Trust Us

AN: hey everyone sorry for the long wait for the next chapter. I have been having a bit of trouble figuring out what was going to happen in this one. Just like I'm going to have trouble with the next one and my new beta hasn't really sent my the modifications to my beginning chapters so i didn't know if i had to change the where I was headed but since i hadn't heard i thought i might give you this chapter once i was done. So I hope you enjoy it since it might take me another while for the next one to be written.

Chapter 5

A loud crash could be heard from down the street from a small brick house, another crash sounded as a chair was thrown out the back window, a guy with shoulder length light pink hair with a long silver streak in his fringe, one green and one dark brow mismatched eyes, he stood at 6 feet 5 inch’s and had a sturdy build breathed heavily, he clenched his hands into fists as he gritted his teeth in anger.

“Woooooah there Soul, keep this up and she wont have a home left to come back to” a guy with slicked back blond hair and gold eyes laughed as he lounged on a single lounge chair.

“Shut the fuck up Tyson” the guy Soul replied and stalked around the room.

“Come on Soul, do you really believe those Kago bastards would really do anything to her” A woman’s voice said as the woman moved from his path.

“Don’t speak Rin unless you want to be the focus of my anger” Soul growled and grabbed his phone and dialled in the same number he had been trying since the night before.

“Hi! Hayley's answering machine is broken. This is her refrigerator. Please speak very slowly, and I'll stick your message to myself with one of these small fruit shaped magnets. OH! and if your Soul………STOP FUCKING RINGING" the answering machine on the other end said in the woman he was trying to call voice, Soul growled again and hung up the phone.

“Man she has a set of lungs” Tyson laugh hearing the girl’s voice from where he sat.

“Why do you care anyway Soul she’s just a human” Rin sighed and sat on the arm of Tyson’s seat.

“You wouldn’t understand” Soul replied and sighed before falling onto a half broken two seater lounge. “You’ve seen her, it’s like she has the voice of a Siren and the looks of Aphrodite herself” he added and punched the lounge under him.

“Fuck man you are totally whipped but I have to agree she’s very sexy, I can just see the guys from Kago trying to get her into their beds” Tyson replied making Soul jump up again and paced the length of the room.

“She’s MINE, I wont let them have her” he raged before stopping and calming down. “We just need to wait till Levin gets here, then he’ll tell me where he’s taking her things and I’ll go over to there and get her back, I’ll explain what happened and we will be together again” he told them with a slight crazed look.

“You’ll explain what happened. Soul think about that would she really believe you when you tell her you and I where so adrenalin pumped from a fight we fucked to get rid of the excess adrenalin” Rin stated heatedly, she had watched Soul and Tyson talk since they got there that morning, she hated the fact that he was so hung up on that human woman he had been seeing and was quite happy they had been caught.

“Rin so help me, the next thing I throw will me a knife at you if you speak again. Don’t think I don’t know your happy about this, you never liked Hayley even when I first introduced you two, Hayley had been nothing but nice and hospitable when ever you where around and all you ever did was complain” Soul replied icily. “I would have been fine that day to wait till she came home like I normally do, but no you needed it then and there” he added before the sound of the house door bell rang making all their heads turn to the door as the person let themselves in. A tall guy about 7,3 tall with broad shoulders and had shaggy dirty blond hair golden brown eyes that where narrowed slightly, he wore a black business suit with a white button up under shirt and a crimson red tie. He looked around the room at each of the occupants before folding his arms over his broad chest.

“Someone explain to me why my Little Sweetheart called me up this morning to ask me to get all her things from her home here because, I quote, ‘you aren’t doing so well’.” He said and looked around the trashed living room.

“Levin where is she?” Soul asked and walked over a bit only to stop in his tracks as Levin’s emotionless eyes looked at him.

“What Did You Do To My Sweetheart?” he gritted out dangerously. “I will find out from her but I will give you a chance to tell me yourself” he added.

“HA it’s more like what did he do to Rin” Tyson laughed from his seat. Levin glanced at him and Rin who looked out the window avoiding his eyes before he looked back at Soul and raised an eyebrow at him.

“He better be joking, cause if I’m correct and he’s telling the truth, I’m going to kill you for putting her though this” he said before unfolding his arms and lifted his right hand out in front of him with his fingers apart, a yellow ball of energy appeared in his hand before it burst shining it’s light around the room and in the other rooms as well. “I’ll give you until all her stuff has transported into the boxes on the Ute to explain and beg for forgiveness” he added and moved to the broken lounge.

“What the hell is up with you men, she’s a fucking human, she has no clue what the fuck we are. What we do and who we do it to. What do you think she will do if she found out huh? Tell the other human scum, she will have to be killed either way” Rin raged from where she sat and clenched her hands into fists, before she could say anything else Levin was in front of her with his hand around her neck squeezing her wind pipe.

“Continue to talk like that Rin and no one will ever find your body. You’ll know I’ll do it to Rin.” He hissed before letting go of her neck, she fell to the floor gasping for breath as Tyson laughed at her.

“I didn’t mean to do it Levin. Those Kago bastards followed me from the club yesterday arvo, I led them to a warehouse where Rin and Tyson where hanging out in, we fought, they got the worst of it and you know how it us with us, too much adrenalin in our system I headed home to wait for Hayley to come home, Rin followed we got here adrenalin continued to spike somehow we ended up on mine and Hayley’s bed having sex” Soul explained as he sat down on the broken lounge, he placed his elbows on his knees and placed his head in his hands. “Hayley came home early and I didn’t even hear her come home or hear her leave” he said into his hands before he clenched his hands together like he was praying. “When Rin left and Hayley wasn’t home yet, I got worried and started ringing her phone over and over, she wouldn’t answer I feared that her car broke down again and someone hurt her. She finally picked up later that night and that’s when I found out she was here, that she saw what she did. I understand that she didn’t want to hear me explain, especially since i would have to lie and I understand she needs some time away but damn it they know where she is. That pervert answered her phone” Soul said jumping up and started to pace.

“What do you mean Soul? Who are they and who’s the pervert” Levin replied calmly as he sat where Soul vacated.

“Those Kago bastards we fought, Frost, Darkmoon and Hattle. You know which one is the pervert” Soul replied. “After Hayley hung up I continued to ring but she turned her phone off, then at about midnight I ring again and the pervert picks up, tells me he happened upon the phone after she went to bed, he hinted that he over heard our conversation from before and that he saw her in just a towel. A towel Levin. They know about my relationship with her, He told me it will be my fault if they are ordered to kill her because of what I did to drive her away and he’s right” Soul finished with an angry sigh.

“Hmmmm I guess that those Kago guys are the new friends she told me about” Levin said thoughtfully.

“Wow really, fuck she’s not as innocent as we believe” Tyson laughed finding the whole situation funny , he didn’t really care what happened either way as long as he got a laugh out of it.

“Shut up Tyson” Levin stated. “We don’t know that for sure but I’ll find out today when I take her stuff, don’t do anything stupid Soul and don’t think about following me to her new place. I’ll make sure she’s safe” he added and looked at Soul. “Though i don’t understand why she just didn’t come to my place in the first place. Oh well” Levin shrugged and got up. “I wont kill you Soul but you hurt her again i really will kill you” he added as the yellow light faded away from all the rooms.

“Levin tell me where she is staying please, if those guys are there I need to protect her” Soul almost begged.

“You know if she sees you there will be less chance of getting her back and just put her in more danger” Levin said and sighed. “Let me handle it for now, if i believe she is in more danger then i can handle.....heh....then I’ll call you” he added with a small laugh.

“You better Levin” Soul replied and headed to another room. “Damn it did you have to take EVERYTHING of hers, couldn’t you have left like a shirt or something” he yelled as Levin walked out of the house leaving Tyson to laugh at Soul’s unfortunate state and Rin to try and calm him down.

Levin walked over to a black Holden VZ Ute that had been parked on the other side of the road with boxes piled in the back that had been filling up with his friend’s things without anyone’s knowledge, he climbed into the driver’s seat, he closed the door and sat back with a sigh before he pulled down the sun visor and looked at a picture he had taped to the back of it and smiled slightly, the picture showed himself smiling and leaning over with his arms around the shoulders of a quite smaller and younger woman with long straight black hair that became wavy at the end and light blue eyes that where lit up as she laughed in the photo, she had her hands up holding onto his arms that where around her and a laughing smile on her face.

“Oh Hayley what have we gotten you into” he muttered tracing his finger over the girls cheek before pushing the visor back up and started the Ute.

He drove back to his apartment and headed up, to do some research before he headed over to his friends new address. He walked into the apartment and pulled off his suit jacket while loosening his tie, he placed his jacket on the coat hook on the back of the door before walking into another room full of computer equipment and screens against the opposite wall from the door, each computer screen had something different on them, one had satellite information displaying many different peoples locations including Soul, Rin and Tyson who where still in Souls house.

Levin walked over to a leather computer chair and sat down in front of the key board. ‘Lets see what the Kago boys have been up to’ he thought and typed in each of the guys names.

Hayley walked around her parent’s house and made a list of everything she wanted to do to the place once Levin came over. On her way past the lounge she scratched the dog on the head and turned on the radio that was next to the T.V and changed the station to her favourite one and let the lyrics of Paramores song ‘that’s what you get’ fill the house.

“That’s what you get when you let your heart win Whoa” She sang along and danced by the cat on her way to the table where her phone was. ‘Huh I thought I left that on the floor last night oh well’ she thought with a slight frown before shrugging and turned it back on so that she could text her job to tell them she wasn’t going to come in that day. “Now that’s done I can get started on making this place mine” she said happily though it still hurt her that she wasn’t with Soul anymore but she would suck it up and deal with it like most of the things in her life.

“Right what’s first?” she asked out loud before looking at the animals. “I should go shopping for your stuff and some pet food” she said before hearing the wolf growl at her. “Ok, ok no pet food. I’ll have to get a couple more books from the library then about wolf, German shepherd and cat’s diets Oh! But then again L will be getting my Laptop from Souls, I’ll still go just in case nothing comes up in the net good enough” she said and sighed. “Troublesome wolf” she muttered with a slight smile and moved to get her keys. “Ok be good while I’m gone you three, I promise I’ll be back before L gets here” she said happily before grabbing her jacket and headed out.

Driving to the library didn’t take as long as she thought nor finding the books she needed to fix up different food for her new pets, once she checked out the books she headed to the shopping centre and parked her car, she placed the books in the glove compartment and got out of the car. ‘Now I need fresh meat for the animals and myself, probably more ramen and probably veggies and coke’ she thought on her way into the shopping centre.

Hayley moved down the isles looking and picking anything and everything she might have needed for her parents place and herself, since her parents lawyer had someone come to the house to clean up and had put some food in the cupboards she didn’t need to buy much. She walked down the pet food isle and looked at the animal accessories with a small happy smile; she picked up a couple of long dog leads and checked them out before placing them into the basket she carried on her arm before she checked out a white cat harness/leash as well and placed it next to the black and yellow leashes. She went to look at the collars and didn’t find any there she liked enough for her new pets. ‘Bugger I’ll have to go to an actual pet shop’ she thought and inwardly groaned at how much it will be.

Another couple of hours went by before she parked in front of her parent’s house and picked up the plastic bags from the back and headed into the house; she looked around for her new pets and didn’t see them in the lounge room as she went though to the kitchen.
“I’m home” She called out in case they were in another room, as she opened up the cupboards and plastic bags to put the stuff away she heard the sound of 4 light paws running down the hall way and into the kitchen before the weight of the cat landed on her shoulder and rubbed it’s head against her cheek. “Hey Scar” she said and kissed the cat on the cheek. She turned slightly and saw the dog and wolf standing at the door way looking at her. “Hey Saber, Randy. I got you three a surprise” she said and laughed softly as the wolf growled at her again.

Once she had finished putting the food away she took the last plastic bag into the lounge room. She placed the bag onto he coffee table with her handbag and keys and sat on the lounge, she gently pulled the cat off of her shoulder and placed him on her lap with a smile.

“Come on boys or no surprises” she called to the German shepherd and the wolf before they came in and the dog jumped up onto the seat next to her while the wolf moved to one of the spare single chairs and glared at her.

“Ok you three, while I was out I had to get these for you” she said happily and clapped her hands before scratching both the dog and the cats ears before picking up the bag and pulled out two large dog collars and one small cat collar.

“I thought that since you guys where mine now that i’d give you proper collars since I didn’t think you guys would like to be micro-chipped” she said with a smile and picked up the cats collar and showed it to the cat.

“I thought this one would suit my Scar perfectly, it’s even got a bit of elastic though it to, just in case you grow a bit more” she said as that cat pawed at the collar a little. The collar was light blue with dark blue sequins sowed into it and a starling silver army like dog tag with the cats name on it and her phone number on it.

“What you think baby boy? Like it?” She asked and watched as he continued to bat at it, looking at it from all sides before standing up on its hinds, placing his front paws onto her chest and rubbed his cheek against hers.

“Awwwww you are such a cutie” she gushed happily kissing his head and helped him back onto her lap before tying the collar around his neck and adjusted it so it wasn’t choking him.

When she finished with the cat and patted him for a bit giving him quite a bit of attention, she moved slightly to face the German shepherd and rubbed his head before pulling over a thick black leather collar with silver hearts sown onto it and the same army like dog tag on it that was on the cats with the exceptions on their names.

“What you think Saber?” she asked holding it out for him to look at and watched at the dog sniffed it and gave her a small lick on the cheek, she looked over to the wolf when she heard a growl but when she looked at him there wasn’t an indication that he did so she shrugged and smiled at the dog in front of her.

“I’m glad you like it, it took a while to look for something that would look good against your white fur and had elastic though it like Scar’s, I had an even harder time looking for something for Randy” she said and smiled as she placed the collar around Sabers neck and adjusted it to the right size before giving him a lot of attention as well.

She picked up the last collar and placed Scar onto the lounge, she got up and walked over to the wolf and knelt in front of him with a small smile. “I know you don’t like the name I gave you, I just thought it matched you since Randi in old English means Shield Wolf. You shielded Saber when we met yesterday and well your a wolf” she said and smiled before holding up a purple leather collar with light purple swirl patterns sown into it and had the same dog tag and the others but had a different name on it then the name she kept calling him, instead of saying Randi it said Ookami.

“Ookami means wolf in Japanese” she said and waited to see what he would do. “But if you don’t like that i can always put the spare tag with Randi on it if you want” she added and watched as the wolf let out a hard breath through its nose before he jumped down from the chair landing next to her and walked over to the bag with his nose looking away. Hayley smiled happily and pulled off the tag and went to the bag and pulled out a small ring box with another tag inside, she replaced the tag with the one on the collar and placed the other tag onto the collar before crawling on her knees to the wolf and placed the collar around his neck. While she had her arms around the wolves’ neck she rubbed her cheek against the top of his neck happily.

“There all done, I hope you like it, it also has elastic in it” she said and kissed the wolf on the head ignoring his small growl.

AN: I apologies again about how long i left you waiting. I was kind of thinking of posting one of my other stories in apology but i wasn't sure since in all my stories i have the same characters though maybe with different backgrounds and maybe a bit different personalities but basically the same. If you want me to please tell me and if I get enough support i just might put it up. ^_^ thank you for reading.
