
He sigh loudly - this was going to have to end soon.
But for now let the play begin, pull back the curtains, let the director/main lead/producer show you the performance of a lifetime - And the name of the play:
"The Capture and Downfall of Henry Hampton"
