Find Me

People do love me ^^ It\'s nice to see Serya and Tober get some attention. Anyways I\'m sorry about what happened to Serya, it was all part of the master plan! *hides behind wall to keep angry fans from attacking her* But don\'t worry, Tober didn\'t mean to do that. It\'ll turn out allll good in the end. In response to some of the posts about this story being a little confusing, I apologize. This story was a cowrite, me doing Serya and my friend doing Tober, which might get a little confusing I bet. As for the the ninja girl at the begining, she was supposed to have a greater roll later on, but I admit that I forgot all about her ^^;; Well enough babble. Just remember these characters ARE original, which means stealing them will result in death by angry penguins ><

He shivered and his eyes slowly opened. He sat up, all he saw was darkness at first and then things came into focus... blood... blood on his hands and.... feathers? Dear God, what had he done? Then he saw. The wings he was laying on and the boy blood soaked, cum covered and curled in fetal position. He looked away unable to look at the massacre that had been done. A whisper broken and sad \"Serya, I\'m so sorry.\" Sorry? What was he thinking? Sorry wasn\'t going to cut it. He had tainted and damaged an Angel. Torn out his wings for Christ's sakes. He went into the kitchen and washed the blood from himself and hurriedly dressed. He knew he should clean Serya but he was frightened, the boy certainly wouldn\'t want his touch after what had happened. He sat on the floor leaning against the wall pulled his knees to himself and rocked back and forth silent tears rolling down his cheeks.

In his head Serya was walking down the isles of an old and broken down gothic church. the pews were askew or broken, stain glass windows were either covered in dust or broken through letting red light filter in. the alter was covered with blood and tears, and so was the cross behind it. Screams echoed through the shattered windows, and under the cracks of the stone doors behind him. He knew without a doubt that this was that secret place inside of himself, the one all people had though its form differed from soul to soul. All questions and memories were stored here, for here was where a person could cross over from this life into the next. He stood and looked around, utterly alone and afraid. Despite all that had happened, he wanted Tobor! Someone to hold him and tell him that it was just a bad dream. \"Tobor, where are you? you said you\'d catch me if I fell....\" he whimpered and sat on one of the pews in the front that wasn\'t broken \"you promised\" the small plea somehow made it out to the real world, but only in a whimper quieter than a whisper

He couldn\'t take it anymore; he needed to hold the boy. He crawled over to Serya, pulling him away from the shattered glass and puddles of blood and into his embrace. He had known better than to let this one into his life, he knew the risks, yet he had done it any way. He loved the angel. He had never wanted something like this to happen. He picked him up and carried him up to bed, laying him on his stomach, disappearing briefly, returning with rags ointments and bandages. With skill he cleaned up all the blood and disinfected the gapping wounds before bandaging them up. Carefully he rolled Serya over and held him up so not to hurt his back. He cleaned the bloody marks on his chest, and down by his entrance. Satisfied that he had cleaned all the blood, he tenderly held the angel close to his heart... the heart that beat only for Serya. \"Fall into me my Serya.\" He kissed his forehead softly and watched the battered youth rest.

\"Do you still wish to save him?\" came a tender voice from the door to Tobor\'s bedroom. A woman dressed in what looked like a white nightdress, the kind that looked like a gown, was standing there looking at him with her arms behind her back. Her skin was pale and a soft smile that hinted of wisdom beyond a person\'s years adorned her face and blonde hair cascaded down her back in waves and framed her face. Two pale wings so much like Serya\'s were on her back folded. But the two things that made her the most noticeable were the facts that she was see through and that her ocean blue eyes were the exact same as Serya\'s. There was no difference between them

He looked up at the sound of the voice and nodded \"Of course, but I don\'t deserve him...\" His voice echoed with unimaginable sadness as he looked down to the youth in his arms. Tears rolled down his cheeks. He loved Serya; he wanted to keep him always. One thought though kept plaguing his mind, he had done this, and he had done this to the boy. He didn\'t remember doing it, but he knew it had to be him he had been the only one here. But he wanted to keep Serya, wanted to have him to hold always. To catch him when he fell to keep his promise. He looked back up at the other in the room; tears clung to his eye lashes as he nodded again.

\"Don\'t cry Tobor. The person that did this is not you. Forsaking Serya now, even if you are trying to protect him, would be the worst thing that you could do at this point\" she walked or more accurately glided over to the bed and put comforting arms around him. \"Even if you are immortal, you do not understand destiny or fate. Before you came along Serya\'s only purpose in life was to be used. Used by the institute used by the dark lord, and used by any other soul he should meet. And no matter which person he met he was destined to die, sometime during this year. But then you came in\" she turned his face toward herself and made him look into her eyes \"you were the unknown factor to the equation, and a new path opened up for him and for you.\" she smiled and it made her eyes crinkle. \"But if you want to help sweet Serya then you must hurry. He's in that place between death and life and even though he doesn\'t know it, he\'s about to cross over farther than we can catch him. I'm going to let you journey to that place but I must warn you. The place you go to will be made of Serya\'s fears and shattered memories. A simple jolt of anger or an over reaction will send you both careening into death\'s abyss.\"

He heard the words and yet he found them hard to believe, he was an unknown factor? God, he wanted to save Serya and he would. Some how he knew the boy would understand that he had no control over the monster that had done this to him. He took a deep breath and nodded to the lady. \"Let me save him.\" He understood the risks, and realized every day even in the simple things there are risks. This is the greatest of all - Love. And he loved Serya, with all he was and all he had. He nodded again. \"I understand. I will be very careful.\" He let his hand run over Serya\'s cheek in a gentle caress, ready for whatever lay ahead.

She nodded \"then I will take you through the maze that is his mind\" she laid her hands on either side of his head and a soft glow radiated out from them and struck Tobor. Immediately he began to feel sleepy and was soon drifting out of the waking world. The last word\'s she gave to him were these \"you must first convince his inner wards to let you into his secret soul. If you don\'t do that you won\'t stand a chance please hurry and save him. Please hurry and save my son\" and all faded to black. When Tobor opened his eyes he was lying in an endless field of grass. Wild flowers appeared on every other hill top and the only sound was the wind blowing over the tall green blades. The only other sound besides the rustling was a child\'s laughter

He looked around and quickly stood, trying to figure out which way to go. All he wanted to do was save Serya, so that he could hold him tight for the rest of their lives. Looking up at the sky for a brief moment then realized that he should follow the child's laughter and did so.

A little boy was running around a large tree that stretched so high above their heads that had there been clouds they would have lost themselves in the branches. The trunk was thick as a building and crawling flowers decorated it while the roots beneath it wove up and down making an intricate series of tunnels and holes. out of one of the entrances popped the boy who was smiling and humming notes with no care what order they came in. his hair was pure black but he had Serya\'s eyes. In fact if Serya had been a child, this is what he would have looked like. A long t-shirt and tan shorts was what he wore. On his way out from the roots he fell, laughed and then fell back again

He stopped a moment and watched, laughter combined with the sadness in his eyes as he watched the boy run and hum. It tugged at his heart. So, cute and carefree. A time long since forgotten. He shook his head slightly, his dark blonde hair fell in his face and he reached up to push it away. Where was he was supposed to go from here he really wasn\'t sure. He felt a bit like Alice following the white rabbit and getting pulled into a lost place. Not sure what to do.

The little boy sat up again and shook his head, trying to rid his black locks of the twigs and grass that were now caught in it to little avail. He sighed and turned his head to look at the grass plains and found Tobor instead. After tilting his head in puzzlement he smiled, stood up and waved at him. \"Hey mister you look lost!! What are you looking for?\"

He smiled at the kid and nodded a hello... slowly he walked to him, and knelt to gently pull the twigs and grass from his hair. \"I\'m looking for Serya.\" His voice was sad and heart-broken. He would keep his promise to catch the angel when he fell, even if it cost him his own immortal life to do so. Sad fall colored eyes met the younger male\'s eyes. Nothing hidden - all he felt for the angel there in that gaze. Even his own self loathing and desperate need to save Serya.

The young boy frowned at patted Tobor\'s cheek. \"I'm Serya. But are you looking for me or sad Serya?\" the ocean eyes of this younger Serya held such childish innocence but a sadness too because Tobor was sad. \"I don\'t remember you so you must be looking for Sad Serya...\" he looked over his shoulder at the tree and then back to Tobor. "Am I right?\"

He blinked and forced himself to smile \"Yes, sad Serya.\" He stopped and looked away then whispered \"I made him a promise and I intend to keep it.\" He looked to the happy carefree Serya and patted his cheek \"... I promised to catch him when he fell..." He stopped talking now because he didn\'t know what else to say. Right now he just wanted to curl into a ball and cry, he needed the angel in his life and he didn\'t know what he\'d do if he lost him. Damn, himself - he hated it when he blacked out and then woke up to bloody messes, but it made it worse now because it was Serya.

\"I don\'t like going to Sad Serya\'s room. if I get too close it tries to pull me in with it.\" he shivered and held himself \"but Sad Serya\'s never had any visitors sooo, I'll show you where he his!\" the smile was back on his face again and he grabbed Tobor\'s hand as he began to run off. \"This way this way! It's over here...\" the little boy led Tobor over and around the roots to a different part of the tree. Over here the ground was covered with leaves and the branches above had leaves that had turned gold. It looked like autumn had descended before they were past that and a cold blast of air hit them. Winter was upon them now and snow lay all around. The branches above were bare and rattled in the breeze. Nestled amongst a series of thorns and creeper vines were a set of double doors one would usually find when going to a very old church. They were stained with mold and cracked slightly. He stopped a little ways from the door and turned to Tobor. \"I can\'t go any farther than this. If I do I'll disappear. You'll be on your own now\" he pointed to the doors \"Sad Serya\'s in there. I don\'t know anything more than that\"

He almost laughed at himself. He felt as though he had stepped into the looking glass, into the world of a child\'s imagination. Alice\'s words echoed in his mind <\"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn\'t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn\'t be, and what it wouldn\'t be, it would.\"> Wow where had that come from? He hadn\'t read that story since he was a child. Then he realized... this was the place in everyone\'s mind that place between reality and fantasy, life and death - that place where one would come to hide, to escape. He sighed and stepped to the door carefully pushing them open, and going inside.
