Chapter 4

Faith sat on the floor in front of the fire with a cup of green tea that Margret had left for her. She had her nose practically stuffed in the ancient book Wulf had left on the floor. She couldn’t understand a word of the book for it was written in a language she had never seen before. The artwork on the pages was amazing though. There were pictures of all different witches and warlocks of all different centuries. She stopped on one particular picture and almost chocked.
The image was an identical picture of her mother. From the wave black hair, the rich chocolate eyes, even every bone structure in her face was the same. She knew it wasn’t possible. She scanned the writing below it trying to make some kind of sense of it. Two words stood out, catching her eye.
Cinthia Hunter. It’s my ancestor. So they’re right, the gene pool does resurface every once in a while. Cinthia had looked so much like her mother it hurt to see it. She slammed the book shut, before the tears threatened to surface.
She really missed her mother. That was the only person in the world that she had been able to talk too. Her mother was like her only true friend, the only person that understood how lonely she was and out a place she had felt. Faith never really got along with her fellow classmates and the teachers thought she was different, because of the work she turned in to them.
Her mother never judged her and always made a point to tell her that everyone around her was jealous because she had been so smart, so much more mature. She would always come home to homemade fudge that her mother would bake her just to cheer her up after a long dreaded day at school. Faith even was teased by her sister. Her sister was popular with all the other kids. She was headed of cheerleading and her boyfriend was the bad boy of high school. He was also the captain of Varsity basketball.
Before she realized it, she had tears sliding down her cheeks. She brushed them away furiously, hating herself even more for feeling weak. She closed her eyes wondering why she had such a hard time showing her pain. Even by herself, she couldn’t bring the feelings out to mourn her family. She was convinced that all the teasing from her classmates and sister had a lot to do with her hiding her emotions.
Slowly she felt the walls around her heart begging to crack. Something about being in Sin’s presence was taking a toll on her defenses. She had no clue what it was about him that made her want to throw her arms around his neck and melt her body into his strong one. She wanted to feel warm and safe, she knew she could feel that way with him if she let herself. She was scared to though, she didn’t want her heart broken again. She didn’t want him to die and once again, she’d be left alone with no one.
“Okay, no more. I’m not going to think of this anymore. I need to meditate and clear my mind.” She took a deep breath trying to push her chaotic thoughts to the back of the mind. She closed her eyes and not before too long she was relaxed and deep in a trance. She was completely in touch with herself; it was paying off doing this all the time.
Meditating had always helped her unwind after a crazy night at the club and helped her sleep better too. A small thought flittered across her mind then was gone. What if she tried to find the power that everyone was convinced that she had? She focused her mind onto each of her charkas, which were the seven centers on her body. She let herself be drawn into each one of them. She found herself more drawn to the Sahasrara, which was the crown center. Light purple swirled in her mind connecting her to a energy within her. She found herself acknowledging that she was a spiritual entity.
She had no idea how long she had been sitting there as the color flowed through her, but she was starting to feel very light and she was positive that she didn’t feel the pillows underneath her. The purple grew more intense and a warmth started to spread through her body growing until it radiated outside her. Before she knew what was occurring, strange words formed in her mind and she was whispering them.
She could feel an undeniable power growing washing over every limb in her body in massive waves of energy. She slowly fluttered her eyelids up to find that she indeed was floating in thin air. She had to be a good four feet off the ground. The purple aura that had filled her head was now surrounding her. She felt so alive and this felt so right, she wasn’t even scared. She felt as if the part that had been missing in her for so long was found. This was what she needed to feel complete.
A smile of joy formed her full lips and a childish giggle of joy escaped her. The power felt like it was tickling her whole body, inside out. She knew there had been something uniquely different about herself and this was power was it. She was the witch that they claimed her to be and for some reason she was relieved. She wanted to be their savior for some reason. In addition, this power would help her avenge her family; her bloodline and that made her feel important.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Sin opened the library door with Wulf close behind him. He looked up from the doorknob and his jaw dropped in surprise. He stopped in the doorway gawking at the beauty that was floating in front of the fire. Wulf looked over his shoulder and smiled. Wulf knew she could do it. He was confident that if they left her alone for a while she would try. She had been so motivated to know about her ancestors that he knew she couldn’t resist.
Sin stared feeling a flood of different emotions, but the strongest was aching. He ached to touch her, hold her, and bury himself deep inside her. He had tried to convince himself that she couldn’t be anymore beautiful then she already was, but again she surprised him.
There was a light purple bubble of electrical power around her, making her look so radiant. Her straight black hair was flying about her as if wind was blowing through it. Her hazel eyes were now a bright green and sparkling with intense power. A smile was plastered on her face and for the first time since he met her, she was laughing like a little girl. She was breathtaking and he wanted to go over there and wrap her in his arms, share her joy with her.
Wulf pushed Sin aside with his body and went straight for her. Sin would have stopped him, but Wulf was on her before he could get to him. Wulf had reached out to touch her. Suddenly, as if the energy around her exploded, it slammed into Wulf’s body and sent him flying across the room. Sin jumped out of the way just as Wulf’s body whooshed by him.
“Holy shit!” Sin was shocked. That little girl just threw that big man across the room. She was extremely powerful; no wonder the Changelings wanted her dead. Wulf hit the book shelves hard and slid to the ground as if he was some kind of rag doll. If he had been a normal mortal, he would have died instantly with that much force on impact. The selves where he hit broke and books came tumbling down around him, but the smile had never left Wulf’s face.
Coming to her senses, Faith eyes faded back to the stormy hazel and she fell to the floor with a soft thud. She was gasping for breath as if she had ran a mile in five minutes. Her cheeks were tinted pink from the exertion of the power.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry Wulf.” He only shook his head, not being able to get his voice to work because the wind had been knocked out of his body. It was impossible for him to get his voice work. “How long have you guys been standing there?”
“Long enough to tell that you’ve unlocked you power.” Wulf choked out, hesitantly rising to his feet. “I’m quite impressed, lass. I expected it would take you a lot longer to unlock the power within you. I have to say you have a substantial amount of it too.” He chuckled as he rubbed his lower back.
“I am really sorry. You startled me and it just happened before I could stop it. As if it instantly wanted to protect me.” She sounded so sincere that it made Sin’s heart clench in understanding and he wanted to go hold her, reassure her that it was okay.
“Don’t fret, lass. I knew exactly what was going to happen. I did it to test the strength of your energy.”
“Why the hell would you do that? I could have hurt you. Are you a blithering idiot?” She snapped. Now there was the Faith that Sin knew. She went from worried to festering anger. He had to laugh at that.
“Shut up, lass, before I decide to gage you so you can’t talk.” She glared at him but wisely held her tongue. “Let’s start with your first lesson. We are going to work on blocking your thoughts. You have a mental shield that you can put up in your mind if you have a strong one and I know you do.”
“How do I put the mental shield up?”
“It’s kind of hard to explain so I will talk you through a guided meditation and hopefully you can do it that way.”
“Okay, well let’s try it.” Wulf took a seat in front of her. She folded her legs and placed her hands on her knees. She took a few deep breaths and let her eyes flutter closed.
“Breathe in and out. Feel every muscle in your body relax as you center yourself.” Wulf’s voice washed over her in a deep calming wave. His voice was void of all emotion, just a low rumble that she felt in her whole body. “Look inside yourself and find your place of pure energy. Find your place of solitude, where you go to get away from everything. This place may be a room, the forest, any place that makes you feel safe.” Faith found herself in an ice cave. The place was the color of pale blue from the dim light reflecting off the ice. “Picture a ball of energy in the middle of your special place.” She saw this energy on a tall pedestal in the cave. She slowly made her way over to it, afraid of slipping on the ice. Surprisingly, the floors were sturdy as if they were tile. “This ball of energy represents your mind. Imagine yourself building a solid wall around all angels of your mind to block out all intruders that feel the need to push through to read your thoughts. Treat it as your most dearest possession that you do not want touched.”
She looked around to she what she could build the walls with and found at the bottom of the pedestal ice slabs that would be perfect. She picked up the pieces and started to form a square box around her ball of energy. She made sure there were no gaps that anyone could slip through if chosen to try.
“Whenever you have placed your walls you may leave your cave.” Wulf looked over at Sin.
I can’t hear her thoughts. Sin sent to Wulf. Wulf nodded in agreement, as he watched Faith. She had a talent for catching on fast. Everything they’ve thrown at her has proven to show that she had a strong mind. If they kept her well protected and gave her a good six months there was a good possibility that she would be able to take the Changelings down.
She slowly opened her eyes, holding Wulf’s gaze. A slow smile formed on her lips and she raised an eyebrow expectantly. As if she knew, Wulf would test her and she was daring him too. Wulf took her up on that challenge and pressed her mind gently. He couldn’t move it so he pressed with more force.
“Fuck, lass.” Wulf had just yelped, backing off as if he had just been burnt. She laughed in triumph.
“Do it again and I’ll fry your mind.” She stated confidently. She turned to look at Sin.
“No, I’m good.” Sin gave her a seductive knowing smile, making her breath catch.
“What did you just do to me, lass?” She turned to look at Wulf in confusion.
“I don’t know. I felt you pushing against my mind so I just pushed back.”
“That was one hell of a push, lass. It felt as if you had just zapped my mind with one hundred volts of electricity.”
“Well, you won’t ever try it again will you?” She cocked her head at an angel that stated she was bad. Wulf glared at her for a second wondering if he should put her in her place, then just shook his head in amusement.
“You’re a fast leaner, lass. I’ll give you that much, I’m impressed.”
“Thank you.” The room was silent for a moment as Faith took Wulf in. “You know, I’ve been meaning to ask you something. How do you know all this?” Wulf visibly cringed. He looked into the fire, seeming to get lost in the flames. Faith thought he was going to avoid the question. She watched him closely though and she knew there was a lot more to him then he let out. This vampire had a dark past that he hides from his brother.
“I don’t really like to talk about it, lass.” He looked at her, studying her. “You want to know why I know so much then come here lass and I’ll show you.” He held his big hands out to her. She placed her small hands into his cold ones and putting her trust with them. “Close you eyes, lass. Then try to mold your mind with mine and I’ll show you how I know so much.”
“Is this another lesson?” He looked at her sheepishly.
“Kind of, if it works. You may not be able to do it, but with the power that you have proven to have, I’m sure that you can.” He rubbed his thumbs across the top of her hands trying to relax her.
“I feel really weird about this. I don’t want to invade your personal thoughts and memories. It’s not right.” She tried to pull her hands out of his, but he held tight on to them.
“Do you want to know the answer to your question?” She nodded. “Then relax. I will only show you what I want you to see.” He was trying to comfort her and she knew it, but she still felt unsure. Wulf looked over her shoulder at Sin. Sin nodded in understanding and slipped on the floor behind Faith, pulling her into his body. He ran his hand up and down her back in slow comforting strokes.
“Are you sure?” She asked timidly her eyes already sliding closed. Wulf watched them silently. His Prince was rubbing all of his hand along her body and she melted into him. There was a strong attraction between them; Wulf could smell it all over them. Faith head fell back against Sin’s chest and Wulf knew it was now or never. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
“I’m sure.” He muttered. Faith reached out to touch his mind. As if Wulf’s mind was a black hole, it sucked her in. Her body went slack against Sin’s chest. Wulf held her hands tight as he let his memories of his childhood flow.

* Memory *

Wulf lay in bed, listening carefully. All he heard was the songs of crickets in the distance. He slipped out of his bed, putting clothes in his bed to make it look like he was still sound asleep in his bed. If his foster parents were to come in and see him gone, they would alert the whole town. He didn’t want that at all. Then they would find out he was sneaking off at night to see his mother.
His foster parents would be so mad that they would surely lock him up and throw away the key. He had been taken from his mother at birth. It was forbidden for a High Wicca Priestess to have children. The village looked down on it because they were convinced that witches didn’t deserve to raise a family if they were going to follow such a dark religion.
His mother didn’t care about laws. She had found her son and led him off to the forest when he was six years old. She explained to him what had happened and why he was taken from her. Wulf was devastated. He’d been living a second life, where he should have been with his mother. They came to an agreement that every new and full moon, he would meet her deep in the forest.
He slipped out his window, creeping on hands and knees against the house until he got to the back. He was then on his feet and sprinting silently into the forest. He cursed for not remembering his shoes, but it was too late now. He would just have to wash his feet before he got back into bed. He was so excited to see his mother again. She had been teaching him magic for a while now, telling his as soon as he was eight years old he could be apart of their chants. Tonight was the first night he was going to be able to join in.
He could see the bonfire coming up through the trees and he could feel himself growing nervous. There were five women dancing around the fire not counting his mother. He slowly made the clearing and stepped out into the open. His mother looked his direction, smiling and waved him over. He made his way over to her side and gave her a tiny hug. She was the most gorgeous woman in the world.
She had child like features and big round brown eyes. Her cheekbones were high on her face and she had small pout lips. Her light brown hair fell past her waist in a mass of wavy strands. She was tall for a woman, about six feet one inch and was slender all over. She was perfect in everyway, or he thought.
The woman continued chanting as his mother turned away from them, going to grab something in a small. She came back to him and kneeled so she could look into his face. She had a smile on her lips and a gentle look on her face. She held out the bag to him and he took it.
“Are you ready?” Her voice was light and feather soft. He nodded to her unable to hide the anxiety from her. “Don’t worry my child, you will do fine.” She had always referred to him, as ‘my child’ and it sound a little possessive the way she said it. As if making it clear to him that he was her son and no one else.
He took his spot in front of the fire and opened the bag. He took handfuls of the powder and started tossing it into the fire. The flames blazed higher and it crackled softly. He let the words flow from his lips that his mother had drilled into his brain so frivolously. The women slowly gathered around him still chanting in unison.
“Goddess, hear our cry. Listen to our child. Help us find the courage to fight the village that is condemning us. Help us punish the weak for they punish your children. We sacrifice our faith to you. Hail the goddess of nature.” His mother leaned down and kissed him head in reverence.
“Good job my son.” He had no idea that he had just sworn himself into their religion.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Wulf stood in a church with his head bowed. This was the only building left standing in the whole village. The Wicca Priestess had finally taken their war to the town. He had been coming back from getting his mother supplies from the village to the east, when he was welcomed home to smoke bellowing from the sky.
The witches were killing people left and right as he road in. His mother was in the distance in front of his foster parents’ home. Wulf felt a sick feeling in his gut and he made his way over to her side to find both of his foster parents dead at her feet. He chocked, after all this time he had spent with her he had no idea she capable of killing.
She looked startled to see him and he knew right then what was going on. She had used him. She had made him believe that she loved him, but she had used his power to strength their own so they could destroy his home. He stared at her with so much hate and raw anger. He was glowing from the intensity of his feelings.
She looked like a frightened little girl. Her brown eyes wide with fear and her lips parted. She knew he was a lot more powerful and she was admitting defeat. He didn’t care though; he wanted revenge for all the lies and secrets she had told him. He wanted to see her dead. He got his wish, he thought of choking her and then his mother was gagging putting her hands to her throat as if she was trying to fend something off it.
“I’m eighteen years old and I couldn’t see your deceit. You manipulated me and destroyed me just like this village. You broke my fucking heart mother. How dare you call yourself a mother? You are nothing.” Moreover, she was nothing. Her heart exploded within her chest and she sank to the ground, dead. He swore from that day on he would never use magic.
Now he stood in the church, his mother lying on the offering table with her hands folded over his stomach, and he stared down at her. He felt betrayed and completely abandoned. He had nowhere to go and no one that could take him in, he was alone. He just didn’t realize that’s how it was always going to be.

* End of Memory *

Faith mind slammed back into her body with a jolt. She slowly opened her eyes, letting them adjust in the dim light. She could feel Sin strong body cushioning her from behind; his musky male scent filled her senses. She wouldn’t mind spending a lifetime smell that. She went to sit up and her body protested. She moaned falling back against Sin. She chuckled softly and wrapped his strong arms around her to keep her into place.
She hated the flush that spread across her cheeks. It wouldn’t have been so bad if Wulf hadn’t been in the room, but he was and quite interested in what was unfolding in front of him. He raised an eyebrow at her and she went from pink to bright red.
“Sin let me go now.” She said through clenched teeth. He hesitated and she was sure he was going to fight to keep her in his arms, but when she went to pull away he let her go. Wulf let a tiny curve to his lips on the left side and then it was gone.
“Hi to you too, kitten.” She rolled her eyes in annoyance. She turned her full attention to Wulf; she was going to speak when he beat her to it.
“Now you know.”
“So are you a warlock?” She was awe struck. She would have never guessed that Wulf had powers in him.
“I have a small extent of power, but no I’m not. I could have been if I choose too, but I refused.” She understood why.
“Then why would you help me?”
“The greater good.” Was all he said? He held out a little black book to her. “This is a book of basic spells. Look over it and we will work on some tomorrow evening. I have other things I have to do tonight.” He rose gracefully to his feet and headed for the door. Faith was on her feet and racing to stop him. She put her hand on his arm.
“Thank you Wulf. I know it must pain you to do this with me.” He looked at her with hard golden eyes.
“Your welcome.” Then he was gone. She stood there for a long second, pondering all she had learned tonight.
“So kitten, do you think you can trust us?”
“I don’t know about you, but I know I can trust Wulf.” Sin’s eyes narrowed and she was convinced she had seen jealousy flash across his features, but it was gone to fast to know for sure.
“What’s this, kitten? You have feelings for Wulf.” It was more of a statement then a question. She regarded him for a moment and decided she could work with this. She gave him a cocky look and held his eyes.
“He’s a really sweet guy, in a bad boy sort of way and he’s handsome in a dark deadly way.” Sin was grinding his teeth together, she could tell by the way the hollows of his cheek moved.
Oh, poor baby. Did I strike a soft spot? She thought with joy.
You think this is a game kitten. Two can play… “Ow, woman.” He bellowed as Faith slammed a wall down, guarding her mind. “You are a fast learner.” He muttered, rubbing his temples.
“Well, stop getting inside my mind. Next time I’ll throw you across the room like I did Wulf.” She glared at him and he moved to his feet.
“Now that we are back on that subject. You will stay away from Wulf unless I’m around.” He folded his muscular arms over his broad chest trying to intimidate her.
“I will do whatever I damn well please.” She snapped. She turned on her heel and headed for the door hoping to escape Sin, before she confessed that it wasn’t Wulf she wanted it was he. She was so mad though, once again he had tried to order her around as if she was his pet and she was not going to tolerate that from him.
How dare he command me as if I were his slave. She was about to grab the knob to open the door when she was spun around by rough hands and pushed up against one of the bookshelves to the point it was biting into her back rather uncomfortably. She gritted her teeth against the pain and glared fiercely at Sin. She was not going to give him the pleasure of her crying out or letting him know he had any kind of power over her. She angled her chin defiantly. He placed his hands on either side of her head and blocked her way of escaping with his large strong body. His face was inches from hers, and his scent was making her thought process a little fuzzy.
“Don’t you dare dismiss me like that. I’m your one hope of staying alive, so treat me with some respect or I’ll throw you to the dogs.” A slow smile spread on her slightly damp lips. Her hand touched the back of her head and she went slack for a moment almost falling to the floor at his feet, but came back in time to catch herself.
“No you won’t” She whispered her hazel eyes sparkling with mischief. “You have an oath to Cinthia Hunter that you will not break.” He snarled at her trying to scare her. She only stared at him, honesty shinning brightly in her eyes. He wanted to punish her so bad. He couldn’t understand why such a little girl could drive him completely crazy, but she managed too.
“Stay away from him or you will wish you took to my warning.”
“You want to know what you are.” She raged pushing at his solid chest. It was like trying to move a ten-foot boulder. “You are an asshole. You think you can intimate me with you manly physic and try to overpower me with your strength, but you can’t. I’m not scared of you.” She was to the point of yelling.
“You should be afraid of me, kitten, because I can break you to bend to my will. You won’t even know what hit you until it’s too late.” He barked it out. He pushed his body flush with hers. She could feel every muscle and bulge. He felt so good, strong and powerful it made her mouth water for a taste of him.
He slipped his thigh in between her legs and her eyes flashed with the knowledge of his rock hard erection that was pressing into her stomach. His cock was demanding attention from her just as Sin did moments ago with his words. Everything about this man demanded obedience, even his erection. She found herself aching to give it. She wanted to run her hand down his chest, feel his washboard stomach, run her fingers along the top of his pants, to slid her…
Faith Stop! She was shocked with herself. What in the world was coming over her? Well, right now, it was Sin, but she was trying hard not to think about that. Just one touch from this man she was itching to tear his clothes off his body and have her way with him.
“Get off me!” It was suppose to come out as an order, instead it sounded more like a breathless plea and she hated herself for it.
“Not until you promise to stay away from Wulf.” His ice blue stare was so intense, almost like her could see right through her and knew what he was doing to her body.
“You don’t own me.” She tried to push him away again but this time with less effort.
“You are my woman.” He declared, then those deliciously tempting lips were come down on hers with bruising force. She stood there shocked into immobility. No man had ever dare kiss her without her wanting him too, but he just took. Well, now that she thought about it she did want him to kiss her. Even since they first met, it had been fluttering through her thoughts. He pushed his tongue against her lips, forcing her to open to his onslaught.
As soon as his hot tongue slid over hers, her body jolted and she was pushing her hands into his long black hair. He pulled him closer to her as her body arched up into his. Her tongue took on a mind of its own and she was battling with his in a urgent frenzy of need. Her knees buckled and she hung on to him for all she was worth.
He nibbled her bottom lip with sharp teeth, making her suck in a sharp breath as her stomach muscles clenched and she became dripping wet for him. Her body was shaking from the intensity of her emotions and her blood was running hot through her veins. Dear lord, this man was a professional at kissing and she wondered if having sex with him would be as hot as his kisses.
He slanted his head to get a better hold on her mouth gaining more access from it. His hands moved from the wall to gently grabbed her head and tilted it back so he could have all the benefits of making love to her mouth with his tongue. She moaned into his moan and he almost exploded in his pants. That was the sweetest sound he had ever heard. He could have sworn it almost came out as a purr setting his body on overdrive. His hand slipped down her neck to the collar of her dress that happened to run low on her breast.
She arched pushing them into his waiting hands. He pulled the fabric down so he could get to all the glorious flesh. Some of the top buttons on her dress scattered on the floor but neither one paid any heed to them. Sin followed the trail his hand had went to get to her chest. He ran wet open mouth kisses on her throat and she shivered as her dragged his fangs down her skin.
He gave her kisses on the top of the swells of her breasts sucking lightly. Her body came to life in one jolt of pure lust as he slipped that pebble hard nipple into his mouth, tugging at it with his teeth. She cried out and grinded her lower half against his thigh, applying pressure to the place that needed him most. He growled deep in his throat and stepped back long enough to be able to get his hands under her dress pulling it up and out of the way as he placed his palms on her behind and pull her up into his body.
She wrapped her legs around his waist like a vice. His jean-covered erection was now snug in between her legs. She whimpered as a hot flaming liquid heat pooled where she was begging to be touch. He knew there was no way she was going to leave his room before he fucked her silly. She had him so hard for her with her frantic animalistic lust for him.
He pushed her harder into the bookshelves as he started to grind his hips against her, causing a delicious friction in between her legs. She was panting into his mouth as his tongue thrust in and out of her mouth in the same rhythm as his pelvis.
Everything in her body seemed to be centering at his hard cock the was pressing against her clitoris, his jeans rubbing against her bare skin and she knew she must be soaking the front of his pants because she wanted him so bad. He ran his calloused hands along her thighs, knowing all he had to do was undo his pants and he would be free to bury himself in her hot wet body.
Her hands were all tangled up in his hair by this point in anticipation as he moved his hand to the juncture of her thighs until his fingers found the small wet nub of her pleasure. He flicked it and she broke their wet kiss, throwing her head back against the shelves and let out a cry as she came all over his waiting fingers. Her body convulsing against him in her sweet release.
Good god, he almost had his own release. No fantasies of being this way with her, in a passion frenzy, even added up to how hot she was in his arms at this moment. He had to have her now, every muscle in his body was demanding it especially his erection. He was hurting so bad to be inside her, to feel her come around him as he released inside her. He was about to drag her to the library floor and take what he needed from her.
Her cheeks were flushed and her lips were swollen from his hard passionate kisses, her breath coming out in short pants as if she couldn’t get enough air in her lungs. He slid his finger deep inside her, the muscles convulsing around it. She squirmed against his hand and her eyes were dilated from the onslaught of constant pleasure. Her whole body was trembling and her tongue slipped out to wet her lips. He groaned and latched on to her mouth as if it was his only lifeline.
She matched his kiss with the same fiery desire as his own. Their teeth nipping at swollen lips and along each others teeth. If things kept going this way, she was going to be in a lot of trouble. She needed to stop him now forcing her lips from his. She took several deep breaths trying to get her voice to work.
“Stop.” She choked out. He grabbed her earlobe with his teeth. She shuttered against him, trying to stop the moan that was rising from her throat with no success.
“You don’t want me to stop. Your words say so, but your body says it wants me buried deep inside it, kitten.” He slipped another finger in her and her mind turned to pudding as she came harder then the first time. Her mind exploded into a million pieces and she didn’t remember why she had wanted him to stop.
His free hand went to the front of his jeans and he quickly undid the front of his pants. His cock sprang free rubbing against her flesh in a promise of undeniable pleasure. She shivered in anticipation, he felt huge against her skin.
He pulled his fingers out and she made a sound of protest. He ignored her because he knew she would be a lot more from what he was about to give her. He placed his hands on her behind, positioning her so he could slide into her heavenly warmth. She held her breath, looking deep into his dark lust glazed eyes. There was a startled sound next to them and they both looked to see a very embarrassed Margret standing in the doorway with her clean clothes in her hand.
“I’m so sorry my laird.” Sin let Faith’s feet slid to the floor. He stepped away and she smoothed her dress, turning to Margret. Sin moved in the other direction and did his pants up.
“Thank you so much for bring my clothes to me.” Faith’s voice was shaky and she refused to make eye contact with Margret. She took her clothes and fled the room. She knew her face was flushed with embarrassment.
“My Laird, what in gods name do you think you were doing?”
“Not right now, Margret.” He muttered it as a warning as he moved to the fire. She didn’t heed his warning.
“You’re suppose to be protecting her, not trying to…”
“I said not right now.” He bellowed. Margret glared at him for a long second, not happy with the way he was acting.
“Well you should go get some of her things for her so she doesn’t have to walk around here uncomfortable. That would be the nice thing to do.” With that said she left him alone. Sin looked in the fire wondering what had come over him. He had never meant to touch her let alone almost make love to her, but seeing the way she was with Wulf hurt. He wanted her to be that way toward him.
He was such a jealous idiot. He wouldn’t blame her if she never talked to him again. He was totally lost in the moment and of all things, he had stated that she was his. He had no right to say that because it wasn’t true, she wasn’t his, she’d never be his.
He made his way to the phone on the cherry oak desk, when the library door slammed opened the door. Rage came strutting through the door with Danger close on his heels. Both men were dressed in leather and strapped up with their choice of weapons, ready for a night out on the town.
“Hey, my laird. What’s happening?” Danger asked, looking at the broken shelves, curiously. Sin didn’t even bother to explain.
“I need you two to come with me tonight. I’m going to need some back up as I go retrieve some of Faith’s stuff from her place.”
“Is there going to be Changelings?” Rage was leaning against the wall. He had his jagged blade knife out and was cleaning under his fingernails with it. Danger rolled his eyes and Sin just smiled. Danger and Rage were always together, they fought together, hung out together and Sin wasn’t for sure but they probably lived together too.
“Most likely.”
“Count me in.” Rage sheathed his knife and gave a dark smile.
“I thought you’d say that. Meet me at the Hummer. I’m going to grab my guns and I’ll be down there.” They nodded in unison.

Faith had the dress off in less time then putting on, but it really helped that Sin had tore almost all the top buttons off of it. She put her jeans on and gave a sound of pure relief. She came to the decision that she would never wear a dress in Sin’s presence again. She was so disgusted with herself. She never let a man get that close to her. She always had her guards up, but with him, it was as if she had to have him touching her.
He was invading her thoughts, her dreams and now even her space. He had made her feel so much like a woman, made her feel things she had never experienced in her life and she had necked with quite a few guys. She didn’t know what to think about Sin, all she knew was that he was very dangerous, to her senses and her body. She would not let that happen again.
This man wasn’t even human. He would help her and then most likely leave her. What would happen then? She would be left with a broken heart. She couldn’t let herself do that. She couldn’t just have sex with this man and not fall for him. He would drag her under real fast. She had to fight her feelings for him. It was her life and she was not going to let the Changelings control it, let alone some man that she didn’t know anything about except that her could make her so wet with uncontrollable lust.
