Great climax! (And no, I'm not just talking about the sex scene.) I kept hoping that Idora would see reason and reconcile with Antros, but I guess his heart had been filled with hatred for too long. His final, defiant words seemed very true to his character. And I'm glad that Antros and Ayisa get to live happily ever after. They certainly deserve it!

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this story, and I'm looking forward to getting started on the sequel to Believing In Myself!

Chapters 17-20. Great stuff! I thought that Reika and Evia's conversation at the inn, and their first kisses, were very sweetly written. It was quite romantic of Reika to want to become strong so that he could protect Evia -- he's obviously an old-fashioned and chivalrous gentleman. I also really enjoyed your descriptions of the Kingdom of Dosia and all its rich glory. Especially the dress which Evia handles, which feels "like water made solid and sewn together." That was a lovely, poetic image.

As always, you keep the suspense high. I can't imagine what Idora is doing at Dosia, but I'm sure it's something sinister!

Greetings! Me again, reviewing chapters 13-16. Very interesting stuff! I was quite intrigued by the situation you described in the Doisa Kingdom and look forward to seeing how you weave that thread into the tale's tapestry. You also suprised me with Evia's revelation about Rekia's past -- I wouldn't have guessed that, but it makes sense. Perhaps Rekia acts so macho to compensate for being picked on in his youth. Hopefully, he'll realize that he's wrong about Antros, and get together with Evia. Or maybe he and Antros will get together. (No, wait, that would be one of my stories...)

Until next time!

And...she's back! I'm sorry that my reviews of this great story have been somewhat sporadic. It would take all night if I tried to explain why. But the important thing is that I finally had a chance to read Chapters 9-12, and really enjoyed them. Especially the fight scene in Chapter 12. Having some of it happen in the river was a nice touch of originality, and added some good sensory details to the conflict. I really felt Antros's panic when he nearly started to drown. Things just keep getting worse and worse for our heroes, making me increasingly curious about how they're going to make things right again. Hopefully, I'll be able to read more soon and find out!

Very nice story, Snidne. I liked how you didn't tell who won the fight. I'll take the easy road and say it was a draw.

Nice chapter. Finally find out why Idora hated his brother so much. In a way, I don't blame him. Now to see who is the better fighter. And the sex. Can't forget about the sex.

Chapter 21 had some really good description stuff. And then really good battle scenes in 22 and 23. I liked how Idora got betrayed. I actually wasn't expecting that. *waits for the next chapter*

I kind of fell behind, but have read up to chapter 20 and so far this story is really awesome. The way you have written it, I can picture everything going on in my head. Good storyline and interesting characters. I'm really tired right now and can't think... But like with your other stories, I know I will be sad when this one ends. Keep up the good work Snidne. =D

Hi, it's me again! I just had a chance to stop by and read Chapters 4 through 8. And quite exciting they were, too. You really keep the action going, raising the stakes in each new chapter, and making my heart beat faster with each fight or narrow escape. I never know what's going to happen next! I'm terribly worried about Antros -- you've woven such a skillful web of deceit around him, I can't imagine how he's going to prove his innocence. And his brother continues to intrigue me. What sort of creature is he? And what is the "crime" that he talks about Antros committing? Also, I like Evia. She seems like a resourceful girl who takes what she wants. I hope we see more of her!

Can't wait until I have time to read more!

Hi!

I actually had a few moments of free time today, so I hurried over to begin reading this. The Prologue, plus Chapters 1 -- 3, certainly form a promising begining. I can see that you're starting to weave a very complex bit of intrigue. You've made me quite curious about this mysterious blue-haired stranger, and the final scene in Chapter 3, when he destroys the rose, gave me chills. I also quite enjoyed all the lovely smut in Chapter 2. Thanks!

Can't wait until I have a chance to read more!
