9:41pm - Italian
People keep coming in and out of this place. Alex and Ryan are upstairs half the time and I\'m not allowed to go up there. I stayed with Francesca all day today. That\'s Alex\'s mom. I found out what language Ryan knows! It\'s Italian. Alex\'s mother and father, Leone, are both from Sicily. Alex was born here. Francesca told me.
I love this house. It\'s huge. I mean, it\'s not mansion huge or anything, but it\'s a big house. It reminds me of Jack\'s. His house is really big too. Then again, the drug trade gets lots of money so it makes sense.
I\'m back! I wanted to put what we had for dinner, but I didn\'t know how to spell it. Francesca told me. It\'s called Fusilli coi Broccoli Arriminati. Basically it\'s pasta with a sauce made from cauliflowers. I\'m not sure why it says broccoli. I never asked. I normally don\'t like cauliflower, but this really wasn\'t that bad. I liked it. Then again, I helped make it too.
I asked Ryan, when he came to check on me earlier, if he could take me to see the city sometime. He said no. When I asked why, he said that it was because he was busy. I\'ll ask Alex. Maybe he\'ll take me. I mean, it\'s not like anyone will recognize me around here anyway. If Alex can\'t, then maybe his mother can! I wish I could meet his father. Maybe I will sometime soon.
When I talked to Ryan, he said that I\'ll get to see Melanie tomorrow. I\'m so excited! She\'s staying with some of his friends here. He said that he\'s already seen her and that she said hi.
I want something to do. I\'m so bored, and Ryan and Alex are upstairs, Francesca is doing mother stuff and the other men that are here are upstairs as well.
Oh my god. I just heard a gun shot from upstairs. I\'m not allowed up there, so I\'m going to go to Francesca. I\'m scared.

10:01pm - Nothing
I asked Francesca and she said that she had no idea what I was talking about. I don\'t get it. And then Ryan and Alex came downstairs laughing over something. I went up to them and asked them but Ryan just told me that nothing happened. I\'m so confused. I know I heard a gun shot. Why are they acting like it didn\'t happen?
I wish there was more to do. Maybe Alex will play a game with me. He doesn\'t seem too busy right now. Ryan just left again. I wonder where he keeps going. I\'m going to ask Alex.
Alex says that Ryan is just taking care of some business that they couldn\'t finish earlier today. Who does business this late? And Alex said that he\'ll play a game with me until Ryan gets back. He said that he shouldn\'t be too long. I\'m not sure if I like that or not. I kind of like it when it\'s just Alex and me. He\'s really cool.
I\'ll write before bed I guess.

I said I would write before going to bed. It\'s late, so Alex says I have to go to sleep. Ryan still isn\'t back. I hope he\'s okay.
