Chapter 41

Chapter 0041: In This Bloody Dawn :

Long wisps of silver hair flowed around his face; highlighting the flawless beauty that was Mikael Stormblade. The fading stars would soon no longer shine down upon the two combatants as the sun would soon take command of the heavens. His body felt sore from the long fight and several scratches upon his body. Mikael struck downward and was met with a block by Niklas. He grinned and thrusted out his hand; a blast of wind sent the undead warrior sprawling.

He arrogantly yet stoically swaggered towards the fallen figure. Niklas was raised up onto his knees as Mikael held the blade high over his head. The blade whistled; cutting through the air. Its aim was for only one cut.

Blood leaked from the corner of his mouth. Mikael stumbled back still holding onto his sword as Sundine's blade stuck in his chest, and through his heart. Mikael stared in shock at the blood draining from his chest, and found it hard to breathe.

Niklas stood up on weary feet. The battle had lasted long into the night. Now with the dawning of the sun it had finally ended.

Mikael gave a half snarl, half growl towards Niklas as he used the last of his strength to charge Niklas. His blade sank deep into the heart of Sundine until his sword tore through to the other side. The two fell to the ground. Mikael laid atop Niklas.

Tears. He felt tears from the eyes of Sundine; but none came forth from Mikael. He gave a soft, half choked laugh. "So this....is...my end." His lips twisted into a half smirk.

Stormblade's head collapsed against Niklas' in a parting kiss. Bloody lips pressed against one another. Their vacant eyes stared into the depths of the other's emptiness.

Aes'Danan watched the image of the death of the Warlock inside Elgard's Eye. His hands released the dark colored stone. It hit against his chest a few times before it became motionless. He looked towards Lord Schaller.

"The Warlock has been dealt with, my Lord." Aes'Danan reported.

"Good. Ready your army to march out soon. The war on the West is about to begin. I have gotten word from our new employer, Emperor Gorgoroth." Ryan told Aes'Danan.
