Surrender
I only want to be the one you want
I'd force my point, but then I can't
I know you could ease the pain of my youth
If I could force you to see the truth
How can I control you when I can't control me?
If I'm not honest, how can I make you see?
I only want to be yours, truthfully
I think the sickness is in how you agree
You only want me if i'm the one you want
You'd force my hand but then you can't
You know you could ease the pain of my youth
Instead you force me to live your truth
How can you love me when I'm not who you wanted?
