Chapter Six
Hey guys! Sorry this chapter is kind of short, I just didn't want to drag it out any longer. Hopefully the next chapter will have a bit more action in it =)
Let me know what you think of it!

Chapter Six
I should have fucking said something to that smug bastard. A chick?! Is he kidding? Me? And to add the cherry to the cake, I have to work with said amazingly hot bastard who fucked me. Am I unlucky or what? “Ohh my name’s Awan and I happen to be a top rated chief (pardon the pun) in the design world.” Well buddy, I’m sure gonna get you back!
What a pain!
I paced around my lounge area, getting annoyed with the coffee table after I’d stubbed my toe on it at least twice. Who put that damn thing there anyway? Fucking Awan.
The doorbell rang and I stopped my pacing long enough to pull the door open and march back to the lounge. The door shut and footsteps made their way into the apartment.
“Woah there Jos, you’re gonna make a hole in the carpet if you keep tha’ up. What’s got you so wound up?”
Fucking Tony! I stopped long enough to glare at him; it was all his fault bringing Awan to our night out. If he hadn’t of invited him out, we would never have shacked up. Damn him. Tony crossed the room and plonked himself onto my sofa. He crossed his legs and rested his elbow on the armrest, hand cradling his head.
He regarded me calmly as I paced like a caged lion. The humiliation! Eventually I stopped pacing and sat next to him, head in my hands.
“He humiliated me at work Tone, fucking one night stand. Nooo he doesn’t date work colleagues, too complicated” Tony had known me long enough to be able to translate the jumbled sentence and left out name. He’d always been the voice of reason though, he was the only person who could calm me down and make me see sense.
He gave me a calculating look and said:
“You realise you only knew him a few hours before you jumped into bed with him right?”
I glared at his handsome face. Frigging Italian blood, why did it make him look so hot?
“Yes,” I grudgingly answered.
“Well, did you get to know him? Speak about commitment? Ask him to be your boyfriend before or after you fucked him?” He knew he was right and damn it I knew he was right too; I just didn’t want to face the fact that Awan and I might not become anything. He looked like my dream guy, his Native American heritage making him drool worthy, but his personality left something to be desired.
“No, Tony we didn’t talk much. We were otherwise preoccupied with cardio vascular activities”
He raised black eyebrow, his warm brown eyes sparking with humour.
“Well, then. He really was in his right to turn you down wasn’t he Jos?” Damn Tony and his society intellect.
I sighed. “Yes Tony I suppose he was. It’s just gonna be so awkward working together. I really liked him but he made it clear that I was just a fuck.”
“Yeah, but opinions may change. You’re working together quite intimately on this hospital project aren’t you? You’ll be spending a lot of time together. You can use it to your advantage and get to know each other better yeah?”
“I suppose you’re right. Thanks Tony,” I smiled at him. He opened his arms in a ‘come here’ gesture and I gave him a quick hug. His big muscular arms came around my thin body and almost crushed the life out of me. Ugh killer bear hug a la Tony.
“So how are things with you and that cute little blond...Andy was it?”
Tony’s face split into a huge smile.
“They’re great. We went back to his place and just chilled. He’s so adorable. I’ve never been so glad to knock someone over in the street before.”
“You guys didn’t have sex?” I asked genuinely surprised. Tony was the biggest horn dog I had ever known. He was insatiable. He grinned.
“No José, we didn’t have sex. He’s not into having one night stands; he wants to make sure we like each other before he commits to that. To be honest, I don’t really mind, it’s nice to not have the pressure of having to put out. We can just get to know each other in our own way.”
Woah, Tony sounds like he’s already smitten.
“You sound like you’re already smitten with him. You have to bring him over so I can give him my stamp of approval.”
Tony look horrified
.
“Oh no Jos. I know what you’re like. You’d chew him up then spit him back out. He’s not like the other assholes I dated who were only after my money. In fact I don’t think he even realises who I am.”
I was shocked. Most people knew of the Maioni’s. There hotel chains were renowned around London. Hell over England. Their hotel chain was called “Somnus” after the Roman God of sleep. His great grandfather had named it so to honour his wife who was enamoured with mythology. Her favourite God was Somnus, she envied his ability to seem so harmless but be able to kill with something as simple as sleep.
“Are you gonna tell him? I mean he’s gonna realise when you take him home, you’re place isn’t exactly the pits y’know?”
He sighed.
“I wanna tell him. But then he might be put off by my fame. He’s kind of a private bloke”
“Well, isn’t he gonna realise something’s up when you get a lot of looks walking down the street? What about paparazzi? How you gonna explain that one?”
He looked distraught. He normally dated the air headed guys who only looked at him for his money and fame. Andy sounded like he’d be different. This was going to be really hard on Tony.
“How about you try to bring it up casually in conversation? Or take him out to a meal at a posh restaurant. Spoil him a bit then slowly break it to him.”
He looked slightly hopeful.
“You think that’d work?”
Bless him. He had the looks; he was even good at sorting out my love life. But when it came to his own he floundered like a fish out of water.
“Look, Tony. Andy sounds like a reasonable guy. If you take him out on a nice date, treat him like a princess, I’m sure he’d be ok with it.”
“You really think so?” His face was alight with eager hope.
“I really think so Tone”
