Chapter 49 Out the Window and Gone with the Wind!

Darkness Chapter 49 Out the Window and Gone with the Wind!

Drakk entered Keylyn’s chambers to find My Lord Seer’ Reign stalking and pacing frantically back and forth in a mad angry fury.

Looking up as the demon warrior moved toward him, Darkness shouted loudly, “The brat is gone! I even had the castle searched, and he is nowhere to be found! It’s as if or as though he flew out the window and disappeared.  But how could he possibly break my binding spell so easily?  By now he should be withering in agony from the distress and the distance between us, without my sanction. ”

“My Lord, is it possible that Key didn’t go of his free will but was taken by some one or something, which flew out the window with him?  Did you notice these shredded curtains?  They look like they were, literally, torn apart from the outside by something very large, clawed and vicious,  something my acute senses tell me might be a giant full blooded demon, a powerful and intelligent one at that."  Said Drakk wildly sniffing a portion of the fallen, destroyed leather curtains then he looked up to see his lord's reaction to what he said.

The angry wizard looked back at his second in command and the redheaded demon caught a fleeting soft distressed look come in Darkness’ dark black eyes, which were normally coldly emotionless. Did Drakk see a brief hint of worry and concern for the missing little elf, as he had when the master had damaged him in a jealous fury?  Did his lord actually feel something  like actual care and affection for his beautiful little plaything, despite his protests otherwise and his misguided efforts to display only a sexual and magical interest in the beautiful elf boy?

“Ah yes, Drakk, someone’s after my little prince’s royal blood in order to use him as their own deviate political pawn. Most likely it's the same one who sent the Gray Viper Assassins Clan after him in the first place since the assassins failed. The filthy, vile old beast has now chosen a stronger and much more powerful assailant to carry out the deed. And, certainly we can guess who that individual is can’t we, Drakk?”

“Yes, my lord, my not so loving undead elf father El’lissinor! ”

“We have to find a way to get my pretty brat back before that monster touches him or takes his blood. El’lissinor wont kill him  but he’ll make his life a living hell. ”

“My Lord does it sound familiar?  You too, gave the lovely elf little rest or mercy when you were with him. ”

“ Unfortunately, I remember all to well, Drakk!” Said the wizard with a disturbed poignant expression on his handsome face. “Drakk, get my troop of mercenaries ready.  We’re going after the boy now before that demon can deliver him to that heartless bastard at the top of his high frigid mountain.

“As you command, my lord!” The redheaded demon quickly left the room to do as he was ordered.

Ooooo

The further Keylyn flew through the cold air with demon, the angrier he got. The only thing that pleased him was he managed to acquire his carry bag with the book and his hidden magick dagger, concealing them under his clothing and his cloak while he was dressing unbeknownst to the demon. The furious little elf decided he was going to free himself from the monstrous Demon no mater how long it took or if it took every once of his magick to do it. He was going vaporize the demon just like he did the Lizards then endeavor to break Darkness spell on him with the magick dagger. After that he would disappear into the great wild wood and be free of the wizard forever. Hopefully, with the binding spell finally broken between them, Seer’ Reign would never be able to track him or find him ever again.

Ooooo

A week and a half later, the wizard Seer’ Reign and Drakk with a large company of mercenaries found the remains of blue black body of a huge demon on the edge of a large nearby lake. The body was left mostly reduced to a fine ashes. The location around it reeked of powerful magick, but there was not a single sign of Keylyn or his remains, not a foot print in the dirt, a broken twig, or a shred of clothing or anything else. Nothing, even to suggest it was the same creature that took Keylyn in the first place.

Darkness placed one foot in a stirrup in order to mount his horse to continue the search for Keylyn when, all at once, he fell screaming to his knees where he proceeded, in great distress, to puke his guts out until his stomach was totally purged. Even through the pain endlessly continued for some time Darkness knew then that the bond between the missing elf and himself was completely severed, as if a sharp vicious blade was used to do it.  And still the wizard’s body was ruthlessly, and invisibly, struck over and over.  He was unable keep from crying out as unending pain assaulted his body and mind in wave after wave as the last of his occult power was leeched from him until he lay numb, weak, and motionless on the ground utterly void of magick. Through a fog of pain, Seer’ Reign realized that Keylyn had now come into his own magick and had managed to take back the power stolen from him, as well as all of Seer’ Reign’s personal inherent power along with it.  He could only wonder what powerful artifact the boy had, somehow, acquired in order to do such a terrible deed to wound and devastate him so.

This would not do, not do at all.  He would get his lovely little slut back, and he get his magic back as well, no matter what it   took to do it. He could not allow anyone to take his magick and live to tell the tale or dare laugh at him for being weak! Seer' Reign's rising heated fury knew no human bounds until finally it rose in him so strongly that it even purged away every last bit of the sick, weakness and pain from him. At last he,  once more, could get back up on his feet.

A number of miles away, a triumphant Keylyn sat laughing under a tree, as he finished a particularly intense magical operation. He was proud and energized as the magical power gradually built up inside him. The stolen dagger had worked all too well to remove the bonding spell then it drained back all the magic Darkness had taken from him. Afterwards, the  magical ritual or action ultimately even went above and  beyond that for it striped his previous dark master of all his personal power and transferred it back to Keylyn. Now Key, at last had his final decisive revenge for the bastard’s cruel repeated abuse and humiliation. Darkness he sensed was now utterly void of any magical power. Never again could Key be forced by the bastard to do something against his will, not ever again. Darkness was still dangerous, even without magic, for he was a trained warrior and mercenary. So Keylyn knew he needed to remain watchful and completely out of sight and, perhaps even take on a disguised to conceal his identity. So at least for a little while, or till both his pursuers gave up trying to find him. He'd need to hide from the mysterious enemies that sought to kidnap him for some unknown reason and from Darkness too, who would most surely seek to get his magick back.   But, at least, Key was able to fight back now with strong magicks if he was cornered. Never would he allow himself be taken without a fight.

Keylyn decided to return to a certain town, to gather supplies and things he would need and then prepare, maybe even get some advice from that old magic user, before he headed into the great wild wood and his new life. He only hoped that the dark ex-wizard wouldn’t think to look for him in place where he’d already been. He needed to be very carefully; after all he wouldn’t want to face the Seer’ Reign's fury after what he had just done to him. It most certainly wouldn’t be a very pleasant reunion, especially if the man tried to use that great black long sword on him.  Keylyn suddenly gave a deep sigh of relief and smiled when he realized, that alas, the man wouldn’t have a chance, with Key’s new found powerful magick, now would he? Keylyn laughed and laughed then grinned his own little evil grin. Now he had both his freedom and power. What more could a young elf want? Certainly not love.  For, surely, it was the vilest evil illusion of them all!

*The end…. or not, it’s up to you my dear faithfully readers, for really there is more to the story than this! With the least little bit of encouragement I will continue to tell the tale! If I am boring you let me know, and I’ll just let it be!

So please tell me what you want…or not, and then I will truly know whether it’s the truly…

The end…*

I will be continuing the story since everyone, was kind enough to reply and tell me they want more, but there might be a delay before the next update. I work in retail and Christmas wipes me out mentally, which makes it hard to think, but I will try hard to update soon... my twisted tale! Thank you, Gslinger
