Chapter 0056: A Dark March Lies Ahead, To Battle We Must Ride Like Thunder Across the Skies :

His cold, apathetic gaze fell upon the lifeless body of Koba. His hands stretched forth and seized the strange blade for his own. He felt a strong magical aura coming off the blade. Mikael smiled darkly as he held the blade towards the incubus and its' master.

Mikael wasted no time with words. The blade pulsated as it cried out for the demon blood before it. He sensed the powers of the ancient Guardians surging within the queer steel. The demons evaded his strike; but he felt strength renewed flowign through his body. The stormblade warrior had never felt such strong power. He now possesed a sword worthy of himself.

He watched as the incubus transformed itself into a powerful looking spear; it was long and black and shapped to look like a serpent with one large fang jutting out of the open mouth. He watched as his opponent eagerly snatched up the weapon. The two locked in a contest of strength as blade and wood crashed against each other. A scream of pain came from the spear as the green steel sunk deeply into the wood. Green blood trailed down the spear in rivulets.

The air was hot. It burned. He felt the earth shaking. They had decided to join the fight. Biscuaya looked from the rampart of the castle. They filled the sky like a great rainbow; dragons. They had at last begun their flight from the edge of the West; headed into the East. He wondered if the dragons of the East were moving once more. The tides of the war were still unsteady. He knew that as he felt those slender fingers gently caressing his shoulders.

"The world may end. The dragons are to powerful a force to be used." Biscuaya sadly shook his head. "The world may not surrive a war raged by dragons. It was why the Dragon Kings were put to slumber by the Guardians."

He heard a slight wistfully nice in Aion's voice as he spoke clearly, "Each day, we wake, and know that there is a darkness waiting to claim us. Each day we struggle, we battle and we must prepare for these battles, these wars. We have to fight, that is your Human Spirit. It is the same for everybody, both men and women, whom have the spirit to fight. We have two choices...either we fight to win or we throw our hands up in surrender."

"Hmmm." Was the only words that the dragon lord spoke. His eyes were still onthe flights of dragons. He had never thought that so many existed at the edge of the West.

"We must prepare to leave and lead the battle. You are the Dragon Lord. Your place is at the head of that flight." Aion told Ngwey as he pointed at the one dragon leading them all.

Ngwey did not ask questions. He simply accepted the fact that Aion had somehow managed to have them in the air. The two had taken the shape of dragons; only Ngwey's shape and size far exceeded all others. He was after all the child of the Dragon King's descendent, and had five wings aiding his flight.
