Zodia's Treasures

A/N: Thanks Dominic for the suggestions. And yes it seem Sailor Moonish. This story is my first original anime story. I am going to combine chars to make them longer okay? This will also help shorten the story cause I think it's too long.

Chapter 6- Nature’s Touch

Sakura slowly woke up. She stretched before sitting up. The first thing she saw was her clothes all folded neatly on a chair. She then remembered all that happened last night. She also remembered that she just slept in Akira’s bed. She got out of bed and quickly dressed. She came out of the bedroom to find Akira eating at the table.

“Ah good morning. Feeling better?” he asked brightly.
“Yes, thank-you. Akira, did you wash my clothes?”
“Yes. I always get up early to clean up. You were still asleep so I did your clothes. Here, I’ll get you some pancakes.” smiled Akira before getting her some pancakes.
“Akira, you’ve done so much already. I hope it’s no trouble.”
“No it isn’t. I am going to turn on the news.” Akira replied before going to the TV.

Just as soon as he turned it on, he stopped and stared. Sakura had gotten up as well.

“Just last night, the Uzaku residence was on fire, burning everything to the ground. Bodies have been found. Authorities believe that Mr. Uzaku and his wife and daughter to be among the dead. Police do suspect foul play . .” says the anchor before Akira suddenly turned off the TV.

He turned to see Sakura battling tears. Feeling her pain, Akira went over and pulled her into his embrace.
“I am sorry you had to see that.” Akira said.

Sakura returned his embrace.
“Why did they do it? Why? Why?” asked Sakura.
“Greed can be an ugly thing. But you’re not alone now Sakura. I’ll be here.” comforted Akira as he stroked her hair and back.
He also felt anger stirring within him. He would make Goro pay for what he did.

“Say, do you want to get out? There’s a park near here.”
“Okay.” agreed Sakura as she pulled away.
“First, you need to eat.”
Sakura smiles.

When they arrived at the park, hardy anyone was there.
“So what do you want to do now?” asked Akira brightly.
“Let’s just walk for a bit.”

They did. Both talk about a lot of things, except about last night.
“I am going to get us something okay?” said Akira before walking off.

Sakura decided to sit down. The birds were all chirping. She smiled before seeing someone feeding them. He looked to be about her age. He was certainly tall. He had long brown hair that was pulled into a pony tail. His clothes looked elegant too. He also seemed to be in his element. Sakura got up and walked over.
“These birds seem to like you.” she said.
The man looked at her with sharp green eyes.

“Yes. I come to feed them every morning. I haven’t seen you around here. Are you new?” he asked.
“Yes. Do you like the park then?”
“Yes, I do. It’s very peaceful. My name is Haru.” said Haru as he holds out a hand.
“Please to meet you. I’m Sakura.” Sakura smiled as she gave him her hand.

Haru nodded before shaking her hand.
“Hey!” says Akira as he returned.

Haru and Sakura turned to see Akira holding two cups.
“I hope you like strawberry. It’s a milkshake.” he said as he handed one to Sakura.
“Thanks, I love strawberry.” smiled Sakura.
“Well, I guess I better get going. Bye.” grinned Haru before leaving.
“Who was that?” asked Akira.

He had gotten the impression that he seen him before.
“Haru. I just was talking to him.” explained Sakura.
“Are you feeling any better?”
“Yes, thank-you. Let’s walk a little bit more.”

They walked for a little while but Akira becomes uneasy.
“Is something wrong?” asked Sakura.
“It’s quiet. Too quiet.”
Sakura listened. There were no birds chirping.
“Stay here.” said Akira before walking a bit.
Sakura felt the medallion grow warm.
She’s about to warn Akira when, “Akira! Watch out!”

Sakura warned Akira a little too late. A gust of wind blew at Akira and knocked him down.

“Akira!” shouted Sakura as she started to run to him.

“I wouldn’t touch him, if I were you.” said a voice.
“Who are you!”
She still went toward Akira when he said, “Don’t touch me! I’ve been infected!”

Sakura soon saw green coil-like liquid on him.
“What is it?” asked Sakura.
“It’s poison.” said a voice.

Sakura turned to see Goro in his Hunter attire and someone else. The man had long green hair and jade eyes. Her medallion started warming up.

“Why? Why did you do that to him?” demanded Sakura.
“He’s the enemy. Oh and I must introduce myself. I am Taurus’s Hunter, Hotaka. Now if you wish for him to live, you will give yourself up as well as the medallion.” said Hotaka.
“Hey! What’s the meaning of this?” demanded someone.

Everyone turned to see Haru.

“Hotaka? Is that you?” asked Haru.
“Great! He’s here.” grumbleed Hotaka.
“You . . You can’t be.” Haru said in disbelief.
“Believe Haru. How unfortunate for you to show up. Goro, do me the favor of disposing him, quickly.”
“Hey! I don’t take orders from you. He’s your rival, why don’t you handle him!” shouted Goro.

Sakura heard that and looked at Haru in shock. Could he be?

“So Hotaka, you are MY rival huh? That means you’re Taurus’s Hunter, huh?” said Haru, shocking Sakura even more.
Akira heard everything also and managed to smile. That’s when Haru’s appearance changed. His hair became light blue and his attire changed to light blue and green. His eyes became a lighter shade of green.
“I am Taurus’s Guardian.” said Haru.
“I already knew that. Now I suggest that you surrender as well, or Aries’s Guardian here dies.” threatened Hotaka before producing a scepter and aiming it at Akira.
“Noooo!” screamed Sakura before placing herself in front of Akira.
“You’ll have to get past me first.” she said.
“Sakura, no.” said Akira.
“Fine then!” shouted Goro, who had lost his patience.
“Goro, no!” Hotaka shouted.

Too late, Goro already shot a ball of orange energy at her. But then a wall of blue stone quickly came up in front of Sakura and protected her from the attack. As it crumbled, everyone turned to see that Haru had done it.
“For once I am glad that you interfere, Haru.” admited Hotaka.

He hitted Goro over the head.
“You dummy!” he said angrily.
“Sorry! She’s not hurt though right?” Goro tried to state.
“Idiot.”

Then suddenly they heard a rumble. Goro and Hotaka turned and saw stone cover overed them like a dome prison. There was a few openings for breathing. Sakura looked and saw that Haru did it.

“Haru! I am going to get you for this!” threatened Hotaka.
“I am sure you will.” said Haru before changing into his normal clothing.

Sakura had already knelt next to Akira.
“He’s fading fast.” said Haru as he knelt next to Sakura.
“We have to do something. We can’t touch him or we’ll be infected.” said Sakura.
“Hmm, and the only way I can transport us is if we are touching.”

But before they could do anything, the three of them vanished.

“Dorion is not going to be happy.” commented Goro.
“Oh like I already know that!” replied Hotaka.

The next thing that Sakura and Haru realized was that they were in another place. It looked like a summer house. There were curtains swaying in the breeze. You could hear the ocean and seagulls. Both look around before seeing Akira lying on a bed. He seemed to be resting.
“He’s healed now so you don’t have to worry.” said a voice.

The two turned to see Zodia. She had some of her long rainbow hair swept in a braided bun. The rest hung and swayed as she walked toward them. She was wearing sea green slacks and a white top with light green flowers on it. Her sleeves flowered out. As soon as Haru saw her, he knelt immediately.

“You may rise Haru.” smiled Zodia.
“Zodia.” said Haru in amazement.
Zodia grinned before turning to Sakura. For a moment, Sakura saw emotions run through Zodia’s eyes. Then they were gone.

“So you are Zodia.” said Sakura before kneeling.
“No need to kneel before me dear.” Zodia told her.

After Sakura stood up, she went to Akira and took his hand in hers. Slowly Akira woke up. He smiled before seeing Sakura.
“You look like an angel.” he whispered causing Sakura to blush.
“How are you feeling?” she asked.
“Better. Did you heal me?”
“No. Zodia did.”

Akira looked in surprise as he saw Zodia and Haru came up. Akira then tried to get up.
“Don’t rush yourself, Akira. You need your strength for your journey. Here drink this.” ordered Zodia as a cup appeared in her hands.

Sakura and Haru helped Akira sat up before he drank it.
“Journey?” Haru asked Zodia.

Zodia smiled.

“It’s time for you two to join up with the other Guardians.”
“How do we find them?” asked Akira.
“You will see. Don’t try to look for them. They will find you.”
“When do we get started?” asked Haru.
“Soon enough. Oh, and take Sakura with you.”
“Why? Wouldn’t she and the medallion be safer here with you?” asked Akira.
“All you need to know is that it’s Sakura’s destiny to take this journey. My medallion will also help you.”
“As you wish then.” said Akira reluctantly.
“Good. I’ll return you to Akira’s apartment now.” said Zodia before snapping her fingers.

The three then suddenly vanished. Zodia pulled out a necklace, opened it up to look at a small picture.

Tears welled up in her eyes before she said, “She will succeed. I know she will. Soon my love, we will be together.”
