The sounds from inside the room quieted down and Shuu heard movement. A moment later, he heard the door unlock.
“Arigato, Aniki, but I want you to open the door.” There were no other sounds and Shuu hunched his shoulders sadly and leaned his head against the door, hitting it loud enough to make a small thump.
“Aniki,” he paused as an idea came to his mind. “Ne, Aniki, you still haven’t beat me. Those controllers are getting rather cold.”
There was silence, then, “You’re not going to let me win?”
“Hell no.” He smiled to himself.
Kyou opened the door, not looking into Shuu’s eyes. He paused in the doorway to Shuu’s room, then followed him in.
They sat in front of Shuu’s bed again and turned on the system, loading up the file. After three rounds of Shuu kicking Kyou’s butt, the younger leaned carefully against the other’s shoulder.
Kyou tensed up immediately and lost another round. As the next loaded up, he relaxed, content to let Shuu rest there. “Shuuko?” he asked quietly.
“Hmm?”
Kyou cleared his throat. “Can…can I-“ he broke off, a blush staining his cheeks
Shuu looked up. “What is it, Aniki?”
Kyou glanced down without turning his head and his blush deepened. “Can I…read……nevermind.” He again focused on the game.
Shuu smiled slightly, his own cheeks turning red. “My diary?” he asked, still looking at Kyou.
When he smiled suddenly, Shuu gasped and looked back at the TV in time to see Kyou’s character knock his out.
“Sugoi…” Kyou whispered, his grin widening.
“Aniki, that was mean. I wasn’t even looking.”
“Not my fault,” he said, ruffling Shuu’s hair. When he realized what he was doing, his smile faded and he pulled away.
Shuu sighed and moved closer again. “You can’t read the whole thing yet, but you can read what Oka-san did, if you want.”
Kyou nodded slowly, his heart beating fast.
Shuu stood up and opened the drawer and took out eh book. He turned to the last page again and handed it over to his brother, his hand shaking slightly.
Kyou reached out and took it, refusing to look at Shuu. Taking a deep breath, he read the last sentence.
’I’m in love with Aniki, and I want him-what the hell is wrong with me?’
