Five

Kiera shook her head and followed Lisa through the door. Upon entering, she made a brief scan of the room. A few new faces, but nothing of great interest. The people in the room were mainly bouncers, with a few stage hands, all of whom were lounging about on the various types of mismatched furniture.. Mike, the backstage manager was the only musician of any sort in here, as the bands had their green room elsewhere. Lisa had been trying to garner his attention a while back, mostly because drummers are her favorite flavor. Not to mention that he's easy on the eyes.

Come to think of it, he may have been the reason that we started bringing food every other week. Too bad for her he's taken... Musings having stopped abruptly, she looked around for the source of the interruption. One of the newer bouncers, John...? Jordan...? J-something...was leaning over to Mike, whispering something that, judging by the sound of the snickers that punctuated it, was rather derisive and directed at the girls.

Frank took a breath to say something, but Lisa stopped him with a hand on his shoulder and a mischievous wink. She stepped forward, drawing herself up to her full 5’ 10”. She stalked over to the offending bouncer. Though it was a short distance, the slight extra sway in her hips drew enough attention to the details. The way that her deep red Dickies may as well have been painted on, and the waist band sitting dangerously low around her hips. The pants led to the contrast of her black tank top. A form fitting shirt, the thing more alluded to the curves that lay beneath instead of loudly proclaiming their presence. The neckline, however, had been altered, cut lower, and a V cut low in the center. Between the string that laced it back up, black lace was hinted at.

“Now James,” she began in a sultry purr, leaning over. The intentional view that she gave him showed off what had been suggested. “I can think of a number of things that would not only be better for…those involved,” she paused and looked him up and down, “they could be entertaining as well…” Lisa trailed off, a dark smile began to curl at her lips. A few chuckles passed around the room.

James sat there gaping at her a moment, and seemed about to say something, when Kiera put herself into his field of vision. “Yeah. You could shut your mouth. As entertaining as the look on your face is, flies are going to show soon.” James snapped his mouth shut, and everyone else erupted into raucous laughter. He tried to hide the embarrassment by laughing along, but the mirth noticeably missed his eyes.

“James, go. You’re now at the back of the line tonight,” Frank barked at him. James jumped visibly and walked rather hurriedly to the door. Back of the line meant that he was in the dog house. He’d have to stand near the back of the line to make sure that no fights were started. It wasn’t an actual position, and every one of the Abyss' regulars knew it. They, in turn, would pick on whoever it was mercilessly, because how often was it that concertgoers could give the bouncers grief?
