A Break from the Crazies

Chapter 5: A Break from the Crazies

Theo woke up feeling a hand circle along the crevice of his chest, sensually stopping at his collar bone and all the way down to his navel. Blinking, he rolled his head over to see Hendrick's face in close proximity, peacefully dozing.

"Good Morning…"Theo yawned, rolling over and giving Hendrick a little sleepy kiss. he shifted a little, his head of sandy blonde hair tucking under Theo's chin comfortably. "You have a horrible time waking up don't you?"

"Mm…Five more minutes."Hendrick yawned, his arms coming around him warmly.

"Alright. I can smell breakfast cooking…Ludwig's making eggs and bacon….oh, I think it's pancakes…"Theo teased, running his finger along his ear gently along the little fine hairs. Hendrick flinched, sighing contently.

"Mmph…"Hendrick grumbled, forcing himself up.

"Good boy."Theo chuckled, leaning down to kiss him when they both heard a frightened scream out in the hallway.

"Froooooosst! Help me!"A sweet voice cried.

"Yoshiru?"Both spoke at the same time, scrambling out of bed and grabbing whatever clothes they could find. Running out of the bedroom, Theo limping a little behind Hendrick, they saw what the commotion was. Ari had Yoshri over his shoulder, Frost standing at the bottom of the stairs with a growl.

"Ari! Ari put him down! You'll drop him, dumb fuck!"Frost shouted, his red hair bristling.

"No! I'm taking him for a little while and dressing him up in something sexy and there's nothing you can do about it without blowing the house up!"Ari blew a raspberry, heading down the hall.

"Blowing the house up?"Hendrick asked, looking to Theo who was doubled over.

"Their both dumb fucks…Both of them can blow the house up. Hell, if any of us put the effort we could."Theo panted. "Ari controls fire, Frost controls lightening, electricity, etc. Hell, the whole house is powered by him."

"R-really? His power must be really impressive."Hendrick blinked, Frost stomping up to them and grabbing Theo by the front of his shirt.

"Relax! He knows now after your wonderful advice. Now calm down before you blow the fuses again."Theo said, waving his hands.

"You had best hope that your failure to catch Ari doesn't cost you."Frost said, shoving his little brother back at the door and going down the hall. Both of them could see the lightbulbs flicker as he passed through. Theo caught his breath, rubbing his chest a little.

"Dammit. Just because he can kick my ass doesn't mean he had to get all pissy…Dammit Ari…"Theo mumbled, Hendrick patting his shoulder.

"It's tough being the youngest sibling, hm?"Hendrick smiled apologetically.

"You don't know the half of it. Everyone can kick my ass and even my parents know it. Water is a useless element…Air can just turn it against me, Fire to steam, Electricity a conductor, Earth can trap it…"Theo sighed, starting to head down the stairs. "Light can evaporate, Darkness can make it immobile…Ice can freeze it…metal makes it harder to use as does the wood…I can't do anything and they rub it in."

"That's a lot…And scary. I don't think you're useless."Hendrick smiled.

"Says the normal one."Theo frowned, limping down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Shouldn't we go help Yoshiru?"Hendrick asked, looking over his shoulder. He could hear yelling from up the hall as it traveled down the stairs towards the kitchen.

"Yoshi can take care of himself, I assure you."Mamoru called from the kitchen. A thunderous boom shook the house, Theo and Hendrick catching themselves with the stair railing, Mamoru against the doorframe. Behind them, Ari and Frost went flying down the hall, skidding along the carpet until they stopped at the foot of the stairs leading to the third floor.

"You boys alright?"Mamoru called to them.

"F-fine!"Theo shivered, looking over his shoulder to Hendrick.

"What the fuck was that?"Hendrick said, sweating a little as he corrected himself.

"WHERE ARE YOU BITCHES?! MOTHERFUCKERS! SHIT! Motherfuckers don't know when to quit!. When I tell you to STOP, FUCKING STOP!"Yoshiru cursed, stomping out from down the hall, his sleeves on his shirt bellowing unnaturally. Ari and Frost groaned down the hall in the sounds of an apology. Hendrick could feel a cool breeze flutter down the hall, the curtains being pushed back and against the windows.

"Yoshiru, that's enough."Mamoru called, Yoshiru whipping his head towards the stairs with ferocity that Hendrick had ever seen in a person before. The air stopped blowing, the sleeves of Yoshiru's shirt stopping. The moment the blind man inhaled, he froze. "D-did Hendrick see that? Oh God, Therodorea I'm sorry!"

"It's fine, Yoshi, Hendrick knows. You can apologize later but come down for breakfast."Theo sighed, going up with a bit of a grunt and taking his hand.

"Theo…are you alright? You sound like you're in pain."Yoshiru frowned, taking Theo's hand more gently and holding his shoulder.

"I fell down the stairs a little."The youngest lied but Yoshi still frowned. Hendrick helped them both out, heading into the kitchen where Ludwig was in the kitchen, wearing a red apron. Mamoru seemed to be entranced, sitting at the head of the table as he watched him.

"Careful, you'll start to drool, Pappi."Gary grunted, biting into a piece of toast with an egg crowned on top.

"I can't help it, that apron makes me want to rip it off with his clothes and make dirty, delicious love on the kitchen table."Mamoru purred.

"Haven't you done that before?"Hogan questioned, Noah nodding in agreement with him.

"Remember? We saw them doing it in here that one night? Oh we got a spanking!"Noah giggled, Hogan grumbling.

"I can still feel it many years later."Hogan shook his head.

"I'm sorry, you don't really need to be hearing this."Theo apologized.

"Don't worry. I caught my parents once doing it in my Father's home office. I figured out why I had so many siblings from then on."Hendrick admitted, smiling coyly. "I think it's good to explore new places when you're intimate."

"That doesn't mean you can use my kitchen."Ludwig said as he brought the pan over with three more pancakes piled onto a big plate. "Don't you two get any ideas."

"Ah, that reminds me: Theo, I have some ointment to give you that will help you heal."Mamoru smiled in a motherly manner.

Theo and Hendrick reddened, sitting down at the table without another word while Yoshiru smiled innocently, Gary fixing him a plate.

After breakfast, Theo lay on his stomach on his bed, staring at the jar of ointment Mamoru had prepared for him. Hendrick sat on the bed with him, running the brush through Theo's hair. "I can't believe he was listening in…"He sighed.

"Your fathers must have some skills of their own, don't they? They're both incredibly beautiful and helpful…"Hendrick sighed, smoothing down Theo's hair with his hand.

"That's because they aren't human…"Theo mumbled, reaching for the jar and pulling it over to himself, popping the lid off and sniffing it. It smelled like hazelnuts with a little mint in it as well.

"What?"Hendrick blinked, lowering his head to Theo's level. "What do you mean 'not human'? I know some men are really good looking and you're not exception to this but 'not human'? How is that even possible? Just how old are they?"

"Older than you or I can even imagine. They would never tell us but we have all seen them 'feed'. You've probably realized that they never eat with us, suddenly show up out of nowhere and are hyper-aware of everything going on. Mamoru, actually, was the one who taught us about our powers."Theo explained, watching as Hendrick picked up the jar.

"Are they spirits? Wizards or something?"Hendrick asked, sniffing the contents of the jar.

"Mamoru is but Ludwig has been his soul mate since they were still human and children."Theo continued, feeling his pants be tugged down a little. "Hey! What are you--?"

"I'm going to help. Besides, I owe you…"Hendrick purred, moving down and pulling Theo's hips up, while he tugged his pants down. Theo bit his lip, feeling the cool air brush along his skin. Hearing the lid of the ointment open up, he winced as he felt the cold salve brush along his skin, a single finger sliding between his cheeks.

"Ah! That stuff is cold!"Theo squeaked, sitting up and looking over his shoulder.

"If it was hot, it probably wouldn't too comfortable."Hendrick chuckled, leaning and kissing one of Theo's back cheeks while he teasingly brushed his fingers along his entrance. He got a little whimper in response. As he ran his fingers along it, Theo pushed back and received a teasing probe, Hendrick moving his finger in very slowly.

"This stuff smells so good I may end up eating it."Hendrick chuckled, licking his lips and running his tongue along Theo's cheek and getting a playful laugh. "Mamoru has a lot of talent…"

"H-He's written a home remedies book that's p-popular nowadays…"Theo moaned, pushing more against Hezekiah's hand. "Mmm, right there…"

"Here?"Hendrick teased, sliding another finger in and moving his fingers in deeper, massaging the spot Theo wanted most.

"Oh God ye--"

"GARY! I don't want to run with you today!"A familiar cry sounded off.

"Not again…"Theo whined, looking over at his shoulder at the door.

"How often does Yoshiru get manhandled?"Hendrick sighed, removing his fingers slowly and wiping the remnants of the ointment on the inside of his shirt.

"Enough to cause a hurricane. Gary likes to take him running to get some fresh air and exercise…Poor Yoshi can't run away without bumping into things so he gets tagged along in everyone else's ventures."Theo sighed as he reached back, pulling up his pants.

A thunderous boom followed by a crash sent the house shaking, a series of swears following afterwards. Theo flopped back out on the bed, growling a little until he felt Hendrick playfully flop on top of him. "You shouldn't get yourself stressed out over your family…If they're as strong as you say, they can take care of themselves."He whispered softly.

"Mmmph…"Theo growled, rolling over and looking down at him. "Let's get out of here."

"What?"

"Let's go into the city for a night and come back in the wee hours of the morning. Go dancing at Frost's Night Club, have a good time…"Theo said, pushing himself up.

"Frost owns a night club?"Hendrick asked as he got up.

"Yup. He's a pretty well known DJ and has a couple of CDs. He may not be working tonight but we can sneak out and have some fun. Beside, I don't think that they'll come searching for you there. It's pretty exclusive."Theo said as he moved off of the bed, standing to his feet. "We'll sneak out around six, get there by seven and leave around one."

"It's hours from there though."Hendrick frowned, his eyebrow raising. "Unless you have a jet, I think that'll be the only way to make it in an hour."

Theo smiled coyly, tucking his hair behind his ear and slinking off to the bathroom. After dinner, they snuck out the back door and slinked around to the front of the house, walking down to the gate. Theo had changed into a pair of leather pants and a black jacket, a motorcycle helmet tucked under his arm, Hendrick holding his. They crept to the garage, wheeling the motorcycle out towards the gate and then taking off with a roar of an engine. He felt the wind along his skin, the smooth leather underneath his hands. It was such a rush!

"How are you holding up back there?"Theo asked, looking over his shoulder a moment.

"This is fun!"Hendrick yelled, shifting a bit on the bike. "Why a motorcycle?!"

"It's easier to sneak out! We should be there much faster with this though!"Theo laughed, speeding off again. It hadn't even been an hour when he started to see the lights of the city, the spotlights dancing in the sky. Theo slowed a little, stopping at the first light they had bumped into for miles.

"We'll be there in another fifteen minutes. How's your ass?"Theo asked as he sat back some.

"It'll be better when we're off this thing. What's the club name?"Hendrick asked as he held on again, Theo taking off.

"Thundershocker's."Theo answered, weaving in and out of cars. Hendrick could feel his chest sink in as he shank down a little. This was the city where his mansion was but that was across town nearly an hour. Gripping the front of Theo's jacket, he bit his lower lip.

"I know you're worried but if we can find some sleezeballs at this club then we might get some information too. Maybe some outside sources from the group at your place."Theo said as he stopped, pulling to the right and to a club where he could hear the music pounding. Theo parked, Hendrick getting off first followed by the driver. Theo removed his helmet, shaking out his hair. "Let's get in and grab a drink."

"We're both not old enough."Hendrick warned.

"Not that kind of drinking. I oppose alcohol but I trade tea and some supplies with Frost. We can order one of my specialty drinks."Theo smiled as he took Hendrick's hand, dropping their helmets off on the motorcycle and heading towards the entrance. They had no trouble getting in nor ordering a strange drink brewed from a tea that Theo bought for the both of them, going to sink down in a booth to cool off for a while.

The music was pounding, people dancing around on a neon dance floor. Theo's white shirt underneath his jacket had a neon purple glow, his smile just as bright. "How are you feeling? Better?"He asked, snuggled up next to him.

"Much. This drink is really good. Did you really make this?"Hendrick asked as he sipped on it.

"Yup. A co-op piece with Frost. Now why don't we get up and shake our asses until morning!"Theo laughed, pulling him up and throwing his leather jacket off into the booth. Hendrick stumbled a little, pulling Theo back toward him and spinning him around. Their hips touched, swaying and bobbing back and forth. Hendrick ran his hands along the shorter man's leather-clad legs, running them upwards to his chest then back down.

Theo hummed, reaching behind him to Hendrick's hair and tugging it a little, whirring around and dancing around. They danced, playing around and weaving their way through the crowd. Eventually weaving back around the table, they fell over exhausted, laughing and sweaty from head to toe. Their drinks had been refilled and were a delight to have.

"This was a good idea. I'm glad we got out."Theo said, stretching and falling onto his dance partner's lap, looking up at him with a smile. "Still worried?"

"I can't help it…We're so close that I can feel it."Hendrick frowned, petting back some of the chestnut color hair.

"Scary…"Theo sighed, his eyebrows furrowing. Closing his eyes, he exhaled slowly, letting his mind laze about for a little while. He let the thoughts of those in the club slip through his mind, taking in little bits of information as he was bored. One caught his attention.

'I'm sure if it now. It's that company kid. Boss said if we ever saw him, take him in immediately…Who's that brat with him? One of that Presidents' kids? Fuck, this is going to be harder than I thought…'

"Hendrick…They're here."Theo said as he looked up at him. "We need to leave. Now."

"What?"Hendrick said, perking his head up.

"Don't look up, don't look around. I've got the tab, just stay by my side, don't lose sight of me at any time."Theo said as he sat up slowly, reaching for his wallet. He pulled out a few bills, putting them on the table and taking Hendrick by the hand with his jacket in the other.

Hendrick stayed low, keeping as close as he could even though the crowd was getting thicker with the night's progression. He found himself struggling to keep up, their grip eventually loosening. The thought that someone who worked for the guy who kidnapped his family made him even more paranoid, everyone's eyes looking at him and breaking him down to pieces.

He heard his name called once, a hard tug pulling him out into the cool night air. Theo looked at him, checking him over. "Hendrick! Snap out of it! We have to go--"He suddenly stopped.

The sound of a single click made Hendrick freeze, Theo falling forward into his arms. A man stood in front of him, holding up a butterfly knife, smiling. "Hello Young Grey-Harte…We've been expecting you."He spoke up. "I didn't expect you to show up here but we got off lucky. It's a good thing we had people still around."

"Th-Theo…"Hendrick gaped, looking down at the man in his arms, his eyes wide. "Theo…"

"It's not a fatal wound, but you'll both be coming with us."He spoke, three men coming to join them. Two took his arms, the other hefting Theo over his shoulder. They were loaded into a black van, his hands duck-taped behind his back with Theo in a small ball, his head in his lap. It felt like they hit every bump in the road, Theo grunting and opening his eyes.

"He…Hendrick?"Theo blinked.

"Theo! Are you okay?"Hendrick asked, leaning downwards to speak to him. "You're injured…Does it hurt?"

"Ugh…It feels like a train hit me…but I'm ok…Where are we?"He asked, peeking up at him.

"They found me…us…We're on our way 'there'…"Hendrick said, his eyes glancing over to the two men looking over at them, seeing their eyes greedily remove them of their clothing and dignity. A hard stop made them lure, Theo letting out a pained yell as his wound was bumped. The two men watching them got out of the van, dragging Hendrick out with Theo right behind being carried. He could hear him cry out as the one handling him put his hand on his wound.

"Fuck! Ah!"Theo cried out, whimpering and thrashing as much as he could. Hendrick looked over his shoulder worriedly. It was when he was dragged in another direction was when he began to panic. Theo disappeared from sight, disappearing into what was the family office on that first floor. Hendrick was pulled up the stairs to the second floor where he was shoved into his parents bedroom, hearing a gasp when he arrived.

"Hendrick!"He heard a frightened female voice cry.

"M-Mom?"He blinked, feeling a large object run into him, hugging onto him until he could get his bearings. Looking down, he saw his mother hugging him so tightly, he thought that his ribcage would cave in.

"Hendrick honey, I was so worried! Oh, but they've gotten you too!"She cried. "A-and your father…oh your father…"

Hendrick looked down at her, leaning his head down to touch hers. "I'm so sorry…Where are the boys?"He asked, looking around.

"They're in their rooms with more of those horrible horrible men…Oh Hendrick! Here, let me get this tape off and you can tell me where you have been all this time."His mother said as she crawled behind him and started to pry off the duck-tape off of his wrists. He cringed as it pulled on the hair in his hands and arms, rubbing them.

"I was taken in by Mr. Ludwig of the Von Grayharte corporation…His youngest son took me in and took care of me for as long as he could. We net to the city to take a break from his older brothers but we both ended up getting taken…He's badly injured….We got separated inside…"Hendrick explained, his shoulders slumping. Shaking his head, he brought his hands to his eyes, shaking. "They're going to kill him after what Ludwig said to them…"

"He'll be fine…I hope…"Mother spoke softly, bringing her hands to his head and smoothing his hair down. "Tell me about him? The young man that helped you?"

-----------------------------------------

Theo looked up at them, sporting a black eye and a bloody nose. He had been tied down to a chair, beaten for information but would give none. The leader, which he had been so 'kindly' introduced to with a fist, watched him. "Stubborn brat. You know we can just kill you and let the aftermath come later…So you can share your information and live for a few more hours…or you can get a bullet to your head. Your choice."He said as he grabbed and yanked back on Theo's hair. "I'd say you could also use that pretty mouth of yours…but the young president's on will do just as good."

"Don't you fucking touch him!"Theo swore, pulling his head away.

"So you'll talk if I have a little fun with him? Or perhaps we should let that thought settle in your mind, let it give you some…interest in giving me that info."The leader said as he gave Theo's cheek a taunting pat, walking away. Theo growled, thrashing and stopping when his wound reopened.

He couldn't have him…He swore that he would help Hendrick no matter what…but he was selfish. He put him in danger. They found them so quickly that he was still suffering from the whiplashing effect of it. Now this…bastard was threatening Hendrick right in front of him. Oh, if he had the energy he'd burst out of that chair and rip his dick off to shove it up his own ass!

Growling, he shifted, rocking back and forth in the chair trying to keep himself awake. Fighting.

------------------------------------------

"WHAT?!"Ludwig growled, slamming his fists on the table. "What do you mean they've been taken? Taken where Yoshiru?!"

"Wiggy calm down!"Mamoru said, pulling him back and forcing him to sit down. "Yoshiru, concentrate. Where did they take them?"

"I-I'm trying! I can see…the inside of a van…Theo…Theo has a stab wound in his side…Hendrick is alright. They've gone to the Grey-Harte mansion…Hendrick is safe with his mouther and Theo will be fine…but we don't have a lot of time."Yoshiru answered, his voice waning.

"Shit…"Ludwig cursed, slamming his fist on his desk.

"We'll have to act quickly…This isn't how it was supposed to happen."Mamoru frowned. "I'll get the boys together."

"Wait."Ludwig stopped him, grabbing Mamoru's hand and pulling him back. "I have an hypothesis…It may be wrong but what if the events aren't going to be exact? This is the modern era…and Theo's personality may be more reckless than we've witnessed in the past…Perhaps we need to wait it out."

"That is my SON in that house, with a wound and getting the shit knocked out of him!"Mamoru shouted. "By the Goddess' will, I'm not going to let my child be hurt in any way!"

"B-but Theo…is an adult isn't he? He can do things and decide things on his own…maybe he'll make the right decision for this?"Yoshiru spoke up.

Both fathers looked at him, then at each other but they mentally agreed on this. All they could do was maintain things from a distance and help when needed. Maybe Theo could take care of it…maybe not. Rushing in would just cause questions and commotion.

All they could do was wait, grind their teeth and hope that things would pull out alright….

--------------------------------

"WWWWWAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Hendrick heard a cry from downstairs, running to the door and banging his fists on them. He could recognize Theo's voice anywhere but hearing it like that sent him out of his seat. His mother sat up in bed, worriedly looking after him. The poor man Hendrick spoke about was suffering…but was she being greedy about wanting to keep one of her children safe? Versus the life of a stranger? Sinking back down, she curled up and tried to drown out the sounds of screaming but only to have the door be banged upon again.

"Quiet in there!"One of the guards shouted from the other side.

"Lemme out! Leave Theo alone!"Hendrick yelled, kicking the door.

"Boss said no can do. Either he spills or he gets to watch."He answered.

"Let me talk to him!"Hendrick growled, hearing the door click open. His mother shot up from bed in a panic.

"Hendrick! What are you doing?"She said, getting up and running over to him. Hendrick caught her, holding her shoulders and looking at her seriously.

"I'm going to get us all out of here. I need time."Hendrick said, squeezing her shoulders. Letting her go, he headed out the door, a guard stepping in the mother's way to prevent her from slipping past. The door was closed and locked again, leaving her to question her son's own sanity.

Hendrick headed down the hall, followed only by one guard down the stairs to the office. He could hear heavy panting, rounding the corner to see Theo doubled over with a small pool of blood underneath the chair he was strapped down to. His hands twitched, urging him to go and touch him to see if he was still alive. It was only by the panting that he could tell he was still breathing. Behind the big desk, sat the boss, staring at him.

"So you have some information for me?"The Boss said with a smile. "Have a seat."

A pair of firm hands grabbed his shoulders, forcing him into a chair. He pulled his shoulders away, growling and looking back. "What do you want to know?"He asked, glancing over. "Can you untie him?"

The Boss looked to one of the thugs, who walked over and cut the tape around Theo. Hendrick watched painfully as Theo slid out of the chair, hitting the floor heavily. He was rolled over onto his back, his head lulling side to side. Looking away, he shut his eyes, trying to gather his thoughts. "Continue."He stated.

"What are the account numbers and the codes to the family accounts? Do you know the weak points of the Von Grayharte family estate? How many people live there?"The questions rolled.

"I don't know. That's something my father didn't discuss with me. I don't know the weak points because the house has twelve people living in it. All men. I'd say if there was a weak point, it would only be their groins."Hendrick frowned, staring seriously.

"Come now…The family must have shared something with you?"Another pointless question.

"They have property, security and no guards because they're all very talented. Why are you asking me this? You're after MY family and property, why theirs?"Hendrick asked, narrowing his eyes.

"My goals are all connections related to this company. I want to grab everything by the balls and force it into absolute submission. It would make millions. However, it's difficult without the numbers and any outside accounts are frozen because of a few…errors. Thanks to President Ludwig Von Grayharte's careful handling of the situation…We need only your attention and assistance."The Boss said as he slowly rose to his feet. He walked around the desk, past Theo and around to the front. "I'll make a deal with you…"

"Will you let my family go?"

"Done. They'll be released as soon as you obtain the information we want."

"And Theo?"

"He'll stay as collateral to the President. However, he'll receive…minimal medical attention."The Boss said, leaning back. "There's a couple of things we'll need from him as well when the time comes."

Hendrick's eyes slipped closed, his eyebrows furrowing. He looked over to Theo who was stirring from unconsciousness, looking up at him with a pained expression. Looking away, he nodded. Two men went to gather Theo up, more disappearing upstairs. They could hear yelling and arguing, Hendrick hearing his brothers and mother come down the stairs. The front door was open, the three being pushed outside while it was being barricaded up again.

A loud commotion sounded off outside, Hendrick looking to the office window to see that photographers, helicopters and the like were in a tizzy over their release. He felt a heavy weight be lifted off of his shoulders, looking to see Theo being moved out of the room.

"Come now…We'll make something to eat and talk over dinner."The Boss smiled in success, Hendrick rising morbidly and following him out of the office.
