Lesson in love
LESSON IN LOVE
cold and heavy
motionless forevermore
heartbeat ceasing
ripped out by the bedroom door
blood soaked walls
pain a picture of an ugly past
suffering through abuse and misery
for a love that would never last
beatings, rape, and sodomize
anger disgused as love
silent tears fall down her cheeks
heavely streaked with blood
he told her that he loved her
that the roughness was just a game
til the end she believed him
thinking he was sane
he raped her and then beat her
in one of his nightly games
then he took the knife within his fist
and stabbed her again and again
a broken corps
left from her soulless shell
no name marks her grave
no number nor sign
he wrapped her body up in lace
tied it off with twine
buried her in his garden
eats the food grown from her corps
with his wine.
A lesson of this tale is true
beware the lies of “love” least it happen to you.
