Frustrated Intimacy
i only want to share my soul
run my blood through your fingers
the collective soul of every blunt object in the room
the screaming of the night is in my eyes
when i look at you
i shield you from
the things i am
so you can be a piece of me
i am greedy for your pain
your soul
i only want the real
but the icky insides
are all i believe are real
and i can't see past your joy
so i'll wait for your pain
and pray you'll let me watch you bleed
