Chapter 4

The captain started to walk slowly towards Penny. Penny did not want to be anywhere near him. “Stay away from

me.” Penny said as he got closer. Without saying a word he kept walking towards her. He reached where she was and

simply pushed her to the side. Penny was leaning against a bureau and he opened one of the drawers and pulled out

some clothing.

“Get dressed,” he demanded as he threw the clothes at her, and walked away.

“What are you finally finished with me?” Penny said snobbishly.

“You want more?” He responded in the same tone, as he looked back at her. Penny didn’t answer. “Didn’t think

so…Get dressed,” he demanded again as he walked out of the cabin. Then right as he did he walked back in, “And

I’m not finished with you,” said the captain as he left again locking the cabin door closed.

Penny stood there with the clothes in here hand and wondered what had just happened. Penny expected the captain

would do more to her. She stood there in fear of what might come next. But she also saw a bit of kindness in the

captain’s voice and body language. Was the captain not as horrible as he appeared to be, Penny wondered to

herself. She was confused. She had clothes, but was locked in.

The captain had been gone for nearly thirty minutes. Penny was bored just doing nothing in the room. She

decided to use that opportunity to explore. Penny had never been in a Captain’s cabin before, and found it much

nicer than she had imagined. The bureau was a nice finished wood, the wood floor was nicely made, and everything

seemed so well furnished and neatly kept. On a pirate ship Penny did not expect such a nice place, especially

since the rest of the ship was poorly kept. Perhaps the ship was named the Throne because the Captain’s cabin

appeared to be the place of a throne bearer.

Penny did not want to sit for she was in far too much pain for that, but she was still able to walk around and

look at things. The captain had not said she could not touch anything, so she started snooping. Penny started

with some drawers. She wanted to see what things the captain had kept. One set of drawers was completely locked.

Penny figured there had to be a key somewhere. Penny looked in the bureau. She found several sets of clothing.

Some clothing that would never fit the captain. In fact the clothing the captain had given her, fit her almost

perfectly, with the exception of the pants and tunic being slightly long, but Penny fixed that by tucking the

tunic in neatly and rolling up the ankles of the pants some. Penny had wondered why there were so many clothes

that were so much smaller than the captains. Penny sensed a rather interesting story behind the captain’s

motives.

All Penny needed now was something on her feet. But she at least had clothes, and was happy for that. When

Penny dressed herself she did so very cautiously for the welts on her would make even the slightest touch send a

stinging pain through her entire body. At first Penny did not want to put clothes on at all, to avoid the pain,

but the idea of warmth, changed her mind. Penny decided she could handle a bit more pain, especially after all

that she had to go through in the past hours. Penny looked through the drawers and did not find anything terribly

interesting, just some clothes, and other useless knick knacks. She was bored again. Penny decided to go back to

the locked set of drawers. If they were locked something terribly important had to be there. Penny wanted to

know what was there.

Penny worked a few minutes to try and open the drawers regardless of them being locked, just to see if forcing

them to open would work. After that she looked around the cabin to find something that could unlock the drawers.

She had not seen a place where a key could have been hidden anywhere, so she assumed the captain had it on him.

Penny looked around and under things to see if she could find even a loose nail in a piece of furniture. She

walked over by the medium sized table that stood at the center of the room and looked around underneath. A loose

nail is exactly what she found. The nail looked thin enough to fit in the crevice of the lock in the drawers, all

she needed was another one. She looked around a bit more and hidden behind the bureau in a tiny area she found

not a nail but a key. Captain here isn’t very smart, leaving keys around to be easily found, she thought to

herself. Penny listened to make sure no footsteps were coming. There was a small enough window in the door for

her to look out to see what was going on. The captain was nowhere to be seen, and the crew was at work. Penny

carefully removed the key from its hiding place and went over to open the first drawers. There were three drawers

that were locked in a row. She started with the top.

Penny unlocked and opened the first drawer. She opened it to find gold eating utensils, a diamond necklace,

some gold coins. These things must be the captain’s most prized possessions, thought Penny. After looking

through the first she moved onto the second drawer. In the second drawer she found more jewelry and other

treasures. She opened the third drawer. In this drawer was a golden watch, some keys to something, some silk

fabrics. She kept looking through the drawer that seemed to have the most valuables in it. Moving things around,

she came to the bottom of the drawer. It looked very strange. The bottom of the drawer looked slightly warmed

and as if there used to be some sort of knob there to pull it up to reveal a secret compartment underneath.

Penny stuck her fingers into the tiny crevice until she could pop it up some. Where the bottom of the drawer was

warped, Penny could finally open it up. She had to pull the drawer out a little more for the secret compartment

opened backwards, towards the back of the set of drawers. The drawer had to be almost full pulled out for the

compartment to open. Inside the compartment were some rags, but something was underneath. Penny pushed them to

the side to reveal several portraits. One portrait was of the captain, seemed fairly recent, for the captain did

not look any younger. Underneath that one was a portrait of the captain with another person. It looked like a

young boy, could not have been more than eight years old. Curious very curious, Penny said to herself. Under

that portrait were more rags, but underneath that was one more portrait. It was very dusty. Penny pulled it out

of the drawer and took one of the rags to wipe the dust off. While dusting it off first, the captain’s face was

revealed, followed by the face of another young face, the face of a woman.

Penny was in shock. She quickly dusted off the rest of the painting and saw that that portrait was painted

right in that cabin, on that ship. Penny stared in disbelief, when suddenly she had heard voices heading her way.

“Crap!” she said has she tried to put it all back. Penny was able to get the portrait back in place and the

secret compartment barely closed but enough that she thought she would be able to get the drawer back. She put

everything back over the compartment and tried to close the drawer. The drawer was jammed open, she tried forcing

it back in, the voices came closer. “Come one you stupid piece of shit. Close!” The drawer was still jammed. The

voice was right outside the door.

“Hey! What you doing!” charged in a pirate. “Ya can’t be in there!” Penny was not fast enough in closing the

drawer. Fuck! she thought to herself. Penny had not turned around yet and pretended to not hear the man. Finally

she got the drawer back in. “I say, what you doin’ wench!” the pirate demanded as he grabbed her arm and pulled

her around, facing him.

“Nothing!” Penny snapped back.

“You ain’t allowed in that drawer, I tellin’ the captain, he said still holding onto her arm.

“Oh I don’t think you want to do that…” Penny responded in a seductive voice.

“Eh why ain’t I want to do that?” asked the pirate.

“Don’t ya want some of the captain’s most prized possession, and maybe take some for yerself…” Penny continued

in her seductive voice. The pirate thought about it some, thinking Penny was talking about herself. “No” he tried

to deny.

“Oh are you so sure?” said Penny. “Ya sure ya don’t just want a little!” Penny said as she moved her free hand

down his body to between his legs.

“Hey woman, what ya doin?”

“What’s yer name, ya handsome hunk of a pirate?” Penny said more seductively has she progressed to give the

pirate a hand job.

“Uh.. uh..my- my- name is.. is..” the pirate tried to say as Penny continued. “Its- its- its..um...uh it’s…”

the pirate kept trying to speak. He had let go of her arm and Penny, backed him up against the wall, as she

continued circling her hands around his crotch. “Its uh.. its-”

“Forget so soon?” Penny cut him off and then slammed him back into the wall.

“Carl, the…the name is Carl.” He finally said.

“Oh what a lovely name, it makes you sound like loyalty,” Penny said.

“It do don’t it,” responded the pirate happily.

“Oh…aren’t you a naughty pirate,” Penny said as the pirate began to move his hands around her breasts. Oh it

feels so good….” she said.

While Carl was moving his hands around her breasts Penny took the key to the drawers that she had been holding

onto and attached it to Carl’s pants without him noticing. She continued to give him a hand job, while he

continued to fondle her breasts. Carl decided to switch places and he turned Penny around and pushed her against

the wall. The pirate was too involved in what he was doing to notice what Penny had been doing or the voices was

coming towards the door. Penny could hear the captain outside.

“Where is Carl!” the captain demanded furiously to the quartermaster.

“Captain, I- I sent him to check on the girl,” the quartermaster responded cautiously.

“And how long ago was that!” yelled the captain.

“Ah- ah ten minutes ago Captain.”

“Ten minutes! Where-” The captain stomped away towards the cabin.

Penny could tell the captain was furious.

“Help! Help me! Get away bastard, get away, ahhh!!” Penny screamed.

“What’s going on!” the captain yelled as he burst into the cabin. Carl looked behind him in terror, not noticing

his hands were still on Penny. “What- You! Quartermaster!” yelled the cabin when he saw Carl on top of Penny.

“Aye Captain!” came bursting the quartermaster.”

“Seize him!” the captain demanded.

Carl then realized his hands still on Penny’s breasts. “Captain, sir, no, no, ain’t what ya think, please sir!”

pleaded Carl as the quartermaster grabbed him. “I tell ya sir, it ain’t, she-”

“Silence!” shouted the captain, as he began to move angrily move towards Penny.

Penny’s had to think of something. “Captain, it was him, he- He was trying to steal something, I tried to stop

him, he backed me into the wall-“

The captain looked back at Carl angrily and then back at Penny.

“Wench what makes ya think I believe ya!” said the captain as he grabbed her hair, pushing her harder against

the wall. The welts on her back began to send stinging pains through her body.

“He...he took something, something from behind that bureau,” replied Penny trying not to reveal the pain she was in.

The captain went and looked behind the bureau where his key was supposed to be. “Where is it!” he yelled,

getting in Carl’s face. “Carl…ya best tell me where my key is,” the captain demanded.

“I swear it Captain, I ain’t know what yer talkin’ about. The wench, she-“

“His breeches, I see something on his breeches!” Penny interrupted.

The captain looked down at Carl’s pants and right there just barely hidden by his tunic, Carl had the key. “Ya

ain’t know what I’m talkin’ about, aye, then what do ya call this!” the captain said as he grabbed the key. Carl

confused looked down at the key, then at his pants. “Bitch!” he yelled at Penny who had been smiling demonically

at him, when the captain and quartermaster weren’t looking. Serves the bastard right, she thought to herself.

“Take him out for a flogging, quartermaster!” demanded the Captain.

“No! Captain, she-“shouted Carl as he was dragged out. Penny feeling relieved began to relax some until she

noticed the captain had gone over to the three drawers. He opened each one to make sure everything was in its

rightful place. However Penny was not able to put everything back in its exact place in the last drawer. Her

stomach began to tighten has the Captain opened it up. The rags were in a different place and she was not able to

close the secret compartment all of the way. In fact when the captain opened the drawer Penny could see it and

noticed that one of the portraits had a corner sticking out. Shit she thought to herself, really hoping that the

captain had fallen for her little game.

“Well it seems everything-” the captain began to see when he noticed the corner sticking out. Penny’s stomach

tightened more. The captain stared at the corner of the portrait, Penny could see even from the back of him,

that he was becoming very, very angry. His body stiffened but he tried to make it very subtle in relaxing himself

a bit, and putting the portrait back the way it should be.

“It seems like everything is where it should be,” he said as he closed and locked the drawer and hung the key

around his neck.

“Tell me wench, what made you think Carl be stealing something?” said the captain.

“He looked it, and I’d appreciate it if you’d call me by my rightful name.” Penny responded.

“Rightful name?” he said walking towards her causing her to back up. “Well then tell me what this name yer

going by is then wench!”

“Penny, the name is Penny, not Wench, or Woman, or-” she said stubbornly as he covered her mouth.

“I suggest ya stop there…Penny,” he demanded. Penny did. “Good girl, now sit, tis time for eating,” the captain

said.

Penny realizing how hungry she was listened. She walked towards the table, rather confused. It seemed as if

her game worked by the way the captain was appearing to try to act, but by the sound of his tone and body

language she wasn’t so sure.
