AN: I would just like to thank all those people who read this, even if they are silent readers, and the people who bother to tell me that they like it. Sometimes I get worried that people don't like it, cause it has so many hits but i calculated for about 100 hits i get one review, depresses a person sometimes. Ok not that anyone is obliged to write reviews, I dont want to turn into one of those people who says I'll only update if you review. I'll keep on updating anyway, unless lots of people tell me to stop. But a little note is appreciated by the author. THANKS FOR READING ANYWAY!

It was the day of the summer solistice. The arena had been set up and elven warriors from all over the kingdom had come to participate. Ainu had to contend himself with settling next to Cortax on the royal balcony.
“You’re looking especially ripe today Ainu.” Cortax licked his lips salaciously. “Only two months now and then you shall do as tradition dictates in my country. You will look most stunning in a dress with your belly round and swollen. Once you know your place as my bride.” He ran a hand over Ainu’s taught flat stomach.
“Stop it Cortax.” Ainu hissed at him. He desperately wanted to smack that hand away but after having listened to the berating he had got from his father he did not dare to. After all he wanted to watch the tournament and especially Syrus.
“Ah but my pretty little one, you will have to get used to this. I cannot wait until the wedding night where I will break this beautiful mare in.” Ainu swollowed, he beged that he hadn’t heard correctly. Green eyes narrowed and sparks seemed to fly out of them and he grabbed Cortax’s hand firmly and deposited it on said person’s lap. He stood up, white cloak billowing out behind him as a breeze threw his hair back making him look like an Angel of vengence. One more glare was thrown at Cortax, that had him grabbing his chest, it was as if someone had just rammed a sharp implament into it. He cursed himself for having forgotten the pain that could come out of angering Ainu. After his fiancee had turned his back on him and strode to the banister, Cortax smirked to himself. As soon as they were married it would all change, Ainu’s magic would leave him if he had done his studying correctly. Then they would see who would break who.
The tournament started, first the weakest and most inexperienced warriors were knocked out, the young recruits who had taken part as part of their training. As the day progressed it was clear that the Prince’s skill surpassed that of his soldiers by far. He was lithe and nimble on his feet, seeming to anticipate every move the other made. It was as if he and his sword made a unity, Ainu mused. The smooth muscles rippled underneath the drenched shirt that clung to his toned chest. He watched each flexing of the triceps with a sort of erotic fascination that sent sparks of molten desire into the more southern parts of his body. He had never in his life experienced feelings like this. As Syrus turned, Ainu got a wonderful view of the muscles that worked his thighs and the firm backside, he had to pull himself together so as not to drool.
“He really is a skilled warrior.” He commented. He recieved a most pleased smile from the King and Queen of the elven Kingdom, a slight nod from his father and a snort of displeasure from Cortax. “The way he moves, it is as if he knows his partners every move before he even attempts it. And the way the sunlight reflects of his deep auburn hair, it is like watching a dance of ancient times where the two dancers battle each other for equilibrium.”
“That is quite enough Ainu.” Cortax’s and his father’s voice brought him back down to reality.
“But father don’t you think that Prince Syrus has great skill.”
“Yes Ainu, he does.” Ainu focused his eyes back onto the final fight that was taking place between Syrus and the Captain of the guard. With a display of supernatural speed and grace Syrus managed to fell the Captain and brought his sword to the tip of his neck. The explosion of applause that broke out from the onlookers made a certain someone’s hackles rise.
A few minutes later Syrus had joined them on the royal balcony to recieve his prize.
“That was quite the intriguing move Syrus. You must show it to my Captain some time so he can train our men to do it.”
“Thank you King Apol. It would be my pleasure.”
“And the speed with which you brought him down Syrus, you’re movements were so smooth.” Ainu was fairly bouncing with excitment. “You were just perfect.” He looked at him with the same adoring eyes, with which he had looked at him all those years back.
As everyone sang Syrus praise, Cortax ground his teeth angrily.
“You only won because no one would dare let the Prince lose.” The bitter comment caused a hush to fall over the crowd.
“Are you saying I cheated Prince Cortax, that I did not win by skill?”
“I am saying that your subjects would not dare to beat their prince. If you faced a true opponent you would not have such an easy time.”
“And you are that opponent?” Syrus raised a delicate eyebrow in a rather sceptical way.
“If you are not to cowardly to except a challenge. I would not want to leave you bruised.”
“Bring a sword for Prince Cortax. I seems that I shall be facing one more match.” And with that Syrus turned on his heel and made for the fight ring.
....................................................................................................................
The two princes faced each other. Cortax smirked, he would give that arrogant little princeling a thourough thrashing and then...he smirked some more, then he would teach Ainu his place. The stolen glances at Syrus had not gone unnoticed by him. Nor did it go unnoticed by him that the other prince had especially appreciated the attention Ainu lavished upon him. He attacked as soon as the sign was given, driving forward with brute strength, using his large bodymass to pound Syrus hard with hit after hit on his sword. Syrus blocked every move, which angered Cortax.
“Come you coward, how long are you just going to block? This is getting boring.” Cortax pretended to yawn, which was a fatal mistake, because Syrus dove forward, cutting the cord that held up his trousers, causing them to drop down. Laughter passed through the crowd. Angrilly Cortax pulled up his trousers, holding onto them with one hand. He started smashing his sword down on Syrus, who once again managed to block every move. He spun around and sliced down both sides of Cortax’s trousers causing him to loose them completely. With a shout of fury, Cortax attacked again, forgetting his defense and leaving himself vunerable for any attack Syrus chose to give. He countered the slash that would have cut off his hair, sending Cortax’s sword flying and placed his sword against Cortax’s flaccid member.
“Do you yield?”
“Never!” Cortax spat, causing Syrus to yerk his sword upward slighty, making a precise and very painful cut at the base of Cortax’s cock, which made him yowl like an injured animal.
“Do you yield now?”
“Yes!” The heated glare that Cortax threw Syrus would have killed if it could. Wanting to leave with his pride slightly bruised and his dignity only in partial tatters Cortax made his way towards the exit, limping.
“YOU WON!” Cortax’s head snapped up as he saw Ainu come sailing down off the royal balcony and land gracefully in front of Syrus. His eyes narrowed as he watched the way Ainu embraced the other prince and the way Syrus bend his head slightly to whisper something in Ainu’s ear. His dignity was now in complete shreds and Cortax stormed out, limping as fast as he could. Someone would pay dearly for this humiliation.

Faye knocked on the door of the study that King Apol had been given while staying at the palace. She was bidden to enter, which she did and spotted the king bend over some papers seemingly working on matters of state.
“Your majesty, if I could just have a moment of your time?” The king looked up.
“Lady Faye. Yes of course, how may I help you?” The king gestured for her to sit down. Faye settled herself and folded her hands in her lap neatly.
“I spoke to Ainu yesterday. And I was most curious about the fact that he told me that he could bare children.”
“Yes, that is correct Lady Faye.” King Apol gave her a strange look. “But what concern is that of yours?”
“Well your majesty, you see I don’t quite understand it and Ainu said it had something to do with his mother. I am very interested in magic and history and wondered if you could tell me more about it.” Faye presented the king with one of her most charming smiles.
“Ainu’s mother possessed great magic, like all of her family. I met her during a ball while visiting the kingdom of Dor Ahnu. We fell in love straight away. Ainu will probably have told you the history of how it came to be in the first place. My wife’s family were one of the magical families blessed with child birthing abilities for their sons. Only the magical families were blessed, for their children were most valuable in a fight. It seems Ainu has inherited much from his mother, not only her looks. Unfortunately there is not much else I can tell you, for it is kept a secret from those that do not own magic. Like the elves do not speak of their gifts, neither did my wife, she had planned on passing it on to Ainu when he was old enough, but unfortunately we lost her before the time was right.”
“I am sorry your majesty. But you have enlightened me further. May I know your wife´s name, mayhap I can find out some more information in the vast library this castle has to offer.” The king smiled kindly at Faye.
“There is no possibility for them to be together Lady Faye, you know the laws of your people, Ainu is a mortal and he will die, Syrus will not for a very long time.”
“Your majesty how did you...” King Apol chuckled.
“I may be an old man my lady, but I do know some things, and I have years of experience on my side.”
“There could be a way you majesty, there might be.”
“Maybe so Lady Faye but I cannot risk open war by breaking off the engagement with Prince Cortax for no good reason.” Faye frowned slightly but decided not to comment. This was the king’s decision not hers.
“Thank you for your time King Apol. I shall leave you to you work.” The king nodded and showed her to the door.
