Chapter 4- Murderous Intent
Now for the new and next chapter! Huzzah! Plot time!
Chapter 4
The night seemed much lonelier tonight. Ayisa stood leaning against a wall in her room, staring out the window to the night sky. Even though she knew he wouldn\'t be with her tonight, the least he could have done was to stop by and wish her goodnight. Something about it not happening seemed to fill her with a dread of sorts. But she couldn\'t understand why.
Why does it feel... like something bad is going to happen... Shaking the thought however, she dressed into her night gown and went to bed.
It wasn\'t until late at night, near midnight that she forst heard it. \"MURDER!!!!\"
Ayisa woke with a start. Someone was shouting all throughout the castle. Soon enough the sounds of several people passing her room could be heard. Guards from all around the castle were moving to wherever the first person shouted. Suddenly an order of \"Block the exits!\" was heard, as more feet moved. Ayisa peered her head out the door, clearly confused about what happened.
\"What\'s going on?\" she asked one of the guards as they passed by.
\"Lady Ayisa, please get back inside, we will-\" But before he could finish, there was the sound of broken glass, and a yell outside. Immediately the guard rushed off. Ayisa didn\'t like the fact she would have to stand by while the guards did everything, but she knew it was only for her safety. Going back into her room, she lay down in bed, mulling over the events of tonight.
She stayed awake all night till the break of dawn.

All stood quiet that night as Antros walked along the halls of the East Wing. Rekia had asked him to patrol around his room and thier guest\'s room as well. He only wished he could have seen Ayisa for a bit before going, but Rekia insisted he start immediately. Antros walked the halls quietly, his footsteps echoing softly across the emptiness. As he walked he noticed a door slightly open, with a soft light coming through as if someone had lit a candle.
\"Hello?\" Antros said softly, hoping that whoever it was could hear him. When no response came, he moved closer and opened the door a bit. \"Hello? Do you realize how late it is?\" He soon noticed the same man from before, his blonde hair and richly attire. He was leaning against a desk that had a candle on it. It looked recently lit and Antros would have easily mistaken the man to be asleep had not he noticed a sword struck into his back.
\"W-what... what happened!?\" Antros burst in and looked to the man. He was clearly dead, the blood still fresh. The would certainly looked new, and he wondered if the person that did this was still somewhere nearby. Antros gripped and the sword and started to pull it out when a shout was heard.
\"MURDER!!!!\"
Antros spun around to see a guard disappearing around and the sound of footsteps. Soon enough it seemed that everyone was here, blocking the doorway. Rekia pushed his way through, ordering them to guadr the exits to the castle. \"Antros... so, looks like you slipped up.\"
\"What are you talking about!?\"
\"Don\'t play stupid! It\'s obvious! You killed him just as you are responsible for all the other crimes!\"
\"No!\" Antros shouted, completely thrown off guard. \"That\'s absurd! I came in and found him like this!\"
\"A likely story, but you can\'t fool us. A guard already told me you were pulling out your murder weapon and ready to escape when he caught you.\" Rekia drew his own weapon, a spear. The blade itself looked to be made with something other then just ordinary metal. \"Antros, I hereby place you under arrest. Come quietly with us and I promise you that there will be no need to use force.\"
\"So, if your not gonna listen to reason...\" Antros immediately dropped the sword and ran. He knew it was at least twenty feet to the ground as he burst out the window, the glass shattering. \"Ahhh!!!\" Antros struck the ground hard, feeling slightly dazed.
\"Hurry! Get him!\" Rekia immediately ordered the guards.
Without thinking, without bothering to turn back or think what could happen if he did, Antros ran. He knew he stood no chance against all of those guards, and with what they had seen it would be near impossible to defend himself. But more importantly was the weapon. For Antros recognized it as his own, the very same sword he carried for mose of his life on the road. He knew the guards would recognize it and use it against him. But the question was, who would go to such lengths just to drive him away? He had always been careful not to reveal his true idenity when it came to have to kill someone. But had he slipped up somewhere?
As he pondered these things, he ran, far from the gaze of the castle. He would have to leave the kingdom soon. It wasn\'t safe to stay here. The only possible clue to why he would be framed was the man that was killed. According to the queen, he had come from an island kingdom to the east. If the man had an enemy, he could find out about it there.
Watching him run from a tower at the castle was the real person to blame. He gazed to Antros with his light red eyes, as if apprising his value. \"So it begins. And now dear brother, it\'s time to make you pay for your crimes...\" He jumpped off of the tower and vanished into the early dawn.
