Chapter 6
*Chapter edit: Thank you to Shivawn, who noticed that I had Matt’s dog’s name mixed up. Just to clear things up, Matt’s dog is named Hades, not Zeus.*
Chapter 6
Mallory sat down across from Matt and began unwrapping his own sandwich, before asking for about the tenth time in the past 15 minutes, “So, you don’t have any way to contact him?”
Matt sighed, “No, Mal, I already told you, I don’t know how to call him.” He could hear the red head make an exasperated sound and rolled his eyes before starting on his own burger.
It was Friday, and Mallory and him where at lunch, it was actually the first lunch they had together all week, instead Tobias and him had gone out. Each day about ten minutes before lunch, Matt would get a call from the other man, asking him out to lunch if he had no other plans. And every time, Mallory would make up some wild story on why he could no longer go, leaving Matt’s lunch time suddenly wide open. And while none of their dates had been quite as intense as the first one, they were always a lot more heated than what Matt was used to.
Actually, it was a little embarrassing. Matt always was able to keep the PDA to a minimum with any of the other guys he’s gone out with over the years, but with Tobias it was completely different. A small kiss goodbye would quickly turn into the two of them pressed against a wall in a full on make-out session, and the only reason why they would stop is because something would remind them that they were still in a public area. He almost started blushing now thinking back on it.
Today however, he hadn’t gotten the call, and since Tobias always called his work phone, he didn’t have the other’s number either.
“Are you sure you don’t have his number?”
“Mallory…” Matt said warningly, glancing up at the other. “I told you that I don’t. I’ve told you about a dozen times that I don’t.”
“I know, I know… I still can’t believe he didn’t put it on your phone or something, he had it all weekend.” Mallory mumbled.
Matt rolled his eyes again, “So, what was your excuse today going to be?”
Perking up a bit, Mallory said, “Ah, that I suddenly came down with a horrible case of Bird flu, and I needed to rush myself to the hospital immediately.”
Matt snorted, “Do you even know the symptoms of Bird flu?”
“No, not really.” Mallory shrugged.
Shaking his head slightly, Matt started on his fries, pausing when they suddenly heard music playing close by. It sounded very… sexual. Filled with moans and some girl’s voice but he wasn’t sure what it saying, because the music was also muffled. He looked around confused and saw Mallory watching him with a curious expression.
“What?” Matt asked when Mallory kept watching him.
“Aren’t you going to answer that?”
Confused, Matt asked, “Answer what?”
Mallory motioned towards Matt, “Your phone, that’s you ringing.”
Mat scoffed, “No, it’s not.”
“Yes it is. I didn’t even know you liked 2 Live Crew, let alone Me So Horny[1].”
“What? I don’t even know what you’re talking about. Look, I’ll show you that it’s not my phone.” Matt said, reaching into his back pocket to pull out his phone. But once his hand closed around it he realized that it in fact was his cell phone. He opened the phone and almost immediately dropped it when he saw the name displayed.
“What is it?” Mallory asked curious, before reaching across and plucking the phone out of Matt’s hand.
“H-Hey!” Matt protested, reaching to grab it back but Mallory pulled it out of reach, snorting when he saw the name on the front.
“Art Pimp? Who do you know whose name is ‘Art Pimp’?” Mallory asked, but before Matt could answer or protest he hit the answer button on the phone and held it up to his ear, “Hello, this is Matthew Whishing’s phone.” There was a slight pause then, “Snowball! So you’re the art pimp!”
Matt winced when Mallory practically yelled into the phone. Now noticing that they had the attention of the entire room, he slouched down in his chair, feeling his cheeks beginning to redden.
“Oh, no, it’s alright, Matt and I went to lunch together when you didn’t call.” Mallory paused as Tobias said something on the other line, “Oh, actually he was very broken up about it, really worried that something had happened to you.”
Mallory winked at Matt and the smaller male just rolled his eyes. “Tonight? Yeah, he’s really looking forward to it. All right, I’ll tell him. Talk to you later, Snowball.”
He hung up the phone and handed it back to Matt, a grin plastered on his face. “So, ‘art pimp’? I’m guessing there’s a story behind that.”
“It’s just something from our date last Friday.” Matt muttered. “What did he want?”
“Just confirming your date for tonight, and apologizing for not calling earlier. The meeting he was in ran a lot longer than he thought it would, and couldn’t call you until now.” Mallory answered, starting on his sandwich again.
“Oh, alright.” Matt said before taking another bite out of his burger.
They were silent for a little while, both enjoying their meals when Mallory suddenly said, “So, Sara told me you and Snowball almost had sex in your office.”
He grinned as Matt chocked on his mouthful of soda.
-------------------------------
It was a few minutes before seven when Matt walked up to the movie theater, looking around to see if he could spot Tobias. The air had a slight chill to it, but tonight he had come prepared for the cool weather, wearing his black leather bike jacket over top of his clothes. Matt adjusted the collar of his shirt as he glanced around a little nervous. He felt odd in his clothes, and once again brushed out the non-existent wrinkles in his shirt and pants. Deciding that he was tired of feeling so dressed down compared to Tobias, Matt had searched through his clothes to find something a little nicer looking than a t-shirt and jeans. So now he had on a dark green button up shirt and black slacks, and feeling strange because of it.
When he turned once again to scan the crowd around the theater and still didn’t see Tobias, Matt starting looking at the scenery, enjoying the friendly atmosphere of Haven. The area was exactly as the name implied, a green haven in the middle of the city. It was one of those outdoor malls, where the main attraction to it was the beautiful architecture and the numerous amounts of trees and greenery lining the streets. There were even a few parks within the mall area, all done by professional landscapers and giving the entire area a clean and amiable atmosphere.
Matt jumped when a pair of arms wrapped around him from behind, “Have you been waiting long?” He looked up and over his shoulder to see Tobias smiling down at him.
“Ah, no, just got here a little bit ago.” Matt turned around so he was now fully facing the other man and pushed Tobias’s coat from last week at him. “Here’s your coat.”
Tobias arched an eyebrow before accepting the coat, “Thank you, I’ll go put this in my car and then we can head in to the theater.”
Matt nodded and watched as Tobias disappeared into the crowd, and then doing a double take when he realized what Tobias was wearing. It looked as if he had the same idea Matt had, and he had on a pair of light colored jeans and a button up short-sleeved shirt. He shook his head laughing lightly and turned toward the theater to look through the window at the list of playtimes above the ticket booth, trying to see what would be playing soon. After a couple minutes he saw a flash of white out of the corner of his eye and turned to see Tobias heading back.
“Ready?” Tobias asked once he was within a few feet. Matt nodded and they headed into the large theater, “So what sounds good?” He heard Tobias ask as they both looked up at the display.
Matt shrugged before answering, “I don’t care, I’m easy.” Realizing the innuendo, he quickly said, “For movies! I’m easy when it comes to movies.” Noticing that had not come out right either, Matt tried again, “W-wait, what I mean is-“
Tobias cut him off by placing a hand over his mouth, “I get what you mean. And relax, I’m not going to jump you in the middle of the theater or something.” He removed his hand and Matt let out a shaky sigh.
“Sorry, I guess I’m a little tense.”
“Hadn’t noticed. So, since your easy,” He flashed Matt a smile, “When it comes to movie preference, how about an action movie?”
“Yeah, that sounds fine.”
Tobias smiled again and stepped forward to get their tickets. Matt stood back and waited, knowing by now that it was useless to argue over who paid. Tobias had made it clear after their first few dates that the only way he was going to get to pay for anything on a date, he’d have to be the one to ask Tobias out. Once the other returned with the tickets they headed into the main part of the theater, stopping at the concession stands to pick up the movie staple of popcorn and drinks, before heading down one of the large hallways.
“Let’s take these seats.” Tobias said, motioning to a pair of empty seats in the very back of the movie theater. Matt looked at him suspiciously but Tobias just smiled back, which didn’t do too much to reassure the other.
And once the movie started, Matt’s suspicions were confirmed. The movie had been playing for the past hour and all Matt knew about it was an action flick, and that there was something about a robot or a guy that could become a robot, he wasn’t even too sure about that. What he knew for certain was that it was loud, and there was no one else in their row, which he counted as a blessing since he had spent a good part of the last hour gasping and cursing Tobias.
“Tobias, s-stop it!” He whispered harshly, pushing Tobias’s hand once more away from his leg. He could hear that infuriating chuckle once again and glared over at the white haired man. Tobias looked at him innocently, well attempted to, before grinning again.
“What’s wrong, Matthew?” Tobias whispered back.
“You know exactly what’s wrong! I’m trying to watch this damn movie, and you keep feeling me up like we’re a couple of horny teenagers.” Matt accused vehemently.
“While we are not teenagers, I do believe we are both horny.” Tobias said with that damn grin still in place. Matt just stared at him shocked, how could anyone say something like that so easily? It was almost as aggravating as that damn laugh.
“No, you’re horny, I want to watch the movie.” Matt hissed, turning away from Tobias to try to focus on the movie.
“Oh, really?” He heard Tobias say next to him, before feeling that cursed hand in his lap once again, sliding up in the inside of his thigh before purposely cupping the front of his pants, rubbing lightly.
“This begs to differ.” Matt could feel Tobias’s warm breath on his neck as he whispered in his ear. He gripped the arm rests of his chair so tightly it was almost painful, biting his lip as he tried to hold back a moan, before gasping loudly as the pressure on his arousal increased.
“T-Tobias… d-don’t…” he managed to whisper, not being able to bring his self to release his death grip on the armrests to push him away.
“Why? It’s obvious you’re enjoying this.” Tobias whispered, before starting to nip on the side of his neck, eliciting even more small gasps from the brunette.
“Ah! W-wait!” He finally was able to push the hand away from him, but in the mean time got almost half of the row in front of them to turn and glare at him. He blushed wildly and mumbled an apology, slumping farther in to his seat.
He glared over at Tobias who just shrugged in response, smirking. “Like I said, what’s wrong?”
“I am not going to…” Taking a deep breath to calm him, Matt continued in a whisper, “To have sex in the middle of a movie theater!”
“We’re not in a middle of a movie theater, we’re in the back.” Tobias replied, and Matt just continued to glare, not seeing the humor in the situation at all.
“It doesn’t matter where we’re at in the theater, we are still in a theater! Now please, I really don’t want to walk out of here with a hard on so leave me alone!” Matt whispered and slumped back in his chair crossing his arms.
They sat there in silence for a couple minutes before Tobias suddenly stood up, grabbing one Matt’s arms as he did so and pulling him up.
“W-what are you doing?” Matt hissed as Tobias began pulling him down the row. Matt just had time to reach back and grab his coat before getting hauled out of the theater.
“Tobias, stop! What are you doing?!” Matt protested, tugging on his arm. Tobias grinned back at Matt and continued to pull him along. Matt was thankful however that by some miracle the theater was in one of its slow times where no movies were about to play or had just finished, so barely anyone was in theater except a few employees. Tobias was pulling him farther down the hallway, even deeper into the theater and it was confusing Matt on exactly what he was planning to do. That is until he turned them toward the bathroom almost hidden at the end of the hallway.
“No. No, no, no.” Matt started pulling on his arm with renewed earnest, “I am not having sex in a bathroom! T-that’s almost even worse than the theater!”
Tobias didn’t answer him though, just continued to drag him toward the door. Once they were inside he finally released Matt’s arm before turning around a flipping the lock on the door before walking quickly through the room, making sure they were completely alone.
“Good, we’re alone.” Tobias muttered to his self before returning to Matt, still grinning.
“W-wait, Tobias, I said no. I don’t want to have our first time since the spa be in some bathroom in the movie theater, even if it is clean in here.” Matt said, looking up at him earnestly.
Tobias’s grin faded and was replaced with a more sincere smile, before leaning down capture the smaller male’s mouth in a soft kiss. He pulled away and continued to smile down at Matt, “I wasn’t planning on going that far.”
“So, why the sudden psychotic behavior?” Matt asked suspiciously.
Tobias chuckled lightly, “I apologize for that, but it’s rather hard to keep my hands off you. And in a dark theater with no one around, the temptation was just too much to ignore.”
Matt scoffed, “Alright, well. Now that you’ve, ah, got yourself under control, can we go back now?”
His answer was Tobias once more leaning down and kissing him, this one a little bit more intense than the last one. When the kiss ended instead of pulling back again, Tobias started kissing along his jaw line, “Mmm… no.”
It took a while for his answer to soak in, but once it did Matt pushed against Tobias’s shoulders, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to think with that talented mouth working against his skin. But instead Tobias wrapped his arms around Matt’s waist and brought them closer together.
“W-wait… What do y-you mean ‘no’?” Matt managed to say, as Tobias started moving lower along his neck.
He felt more than heard the chuckle against his neck before Tobias answered him, “Don’t you remember? I made a promise never to leave you high and dry.” As he said this there was a tug at the front of his shirt that was Tobias undoing the buttons, covering Matt’s skin with nips and licks as it was revealed. He pulled back to look Matt in the eyes and smiled, “So this is me not leaving you high and dry.”
When Tobias started on his neck again Matt moaned, no longer pushing against Tobias’s shoulders, instead he was gripping them and pulling the other closer. What were they talking about? Matt wasn’t sure anymore, he just knew that whatever Tobias was doing felt amazing and he desperately didn’t want him to stop.
Tobias pushed Matt’s shirt out of the when he finished unbuttoning it but he wasn’t able to completely take it off, not with Matt’s hand still clutching his shoulders. He then slid his hands down to edge of the tank that was underneath and pulled it up to reveal the younger male’s chest. Straightening up again, Tobias began kissing Matt as his hands roamed lower.
“Mmph!” Matt’s hips jerked when a hand brushed over his groin, teasing him lightly before deftly unbuttoning the front of his pants. Matt moaned into the other’s mouth as Tobias continued to work to free his arousal from the confines of his clothes. Once he had, Tobias released Matt’s mouth and began moving lower, leaving a trail of nips, licks, and kisses behind as he went.
Matt glanced down when Tobias paused just below his navel, and their eyes met. His breath quickened as Tobias placed a hand on his stomach, flashing a grin up at Matt before leaning down to take the other male’s arousal into his mouth.
“Ah!” He almost came as soon as he felt that wet heat engulf his member. Shutting his eyes, Matt instinctively tried to thrust into the other’s mouth, but the hand on his stomach and another on his hip prevented him from doing so. His head fell forward as Tobias worked his length, and Matt gripped the taller male’s shoulders hard, almost painfully hard to hold his self back as long as he could.
But he knew he didn’t have long, after almost an hour of teasing in the theater and then the merciless intensity that Tobias had assaulted him with once they were alone, it was just too much. “Ah, ah… T-Tobias… I-I’m going to…” Matt warned, and felt Tobias redouble his efforts bringing him to his peak quickly. His head shot back as his orgasm began to take him and…
*CRACK!*
Stars erupted behind Matt’s eyes as his head connected with the ceramic tiling behind him harshly, almost causing him to pass out. Or, maybe he did pass out, because the next thing he remembered was Tobias right in front of him, holding his shoulders against the wall and looking worried. Matt could tell Tobias was saying something, but the sound of blood rushing in his ears was too much, and trying to focus on anything only made the pounding worse.
“W-what?” Matt asked, but even his own voice sounded strange and muffled. He glanced down and realized that he did indeed pass out, because he was now sitting on the bathroom floor, and his clothes were once again presentable. He looked back up at Tobias, who was still talking to him, but now his head was beginning to clear, and he could just make out the end of it.
“-alright? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Tobias asked him. Matt shook his head but stopped when pain lanced at the back of his eyes, causing him to hiss. “No, no… I’m fine.”
“You look fine.” Tobias said sarcastically, before asking, “What happened?”
Matt gestured at the back of his head before pointing back to the wall, “Head, wall, ouch.”
Tobias’s eyes widened, and he released his hold on Matt’s shoulders, brushing a hand lightly over the back of the other’s head. Matt hissed again when his fingers passed over the bump already forming. “Sorry. Wait right here.”
Matt closed his eyes to fight back the headache that was forming as Tobias got up and headed out of his line of sight. Ignoring the other’s order to stay, he pushed himself off the wall and struggled to his feet. He stumbled forward and almost went tumbling to the ground again when he felt an arm wrap around his side, holding him up.
“I said stay there.” Matt gasped when something cold and damp pressed against the back of his head.
“Sorry again. We’ll need to get you some ice to get rid of the swelling, but this might help a bit.” Tobias pulled Matt a little taller so that he could walk beside him, but still had an arm around his waist. “Are you sure your alright?”
“Yeah, some Advil and ice is all I need.” Matt muttered. He knew Tobias was looking at him suspiciously, but instead of saying anything, he handed Matt his coat before moving them both toward the bathroom door.
Matt was extremely grateful at that point that the theater was so large, since because of that there were two extra exits other than the front, so he and Tobias could walk out with out garnering too much attention. That was until they got outside, because the sidewalk was still full of people enjoying their Friday night out. Getting numerous looks from others Tobias sat Matt down on a small bench that was nearby, “Stay here, I’m going to get my car then I’ll take you home. And don’t go anywhere.”
Matt waved him off and saw Tobias jog off out of the corner of his eye. He knew why Tobias expressly told him to stay there; he was worried Matt would take off again like last week. But at the moment there was no way Matt was even going to get five feet on his own power let alone all the way home. So instead Matt let his head rest in one hand while the other kept the damp paper towel on the bump, and closed his eyes, focusing on willing his head ache away.
After a couple minutes he heard the sound of an approaching vehicle and looked up to see Tobias’s car pull up. He slowly got up and started walking over, motioning for Tobias to stay in the vehicle since there were no parking spaces in front of the theater. Thankfully the brief rest on the bench gave him some energy and focus back, and it didn’t take him quite as long as he thought it would to reach the passenger side door before slumping into the soft seat. Tobias made sure Matt’s seat belt was latched before pulling away, “Where do you live?”
“Foxbury apartments.” He could see Tobias nod out of the corner of his eye before turning down the next street. “I take it you know where that’s at?”
“Hm? Yeah, I knew some one that lived there a few years ago.”
“Oh.” They felt silent for a while after that, and it wasn’t until they were almost at the apartment that Matt spoke up again. “You’re an ass, by the way.”
Tobias looked over at him surprised before looking back at the road, “Okay…”
“’I made a promise to never you high and dry’? I highly doubt that is what Sara was talking about.” Matt continued on with a slightly sarcastic tone to his voice.
Realizing what Matt was referring to, Tobias smiled, “Well, it could’ve been.”
Now Matt smirked back, “No, that was just you wanting to molest me in a public restroom. And how did you even think of something like that right then?”
“My mind works in mysterious ways.” Now he grinned over at Matt, who just snorted.
“Mysterious, riiiiight…” Matt let his head fall back against the headrest before lurching forward again, hissing in pain.
“You alright?” Tobias asked, concerned once again.
“Yes, mother hen, I’m fine.” Matt mumbled. Glancing outside he noticed that they were only a block or two away. “Mine’s near the end of the street, number 362.”
Tobias nodded again and turned down the correct street before finding an empty spot near the building. Once parked Matt barely had time to get out of the car before Tobias was beside him, hand around his waist and helping him up to the front of the building. “Jeez, you really are a mother hen, you know that? I am able to walk on my own.”
“Matthew, you’re showing a lot of symptoms that go hand-in-hand with having a concussion. And since you refused to go to a hospital, you will have to deal with me being a ‘mother hen’. Now, keys.” He held out his hand expectantly and Matt sighed before handing them over.
It took Tobias a couple tries to find which key opened the front door, but since he didn’t let Matt do it, Matt refused to help him figure it out. When they finally got inside Matt directed him upstairs and over to his apartment door, Tobias smiled. “’Wipe your paws’?”
Matt glanced at him confused until he realized that he was talking about his doormat. “It was a gift from my parents.” He mumbled, and hearing the soft chuckle from beside him, elbowed the other man, “Would you just open the door?”
Rubbing his chest lightly but still smiling, Tobias did as he was asked, taking another couple minutes with no help from Matt to figure out which key was correct. Finding the right key he opened the door and looked around interested as he helped Matt inside. The apartment was moderate size, but looked smaller than it actually was because of the numerous boxes that occupied most of the free space of the front room.
“Did you just move in?” He asked curiously, as he flipped on the light.
“Umm, yeah, well, about a month or so ago, actually.” Matt said this casually, before finally separating his self from Tobias’s side and heading toward the kitchen for some ice. Tobias however placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him, “I’ll get the ice. You go sit down.”
Sighing Matt walked over to the couch and slumped into it, though he made sure not to hit his head when he did so. He could still feel the headache pounding at the back of his head, and after a couple minutes was about to get up and get some painkillers when Tobias returned, placing a glass of water on the coffee table in front of Matt before handing him a bag of ice wrapped in a towel.
Matt graciously accepted the ice and tenderly put against the back of his head, wincing at first before sighing as the numbing cold started to ebb away at the pain. Tobias then handed him a couple of pills before picking up the glass and handing that to Matt as well. “Take these, they should help with the headache.”
“Thanks.” Matt said before taking both pills with a swig of water. At that point Hades finally decided to come out of where he was sleeping in Matt’s bedroom to see what was going on. And, completely ignoring Matt, walked over to Tobias, setting his head in his lap and staring up at him.
Tobias looked down in interest before glancing over at Matt, “Does he want something?”
Matt laughed lightly, “No, just likes new people. Though I do need to take him out for his night walk.”
“Where do you walk him at?” Tobias asked, lightly pushing Hades’s head off his lap and standing up.
“You’re not going to walk my dog for me.” Matt protested, moving to stand as well, but Tobias stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
“No, you stay. Is it just a walk around the block or is there a park near by?” Tobias released Matt’s shoulder and headed towards the door, picking up the leash that hung beside it.
Matt frowned, “You really don’t have to do this. I can walk my own dog.” But when Tobias gave him a pointed look he sighed, “Just around the block.”
Tobias snapped the leash on Hades’s color and opened the door, “Be back in a bit.” He said, flashing Matt a smile before closing the door behind him.
When Tobias came back a few minutes later the apartment was quiet, “Matthew?”
Looking over at the couch Tobias could see Matt slumped over, presumably asleep, the bag of ice slipped from his hand and now on the floor. After releasing Hades from the leash, he walked over and placed a hand on the brunette’s shoulder, lightly shaking him. “Matthew? Wake up.”
Bleary green eyes looked up at him before closing again as he yawned, “What is it?” Matt mumbled, sitting up and looking around with a bemused expression.
“You fell asleep. Are you sure you’re okay?” Tobias asked sitting beside him and grabbing Matt’s chin to look him in the eyes.
Matt waved him off though, “Yeah, I’m just tired. How long were you gone?” He looked around again, though now seemed much more aware of his surroundings.
Still watching him closely Tobias answered, “Only a few minutes. So you don’t feel any disorientation, no blurry vision or anything like that?”
“No, just a headache and a little tired.” Matt said, sighing again. When Matt started glancing around for his bag of ice Tobias leaned down to pick it up and handed it back to him. “Thanks.”
“Well, I do need to take care of you, it’s slightly my fault that you’re injured like this.”
Matt scoffed and put the bag back on the bump, “Slightly? I say it’s all your fault; I wasn’t the one wanting to go at it in a public restroom.”
“Yes, well, hopefully you can forgive me?” Tobias asked with a grin.
Rolling his eyes, Matt replied, “Yeah, yeah, just take this as a hint to keep your hands to yourself when we’re in a public area. Got it?”
Tobias nodded before leaning over close to Matt, “So, since this is not a public area, does that mean I don’t have to keep my hands to myself?”
“Ah, well-“ Matt blushed wildly before pointing to his head, “Injured, so you’ll have to take a rain check on that.”
“Hm, I’ll hold you to that.” Tobias smiled before sitting back again.
“I have no doubt that you will.” Matt mumbled, bringing up a hand to stifle a yawn.
Tobias stood up and offered a hand to Matt, “You’re tired, let’s get you to bed.”
Matt glanced at the clock on the wall, “It’s not even nine o’clock, and aren’t people suspected to have concussions supposed to stay awake?”
“That’s just a myth[2], and like you said, you’re injured, so sleep will do you good. Now, up.” Tobias replied, reaching down and grabbing Matt’s arm.
“Alright, alright.” Matt mumbled, allowing his self to be drug back to his room. When Tobias reached for the first door, Matt stopped, “Not that one!”
Tobias looked back at him suspicious and Matt chuckled nervously, “Uh, I mean, that’s not my room, the one at the end is.”
“Do you live with someone?” Tobias asked curiously, heading past the closed door towards the one at the end of the hallway.
“Ah, no, it’s just a, uh, storage room, and it’s really messy.” Matt answered quickly. Once inside the room Tobias turned and kissed him softly, before pulling away. “Goodnight.”
“Y-you’re leaving?” Matt asked when Tobias headed for the door.
Pausing to look back, Tobias responded, “I was going to sleep on the couch, why?”
“Oh, well…” Matt’s face flushed red before he continued, “Y-you could stay in here… I-I mean if you wanted to that is.”
Tobias walked back towards him and gave him another small kiss, “I would love to stay in here. But there is the problem of clothes.”
“I might be able to help with that, actually.” Matt headed over to his dresser and started to look through it.
“Matthew, not to be rude or anything, but we’re a little different when it comes to body types. I doubt anything that will fit you will do the same for me.”
Matt smirked before pulling out a pair of pajama bottoms, “Then I guess it’s a good thing I don’t wear the correct sizes. Here, try this on.” He tossed the pants to Tobias before pulling out his own sleepwear.
He started toward the door when he heard Tobias behind him, “Where are you going?”
“Ah, to the bathroom to change.” Matt replied looking back.
Tobias quirked an eyebrow, “Why? I believe we both know each other well enough that we can change in the same room.”
“Oh… right.” Now embarrassed once again Matt headed back into the room, and, turning away from the other man, began to undress. He could feel Tobias’s eyes on his back as he changed, but didn’t want to look to confirm it or not. Once he was fully changed in the loose t-shirt and pants that were about two sizes to big he turned back around, but Tobias was looking away, folding his jeans and shirt before setting them on the dresser. Matt noticed that Tobias had been wearing a tank underneath his shirt as well, and had opted to leave it on to sleep in.
“So, they fit alright?” Matt asked, walking over to place his dirty clothes in the hamper by the door.
Tobias nodded, “Yes, quite well in fact. Thank you.”
They climbed into bed and Matt laid on his side, facing away from Tobias, feeling a little awkward on how to sleep next to the other man. But his dilemma was solved when he felt Tobias press against him from behind, wrapping an arm around his middle. There was a light peck on the back of his neck before he heard the other whisper goodnight. Yawning once again, Matt said goodnight as well before falling asleep.

1. If you don’t know this song then maybe you’ll recognize it this way. Have you seen Disturbia? Remember the song that was his best friend’s ring tone? This is it. I figured it fit pretty well. :P
2. It is, I looked it up. Apparently you can go to sleep as long as you wake up normally, and don’t act weird in any other way. Since Matt fulfilled both of these requirements, he can go to sleep.
