AN: Hey everyone, sorry it took me so long to get part 2 up but some things have been happening here as well as a mental block that have made me push it back till now. But I hope you like it all the same ^_^.

CHAPTER 4 pt 2

Waking to a groan Alex lifted his head up and watched as the girl turn over onto her side away from Ash. ‘How did you turn during the night without waking us’ He thought before she moved closer to him and decided to cuddle against him. ‘Gah! What the hell? Troublesome women’ he thought. She groaned softly again as he watched her open her sleepy eyes. ‘Wow her eyes are so blue’ he thought noticing the sleep that glossed over her eyes start to clear. She jolted wake and jumped back from him in surprise and bumped into Ash. Ash whimpered as he was suddenly shocked awake by something jolting into him and pulled onto his wounds. ‘Fuck’ he thought in pain and glanced up to see the girls worried features from over her shoulder.

“Awe I’m sorry boy, I didn’t know you where there” she said frantically spinning back around turning her back to Alex and checked on Ash’s German shepherd form to see if she opened any of his wounds. ‘Idiot’ Alex thought rolling his eyes before he scanned Ash’s wounds before he deemed Ash alright, he watched as she laid her back against the head board relieved that she didn’t reopen any wounds. Alex looked down and found Hattle stretched out still asleep on his back across her legs and ankles. ‘How can you still be asleep after that?’ he thought sighing.

“I didn’t expect you three to join me” she said and leant over to pat Hattle cat belly. “I should give you guy’s names. Hmmm well since kitty here looks like he has a scar over his eye I’m going to be unoriginal and call you Scar” she said and giggled a little while continuing to pat the kitty’s belly whose leg kicked a little like a dogs as. ‘Scar she couldn’t come up with anything better?’ Alex thought. ‘Damn it she’s going to pick names for all of us’.

Hattle looked up at her with half ladded eyes while purring madly. ‘Eah Scar not bad’ he thought and let out a little meow while yawning, he watched as she looked over Ash before her face turned thoughtful.

“Hmmm Saber, yeah I like that, Since you’re really white it’s like from the Ice Age when Saber tooth tigers where around” she said with a smile lightening up her face. Hattle pouted as she stopped patting him and moved her hand over to Ash and started scratching behind his dog ear. Ash’s tongue came out of his mussel and lent into her hand enjoying being scratched, Hattle rolled onto his front and continued to pout. ‘No fare taking her attention away from me’ he thought.

Ash couldn’t help but lean into her hand as she patted behind his ear, for some reason it felt so good to him. ‘Wow this feels so good’ he thought before they all felt the bed move and looked over to find that Alex had jumped off the bed. Alex glared at the girl and growled slightly.

“I dare you to give me a stupid name” he said and walked out of the room while ignoring the laughter coming from Ash and Hattle. Hattle and Ash watched as the girl got off the bed and headed to a door while picking up her clothes from the day before.

“Oh yeah” Hattle cheered getting ready to jump off the bed but Ash placed a large paw onto his back and pinned him to the bed. “No Fare” Hattle groaned.

“There is no way in hell I’m going to let you spy on a lady while she changes” Ash replied putting a little more pressure on Hattles back in warning before removing his paw all together.

The girl came out of the bathroom in her old clothes and her hair was brushed out leaving her black hair straight and framing her face perfectly. ‘WOW’ Hattle and Ash thought at the same time.

“He’s names going to be Randy, hehe” She laughed before they heard a growl from the door way, they all looked over to the door and saw Alex glaring at her while growling lowly. “What’s wrong Randy?” she asked still giggling before Alex lunged at her and she quickly darted out of the way. “Awwe don’t be that way it’s just a name instead of Wolf or Boy” she laughed and quickly manoeuvred out of the room.

“Why did I let you talk me into letting her live?” Alex said turning to Ash and Hattle while they tried not to laugh.

“Come on Alex. How else are we going to know she’s talking to us?” Hattle replied as he jumped off the bed followed by Ash.

“Wolf, Dog and Cat” Alex replied deadpanned while he glared at the others.

“Oh Alex what did they say when you called, I forgot to ask because of Hattles childish behaviour with Soul” Ash asked looking at Alex.

“They said to keep an eye on her for now and report out findings every night, if we fail to call in they will automatically think we have been captured/killed and send another team to rescue/kill her” he replied and headed to the door.

“Thats not fare” Hattle said frowning.

They walked into the lounge and saw her with the house phone at her ear, Alex glared at her as she shot him a cheeky smile, he jumped onto the lounge and laid down and kept his ears out so he can listen in on her conversation. Ash followed Alex’s example and hopped onto the lounge to rest his wounds while Hattle rubbed against her legs for attention and so he didn’t need to strain his hearing to listen in.

“Hello” A rough voice answered through the phone making the guys notice that her smile seemed a bit brighter after hearing him. ‘Who the hell is he?’ Hattle thought while pouting.

“Yo L It’s me” She replied happily.

“OH NO! The voices are back again!” The one dubbed as L replied before the phone went dead as he hung up. Alex raised his wolf eyebrow at how the guy hung up Ash and Hattle where also perplexed as to why the guy had said what he did then hang up.

“She has weird friends” Hattle commented before getting a ‘Shut-up’ look from Alex before a pleasurable shiver went down their spins as she laughed softly and shook her head before pressing redial on the phone and waited for it to get picked up again. ‘What the hell was that?’ They thought at the same time.

“Funny one L but I did a better one last night. Unfortunately this isn’t a social call; I need your help....” Hayley started once they heard the phone connect to the other side but only to be cut off by the guy on the other end.

“What? You need help? What’s wrong with my little sweet heart? Tell me! Is someone hurting you?” the man on the other side demanded making Hattle feel a bit jealous.

“Little Sweetheart? Who does he think he is?” Hattle ranted before being shushed by Ash.

“It’s probably a friend thing, you know how we call you pervert” Ash tried to calm him down.

“Not that kind of help L but thanks for worrying, I just need you to go to Soul’s place and get all my stuff” She replied with a light chuckle making another shiver appear down the guys backs.

“Awww what’s wrong between my two favourite couple?” the guy replied with a deep laugh as Hayley moved to a single seat. Hattle followed her with a frown not happy that all her attention was on this L person. ‘What type of a name is L it’s not even a name it’s a letter’ he thought.

“We aren’t doing too well, I’m staying at my parent’s house, they left it for me in their Will” she replied sadly. ‘I’ll make her give me her attention’ Hattle thought as he jumped onto her lap and started to knead at her thigh.

“Hay Alex remember that she’s an orphan maybe the others can find her files” Ash suggested and got a nod from Alex.

“Oh no, it’s that bad? What did he do? Don’t worry I’ll get your things for you and bring them over by tonight, you are my favourite out of you two and when I come over you can tell me all about it” he said and she smiled at the phone while stroking Hattles back.

“Another piece of info, he knows Soul so either he’s human or demon” Ash said and frowned to him it seemed like it was getting a little less likely she didn’t know about demons and such.

“We will find out when he gets here” Alex replied also frowning.

“Thank you Levin, I knew I could count on you to get my stuff without telling him where I am. I can’t wait for you to bring my stuff I want to introduce you to three new friends of mine” she replied happily and smiled at the boys.

“LEVIN she knows that demon?” Hattle replied shocked. Ash and Alex where also shocked. “How can she know him and why is he speaking so happily, he’s scary” He added before going silent.

“Please Hayley, L is fine, besides you know if you kill him I’ll clean for you for free. Ohhh! new friends? Tell me they aren’t better than me are they?” They heard his serious reply.

“No L no one can be better then you and thank you I know you’ll always be there” she replied laughing like it was a joke before she told him the address of the house. Hattle looked up at the girl in wonder how she could be ignorant of how serious Levin was. “I should be home at about 4:30pm, if I decide to go to work, also could you get me a couple of boxes or a trunk. I need to pack their things away, it’s too depressing to see the things they left behind” she added sweetly into the phone.

Alex, Ash and Hattle by this time where livid, every time they thought they had the girl in their presents figured out something else would throw them through the proverbial loop.

“Of course I will sweetie, hey maybe if you two don’t work out. Do you think we have a chance?” they listened making their eyes widen in shock. They watched as she giggled and a small blush dusted over her nose, all three held back growls of possessiveness at hearing such a thing coming from his mouth and how she grew a bit shy from his obvious flirting.

“L I’m only 19, your 14 years my senior I think people will find it bad” she replied while giggling still. Alex huffed and laid his head down not really wanting to listen to them anymore, but was also glad she didn’t take the demon on his offer.

“Aww oh well, I’ll see you tonight Hayl’s, be careful ok” he said with a small playful wine.

“See you L” She bid goodbye and hang up the phone and looked at Hattle on her lap who was sulking that he wasn’t the only one bidding for her affection. ‘I bet there wouldn’t be any damn competition if I was in my human form’ he thought before looking up at her who was already looking at him. “You enjoy human contact don’t you?” she said and placed the phone on the coffee table. ‘Only if they are as hot as you’ he thought and looked over at Ash and Alex who both looked lost in thought.
